a WII Fit. I've been looking since Christmas and finally found one last night. I've been doin weight watchers for nearly 3 weeks and have lost 14 lbs with no excercise at all so I figured if I'm excercising I can take it off even faster. I did 24 minutes on it today and I did figure out a couple of things...one is that I need a good sports bra...on the weekends I usually go without around the house...BIG MISTAKE if you're doin the wii..."the girls" bout beat me to death. :trampo: Now I'm not big by no means but I could have done some damage with those puppies. Second thing is have LOTS of Tylenol on hand cause I am HURTIN. But that too will pass and I'll be on my way to thinner. Just curious as to how often and how long most of you work out on your wii's??

My time varies, usually about 30 to 45 min, i have done an hour and half, spread through out the day.

Most days I do an hour of Wii Fit (or My Fitness Coach), and then later in the evening an hour of "family" wii sports - which gets in some mild activity because we really get into the activity and flail around and laugh a lot!

My friend has one of these and the other day I tried it for the first time. It's fun. I like the one where you can run and follow the trainer...and then you have to beat the dog. :D:D

Do you find that it's hard enough to really get a decent workout?

Yes, and no.
I get a good workout, but it takes longer. You must pause and manually select each exercise individually. There is no option to "string them together".
In the beginning, you only have aerobic exercises for short durations, but once you unlock the longer/expert modes, it is a very good workout.
Rhythm boxing for 10 minutes is challenging. Free step and free run can go for as long as you wish.
The fitness exercises encourage you to add weights and you unlock more reps. When it isn't challenging, you just add more weight.
The balance games are fun and are actually work your core a bit.

I've been doin the step aerobics, jogging, a couple of the strength training excercises and some yoga at the end. I feel like I'm gettin a pretty good workout...more so than what I was doin before which was nothin. My problem is that it's located in the living room and the kids seem to either be in my way or are constantly askin if they can do it on the board too. I've done it 2 days in a row and I'm SORE!!
