Default Took measurements, feel horrible

Ok, I think I understand about measuring bust, waist, and hips, but people here also seem to mention measuring thighs and arms. Where do you take the measurements for those? at the widest part?

Ugh. I just bought a tape measure and measured myself at the waist. Now I feel horribly depressed.

My best friend just took her measurements & couldn't believe what she saw. It's ok - it's totally normal. It's shocking, but normal.

I don't measure my arms, but I wish I had. I do measure my thighs & that very top around the widest part. Wanna talk about depressing? =) And I were doing my arms, I would probably take 2 measurements: around my bicep & then just below my shoulder around the thickest part.

Hope that helps! =)

I do my arms at about the biggest part of the upper and the lower. I have strategically placed freckles than help me measure in the same spot. I do the same on my leg. It's about the widest part but not an exact science since I use the freckle. I have no idea how I came about to have a freckle in each location but it works!

It's really up to you, just be consistent so that you'll see your results.

i know that i have to start measuring but i know i am going to be depressed so i have been pushing it off too. I can't find the tape measure i say!! lol

dont worry though you keep going and take it as more motivation to keep on losing!

Me and my workout buddy took out measurements back in september, and I remember she was measuring everything where it was the biggest (i.e. the biggest part of your thigh, waistline, etc.)
