Age 50+ - Hi all.

Well , I will be 49 next week and since i am almost 50, I plan to be around here for a while, I would love to join your 50 group.

I am struggling with the number 50, and I have no idea why, maybe because I am single, maybe because of the hype??

Well I hope all you kind people can help me find myself :)

Always remember that you are more than just a number -- be it age or weight -- the whole you is what matters. As far as age goes, hey, you can be Thirty-Something forever. For example, I'm now Thirty-Thirty-Five and enjoying it just fine. So I'm sure you will manage Thirty-Twenty just fine.

Glad you found us! Gotta say - I feel better at 51 than I did at 41. Fifty is FABULOUS!!!!

Hi Icon. I'm new here too. Best wishes for happiness in the decade ahead. I'm with CountingDown -- being 54 is a lot happier for me than when I was 44 -- and 34, too!

About being single, it's not worse than being married, and vice versa -- they're just different. They each have their good points and not so good points. But if you're lonely and want to get married, I wish you happiness in your search and hope you don't ever give up, because there are so many wonderful people in the same situation.
