Hello, I'm new to the forums. I recently decided to join eDiets meal delivery plan and I just received my first shipment. I just sorted everything into neat stacks (I can be a little anal like that) and inspected everything.

I read up a lot on the program before I gave in an ordered my first week. There was a lot of negatives reviews stemming from what seemed to be a major customer service blip early last year. I decided to give them a chance however and so far so good. Everything came today, right on schedule. I was kind of expecting it to be late seeing as Monday was a holiday, but I was presently surprised. The food looks pretty good and I can't for the plan to start tomorrow!

My only complaint so far (there is always a complaint!) is that I didn't get the advertised free gift. I feel kinda guilty complaining about not getting a free gift...after all they don't have to give it to me. But it was advertised very clearly so I really want it! Also I don't really like that you can't substitute snacks like you can meals. If you can, I didn't see how. I don't really like dark chocolate nor was a crazy about getting those lemon and raspberry cookie/cake things. The one snack I was really looking forward too (Terra Chips!) was substituted out for some kind other kind of cookie. But I guess its not so bad, I like cookies (just not raspberry or lemon flavored ones).

Is there anyone out there that is currently using this plan? I'd love trade tips, reviews, opinions. Or to anyone who has ever done it, how did you like the food? Did you lose weight?

Thanks for reading!

Brittany

Hi Brittany!

I did eDiets about a year ago and am no longer on it. I do have a lot of info in the archives of my blog Thin By Mail (http://www.thinbymail.com/) though if you are interested in checking that out and comparing it to your experience. I hope it goes well for you!

I'm replying to your post to encourage you to DEMAND your free gift. They actually do have to give it to you if they're advertising it. Don't feel bad!

GOOD LUCK!!!

Hey Goldfish!
Today was my first day on the ediets meal delivery plan. The food was tasty, and I agree with you about the snacks. Also I called customer service about the free gift, and they informed me it takes 5 to 6 weeks for delivery! And its usually a tote, water bottle, or something along those lines. Anywho's how is the plan going for you so far?

Noodlebean,

I actually have already read through your blog, I kinda lurked around here before I finally joined. It was very informative on all the different plans available. I actually even have it bookmarked! :)

Puccikat,

Thanks for the information about the free gift. I agree I have found the food really tasty! I've been on the plan now for 5 whole days and have only had two meals I didn't like. One was the chicken flatbread pizza. The pizza part was good...but chicken on it was absolutely awful. It was this weird dark meat stuff..had a horrible taste. Ruined a perfectly good pizza. And I didn't understand the weird chicken, especially when the next day I had the chicken with herb potatoes and broccoli and the chicken was delicious. And I also didn't care for the oatmeal with apples and almonds. It was like flavorless mush. I tried to doctor it up but ended up throwing it out.

Hopefully results will come when I have my weigh in this Thursday, than I can tell you how its going! :carrot:

I'm glad you guys find the food tasty. Was looking into it. I think it is reasonably priced compared to a lot of the other delivery services http://www.imageuploader1.info/image/Bt/Bi.gif

Hey Goldfish!
Good job so far with the plan. Its day three for me! I tried the chicken pizza and I liked lol! I believe I'm having the chicken with herb potatoes today, and I'm looking forward to it! I will also post my results, but I think I'm going to do monthly wiegh ins versus weekly....

Kari1980,
Give the program a try! The food is pretty good, be ready for small portions but I suppose thats what a healthy lifestyle is all about. I've done Nutrisystem and didn't like the food. The difference between Nutrisystem and Ediets is that Ediets is fresh real food lol! And it doesn't leave you with horrible gas the way NS does. Congrats to all those who use Nutrisystem and had success. And yes I did loose about 20 pounds on NS, but at the end of the day I want a diet that I can translate to real life when I feel ready. And I feel I can do that with Ediets!

Hi all,
I just made my first order with eDiet yesterday, so I'm suppose to get my food next Thursday. Meanwhile, I'm going to start getting back into some good habits, like drinking my water, and having healthy snacks. We'll see how this goes. If eDiets customer service is bad, I'll try Diet to Go next. But, I'm going to be positive!!! :)
Good luck to all and looking forward to losing with you!

So today marked my first free week on the plan! I had my weigh in this morning and I came in at 211.5! That doesn't seem like much if you look at my stats but figuring in the fact I gained two pounds before I started that brings my weight loss to a total of 2.5 pounds! Not bad seeing as honestly I haven't stuck to the plan 100%. I went out with friends on Tuesday...had a couple of drinks and when they ordered a pizza I couldn't resist!

I got my second shipment of food yesterday, right on time and everything acouunted for. I was also happy to see one of my biggest complaints was taken care of! I hated that a lot of the meals that had veggies on the side were in the same container. So also a juice from the veggies made the food all soggy....this was especially annoying with the lasagna dish. It was basically floating in veggie juice. This week all my meals that had a side of veggie came in a separated container. It makes it look like more food too!

Puccikat,
Whats your favorite food so far? I think mine was the beef steak with rice and mushrooms! So good! Maybe I just got a bad batch of chicken on my pizza. I have the Canadian bacon pizza in my new shipment so hopefully that will be better!

Tripmom,
Welcome to the program! I hope it works out for you! I haven't had any customer service issues so far...everything has been on time and nothing missing. Although I've heard diet-to-go is a good program too..and a little cheaper. I may try them after a few weeks on ediets

Congrats Goldfish:carrot: Thats healthy and good wieght loss! I hope I can do the same! I'd have to say my favorite food has been the pizza so far lol! It was really filling! I have to be careful this weekend tho, cus I'm on the 5 day program.........

Welcome to the Program TripMom! This is also my first week as well! Good Luck!

This has been my first week with ediets. Today, I had the beef steak with quinoa pilaf and carrots...YUCK!! Tough, fatty beef, the quinoa had no flavor and WAY TOO MANY carrots! But this has been the worst meal so far. Most everything else has been pretty good. I don't like the fact that some of their snacks are very high in fat, at least the chocolate did. Oh well, my daughter liked it!. The other gross thing was my chicken spinache lasagna had a piece of chicken bone in it. But, as I said, most other meals have been very good.
I'm only doing one week of ediets and then trying DTG. I may come back to ediets at some point, we'll see how DTG goes.
Hope everyone is losing!

Hey all! Hope everyone is still having success with ediets! My weigh in last week was really exciting...I came in at 209! I have been struggling to get under 211 for months and I finally made it. It really gave me the motivation to continue. Unfortunately though this will be my last week doing the program. The slugging economy finally hit home and my job announced a pay cut late last week. :( So I gotta start pinching my pennies and this program is one of my luxuries that will have to get the axe. I will have to make this last week count!

Tripmom,
I have that meal in my fridge and just looking at it I can tell there are way to many carrots. Every meal I've had with those shredded carrots I haven't much cared for. Good luck with DTG! I was thinking about switching to them after a few weeks with eDiets but unfortunately I will just have to give up the whole meal delivery thing for a while.

Hey TripMom!
I agree about the beef and pinaf, that was really gross. I stay away from any meals with carrots as well lol! I hope you come back to ediets, its been heaven sent for me so far! Good luck with DTG!

Goldfish! I'm glad you are loosing weight with ediets, but i'm sad you will no longer be using the program. Believe me I understand the strain of the program costs! I am confident that you will take the lessons learned in this program and apply it to your own diet style!

I'm on my 5th week of Ediets meal delivery for Alli and I've lost 14 lbs. so far. The food is better than Nutrisystem; however, some meals have way too many carrots or roasted red peppers. Sometimes the meat is grisly, but most meals are very good. I use I can't believe it's not butter spray, it has 0 calories and no fat grams. That along with salt/pepper gives it a little added flavor.

I've been thinking of switching to Bistro MD because the food looks better, but I'll stay on this program for at least two more weeks just to give it a fair shot.

Hi Puccikat and all.... Well I am putting my toe into the ediet plan this week.. Now I started off on ediets and liked it until they messed up the program.. that sent me on a search of other programs.. I most recently have been on Bistro MD... loved that food a lot.... but they are chging their shipping and I have had several delivery disasters, so I thought it might be a time to do a trial of ediets..

Anyway..... give me some of your suggestions on good foods to choose vs to stay away from.. I want to give this program a fair shot so I want their best food not their worse..
Thanks for your info...........Renita

kyhoney......... thanks for that... but I am having a hard time swallowing any of the meals..... are they all this poor ??
I had the breakfast eggs w sweet potato and some kind of mystery meat .. oh and there was not a speck of EGGS in the box.....
The beef, brown rice an broccoli....... there was only 1/2 of slice of very thin piece of meat and 1/4 of it was grisly.....and the other 2 meals I just couldn't eat..... the eggs I had yesterday were powdered eggs and such a sm amount there was no way that was even enough to make the 160 cal it stated was there.........what a disappointment all 5 meals I have had so far.......... tell me there something better ??

Hey Renita! Here we are...again:D
I had to chime in on the beef & broccoli. When I was on eDiets last year at this time, this was the winner of the 'worst meal' award for me. The beef was so grisly that it was inedible. I steered clear of any beef meals after that. BTW, I'm jumping back on the eDiets bandwagon from Bistro for some of the same reasons Renita expressed. Interesting to see that some things never change. There were alot of meals that I didn't like back then, but there were also alot that I did. I liked almost all of the chicken dinner meals that they offered. Hope that's still the same. They have alot more pork meals now. The one that they had back then wasn't very good. Hope that isn't the same. Will be interested to see what's good, and what's bad.

Hey Kathy.... I wish I had better news to report.:sorry:

WELL 3 more meals tried..
The curry chicken didn't taste bad but unfortunately there was 1/4 of 1/2 piece of a small chicken breast( 2 little chunks)... not enough to fill up on that meal
2nd meal was the pork w quinoa and mixed beans, veggies..... again didn't taste real bad but there was one small thin slice of pork w nothing on it ...... the best was the quinoa.... the bean mix was a little sour in taste
3rd meal was the best of the lot... cheese omelet w potato stick. this was an real eggbeater omelet w velveeta cheese inside and one hash brown stick..... this is the one meal I could eat and didn't feel like I wanted to pitch most of it.
As I look at the boxes in the frig.... I unfortunately do it w dread vs wonder...... got some frozen dinners as back up if more turn into the kind I have to toss.
I can't tell you how disappointed I am..... Darn..Darn Darn:stress::stress::stress:

Thanks to Renita for telling me about this site! I'm on my 2nd week of ediets and not too disappointed - after trying Nutrasystem and not being able to eat most of the meals - I don't find this one too bad. The oatmeal is absolutely horrible - threw both out. I'm not a big breakfast person so the muffins/cookies are fine with me. I haven't tried any of the other meal delivery programs, didn't really realize there were that many out there, but so far so good on this one. After trying so many different ways to lose weight I'm hoping this brings back the right eating habits/portion size. Good luck to all.

Cyndi, I'm getting my first order (this time around) this week. Almost all of the stuff that I ordered this week were meals that they didn't have when I was on it before (except for the muffins...those things are legends...so I did have to order a couple of them). I'll check back in after the order gets here.

Hey Guys,
There are alot of new people on board! Crenita I enjoyed most of my ediets meals and there were plenty I did stay away from. Breakfast, I love the muffins they are very good, the southwest style eggs are good, and so is the omlet with hash brown. Not a big fan of the oatmeal or the dill eggs, and the turkey pastrami is ok. For lunch I love the pizza's, goulash, wraps, kung poa chicken, mexican salad....hope I'm not forgetting anything. For dinners, the spagetti was good although the portions are very small, I absolutly love the MEATLOAF with new potatoes, they don't offer it much but when they do, check it out! The beef is pretty bad and touch, I agree with what everyone else has already said. Towards the end of my program I found myself ordering mostly pizzas because of the tough meet, quinof, and too much carrots! But all in all i give the program a 7 out of 10. I was on it for 6 weeks and lost 18 pounds. I never did recieve my free gift :( ah wells. I also learned alot about portion control. So now I'm doing my own thing basically the same as ediets (1500 calories a day). Working out so far! Good luck with the program everyone!

I was in such a rush to order and get started I didn't pay attention to cost - and now looking at what they are charging my cc it doesn't look like things are adding up. I'm doing the 7 day a week - and when I signed on they got me with the 'as low as $19.95 a day". What is everyone else paying per week? They were to have given me a credit for spilled items but have yet to see that credit applied. Since I'm new at this...do I have to hound them or are they somewhat "honest"?

Hey Guys,
I forgot to mention, if you call them and tell them you want a 15percent discount they will give you one. They only apply it to your account if you ask for it....so ask away!

KYHoney

They screwed me up for this week. I had sent them an email about possibly changing my meal service plan because I wasn't so sure that Alli was really doing me any good and it is quite expensive. They told me I had to call them to discuss this; however, in the mean time they marked all my meals as "skipped" without telling me. Therefore, I received no meals for this week and had to go buy comparable things from the grocery. It really sucked because we just moved over the weekend and I really didn't need anymore chaos. Their customer service I've found is sadly lacking.

As for the food, I try not to order anything with quinoa or carrots and definitely not the oatmeal. Some of the egg breakfasts are dry but I found spritzing them with I can't believe it's not butter spray helps some. I love the fact that I can have chocolate on this diet, that part is fantastic.

Just wanted to let y'all know that I finished up my first 3 meals. The first one was one of the pork dishes. The pork was tough and fatty, wasn't impressed at all (that's why I never ordered it when I was on it last year...same thing) but the sides were good, including the shredded carrots, which is strange cause I don't like cooked carrots, and I've heard alot of complaints about them on the ediets board. For breakfast I had the veggies, potatoes, moz cheese and eggs. I really liked this. Lunch was the 3 bean hearty stew and it was good as well. Are all of the chile/stew's this size serving? What about the potato soups? When I was on it before, the taste was great, but the serving sizes of the soups were teeny. I was surprised at this stew, cause it was a good size. BTW, they have greatly improved the snack selection. Even if you can't pick your own right now, they're still really good.

its been awhile since this thread has been updated, but i wanted to give my input. i ordered eDiets last week and recieved my first shipment yesterday! i am so excited to get started on this plan! i love how convienent the packaging is and that i dont have to think about it. i picked up a weeks worth of lowfat yogurt and cheese, as well as a bag of apples and a box of tri color grapes to supplement the plan. im obsesssive compulsive amd i love that everything is so organized in my fridge. i started eating the meals yesterday and so far i've had:

vegetarian lasagna with capri vegetables - amazing lasagna, its something i would try to recreate for friends. ive seen a lot of complaints regarding vegetables in the meals and there is nothing stopping you from spraying with a lite butterspray or molly mcbutter(if they still make that? i prefer veggies plain)

canadian bacon pizza - yum! definetly cook this in a conventional oven to make it crispy

potato skillet with turkey ham - i love this and i dont usually eat breakfast. the ham is awesome!

grilled chicken with cheesy rice and capri veggies -this chicken tastes like i just baked it - so much better than a healthy choice type dinner.

i did call custo,er service to inquire about my billing date and the rep was very helpful and courteous.

i am however going to have to skip a week b/c the billing date falls just short of my payday, so im going to have to do a clone of the plan and i dont think it will be that hard to substitute

so that has been my experience thus far! good luck everyone!

I started eDiets about 3 1/2 weeks ago and I have been on meal delivery for two weeks. So far I like most of the food, only one meal was really bad, and quite a few have been great.

At 5'2" I'm losing about 1 lb per week. I exercise every day too. I would love to "lose 10 lbs in 5 weeks" as they claim but I know this is not realistic for me. I planning to stay on eDiets meal delivery for two months and then reevaluate if its worth the cost vs. my own cooking. Hopefully by then I'll be down 8-10 lbs. So far I love it! It's so easy to stay on the plan and I love adding my own fresh fruit and non-fat dairy.

questions for other eDieters - i started logging what i eat in calories and im usually hitting between 1450-1500 but today ive finished eating my days worth of food and im at 1350. do you guys ever add anything else to your day beyond the three provided meal, 2 dairy, and 3 fruits? if you do, what type of foods are you adding? veggies, pretzels, etc? while im getting full and satiisfied with my food, there are other foods that i enjoy eating that are not making it into my diet, like nuts and grains. im just curious to see if you guys are having a similiar situation. i dont want to eat too few calories, because thats not good either..

I have to admit I cheat with a glass of wine sometimes, bad me! (and not recommended LOL ...) Because I'm middle aged, short, not that much to lose, the calorie count is fine. But I think for most people this diet is really low in calories. I think adding healthy protein would be fine. You can call and talk to one of their nutritionists too to customize for you.

shaunnamuk -- sounds like you need more than 1350 per day. I would call eDiets on monday and see what they say.

Hey Everyone!
Glad to meet others who are on ediets!
I just started, and am only on my 3rd day, but I actually like it so far, and haven't been tempted to cheat at all! Which normally when I start a new diet the first week is killer! Surprisingly I have been satisfied with ediets so far.

There was something that I didn't like, I think it was called Pork Marsala? But I just won't order it again.

I usually hate breakfast, I hate eggs, and I usually just skip breakfast completely. But I've found the muffins and the bagel halves to be really yummy! So I'll probably stick with that.

I know the portion sizes can be intimidating, but if you spread out your fruit and dairy throughout the day, it seems to be easier. I haven't had a problem with being hungry... usually if I drink a glass of water, it makes the hunger go away.

I am on the 5 day plan. I think I will be okay on the weekends off, but we'll see when that time comes!

I am hoping to lose 100 lbs on ediets! Which according to them, I can expect to lose 2 lbs a week, so I should meet my goal in a year as long as I can stick with it. *crosses fingers*

I've done Nutrisystem before, and couldn't stomach the food for long. So far ediets has proven to be way better!

Hi, 2ndstarr--I have been doing ediets for about 6 weeks and have really liked it. Once in awhile I get a meal that I just don't like, so I don't order it again. I like the 5 day plan; it gives me some flexibility. Good luck and keep us posted on how you like it.

Hey Ladies!
I just finished my first week on ediets, and I really like it! I only had 2 meals last week that I didn't like... but I'll just be sure to not order them again. I really liked everything else. It was all surprisingly good! I just wish they would let us pick our own snacks, because I hate dark chocolate!

On my days off I counted calories, and had a few lean cuisine dinners. I did pretty good on my days off too, but not quite as good as I did on my ediet days... though I am sure I'll get better :) But I actually missed the Ediets food on my days off! I can't wait to try new things this week.

Things I need to work on:
- I drink diet soda, but I need to work on drinking less of it.
- I need to start exercising

This week I lost 6 lbs!!!! yaaayyy!!!!

I know you usually tend to lose more on your first week, but hopefully I will be able to lose the expected 2 lbs per week :)

I'll report again next week!

Congrats on your success on the first week. I look forward to hearing how you are doing!

Question about ediets. So far PFFS is working well for me, but I'm already keeping my eye out for what to do next when I get bored with their food.

I can see how the substitutions work without placing an order, and I refuse to give out information unless I'm ready to go. Do they have a pull-down menu once you get "in the system"? Are subs easy to make?

jayjay77
09-22-2009, 07:36 PM
buttah -- I'm still on eDiets and still losing about 1 lb per week. I'm pretty happy overall. Substitutions are pretty easy to do. You just have to do them the Sunday before your meals ship and the shipments are on Thurs, Fri or Sat depending on which day you choose. The only drawback is at any one time there are only about 11-12 choices each for breakfast, lunch, dinner so there isn't a huge selection of substitutes. They rotate the menu on a 5 week schedule so the choices are different week to week. So far I find that I like 95% of the meals and substitute for the few I don't like.

2ndstarr
09-25-2009, 01:24 AM
Hey ladies,
Just finished my 3rd week, and I've now lost a total of 10 lbs! Feels good, but at my weight, 10 lbs isn't noticeable yet... blah!

I haven't started to exercise yet, and I still need to drink more water instead of soda. So I am going to try to work on that!

Buttah - I think ediets has a pretty good variety. I don't think you can actually see all the choices until you've officially signed up for the program, but when you do, it will show you your entire week of food for the next four weeks, and you can go through and change all of your meals to your liking. It's really easy to make the changes. The only thing you CAN'T change are the snacks... which can kinda suck sometimes, (I hate dark chocolate and I get that almost weekly) but for the most part the snacks are really yummy, and I find that they fix my junk food cravings, even though they are a healthier choice! I love the Terra Chips, and bought a whole box of them from Amazon.com for the rest of my family, and for those days that ediets sends me a snack I don't like...

I really like the food, and most of it only takes less than 2 minutes to microwave.

I thought about doing PFFS but decided to go with ediets because they were a little cheaper. BUT with ediets you do have to buy your own fruit and dairy servings, doesn't PFFS send you everything? I don't know how often ediets adds new items to their menus, but if I get bored with them, I'll probably switch. I've only been a member for about 4 weeks, so I am still going strong! Time will tell.

PFFS and Ediets are made and sent from the same location in Iowa.

Many of the Menu's items are the same products.. but the food choices on PFFS is , in my opinion, offers healthy items.. i.e brown rice, low glycemic foods and not filled with white potatoes, corn or sandwiches.. They provide Healthier snacks as well.. including fresh fruit, nuts , string cheese.. None of that is provided on ediets.. in fact the snacks are all ' what they call healthy junk food .... i.e cookies, chips, popcorn,.

So it depends on what you feel is best for you..

I have been on both plans and would give my vote to PFFS...

That's exactly what I needed to know, Crenita. I hate diets that use white starches where brown or yellow ones would do just as well or better.

However, I am starting to tire of PFFS meals. Might have to look at Bistro I guess. That's the one you've been on for a while, correct?

Just a word of warning.. Once you have Bistro all the other plans pale in compairson... the food is just soooo much better and a lot more high protein so your hunger is well under control... I just complete a stint with DTG and even though the food tasted great the calories are seriously not accurate... in fact I Gained weight on their program... .and that was suppose to be 1200 calories... Their food is tastie but large amounts of bread, potatoes and other higher carb items..
Of all the programs I have been on the best tasting and good results was the Bistro plan. There is NO bread on the plan at all.... and very few white potatoes and only when mixed with lots of veggies.. pasta is high protein low carb ..... The only thing I didn't like was their breakfasts.. but that was a personal thing for me.. Otherwise no complaints..

Just as a side note, with foods that have a lot of protein, I find it better to exercise maybe 30 minutes before eating it so it helps redefine your muscles. But don't tell noooooobody... that's my secret, haha.

Just a little update...
I am getting ready to start my 8th week, and I am down 20 lbs!!!!
I am still going strong, but I made a mistake this week, and forgot to pick out my foods, so I am getting a default menu... noooooo!!!! So this week will be hard, but I'll get through it.

I am getting a little tired of some of the selections. I can't stand all the carrots! So I am hoping they add new items to the menus soon, since I've heard they haven't done that in awhile. However, I still think I can eat the current selections for at least the rest of the year. I may try another meal delivery plan come New Years though.

Oh and, I still haven't been exercising... and I still drink a lot of pop... ooops.

But yay for results! (even though I am still wearing the same clothes, booo!!!)

2ndstarr--congrats! Sounds like you are doing very well! I am glad to see you post; sometimes I feel like the Lone Ranger with ediets. Nobody posts here, really.

Well done and keep up the good work.

Cheers,

J

Mexia, isn't that the case for any weight loss plan? Once you lose the weight, no matter if it is accomplished by calorie counting, ediets, weight watchers, etc., you have to maintain a healthy lifestyle or the weight will come back.

Does anyone know if Bistro MD is vegetarian friendly?

I tried Diet to Go twice - once last year for about a month where I lost *nothing*, despite being on the 1200 (so they say) cal veg plan (though they do frequently use white rolls/muffins, potatoes, white rice, etc, so maybe that was why no loss).

I decided to give Diet to Go another go earlier this year but only lasted a week as I found the food less than appetizing and in addition had some digestive issues from it.

Update -- I've lost 13 lbs in 5 months on eDiets. I've been averaging about 3 lbs per month but backslid a little in Oct when I went on vaca. Overall I'm happy but a bit bored with the food. I skip a delivery now and then and go back to my own cooking, but overall eDiets just makes dieting easy.

jayjay--good work! Keep it up! I agree ediets is so easy.

Greetings all!

First post ever on this board, but I have been lurking. :-) Thanks for all the information from everyone so far, guess it's my turn to contribute...

Just joined eDiets Fresh Prepared 7 day meal delivery, and I will be getting my first shipment this Friday (1/15). I am very excited! I have been doing it on my own for a bit, and there is a local meal delivery plan that I tried last week.

I liked the one that I tried, food has been more good than bad and I am losing weight (so far 5 lbs in 5 days!), but it was much more expensive than eDiets, and I was having some customer service issues. So, time to move on to something new.

My first shipment is already sent, so I can't really change the menu for this week. I am concerned about whether or not I will like the food, but I am keeping good thoughts. I was thinking of including nonfat frozen yogurt as one of my daily dairy portions, as long as it is a child's size.

The one question I was wondering was whether the veggies and sides come in separate containers, or mixed in with the main dishes. I guess I will find out soon enough, but I would love some tips from those "in the know."

So, any advice for me? What's been working, and what hasn't for those that are on this plan? Thanks for keeping this post going until I could find it! :-) I will keep you all posted (pardon the pun) on my progress.

Hi, Ness! I have been doing ediets for 6 months and have really liked it. I am getting tired of the food, though. I am switching to another meal delivery plan for a bit just to get a change. I think you will like ediets, though, and I look forward to hearing what you think and how you progress!

Cheers,

J

Hi jrmohr, thanks for the encouragement!

So, any advice for a newbie like me? May I ask which one you are switching to? It was tough choosing a plan, but I am optimistic about eDiets. I'll be sure to post about my progress as I go.

Thanks again!

My advice is that, no matter how hard it may be to stick to the program at first, do it. Stick with it. The first week or two were the hardest for me. After about a week or so, though, it becomes second nature. You will have some serious momentum at that point, which will just keep building on itself. Also, if you get to the point like me where you get bored, don't be afraid to try something else, at least for a little while.

I am switching to Diet to Go. As I said, I have really liked ediets, but I just need to have a bit of a change.

I will keep checking back here to see how you are doing. As you can probably see from the posts, it is not an active forum. I wish you the best on ediets; I think you will really be glad you did it!

Cheers,

J
