Default Proud of Myself

Today is the first day of my calorie counting diet. I did well during the day, but as soon as the kids left (I'm a teacher) I realized how hungry I was. I also had a caffeine headache from not drinking anything but water all day. I was very tempted to order a pizza or run into town and grab some fast food. I had to really talk to myself about it and convince myself not to do it. I even called a local place to put in a to-go order, but I told her I had a wrong number.

Instead, I came home, drank a mini-soda and cooked dinner. I had a pretty good dinner, and now I feel better because I didn't cave in. And I have enough calories left to have a small snack!

Yay!

Congratulations!! That's such great progress!

And now you know that you get hungry after classes are over for the day so you can plan around it. And never have to call that wrong number again.

That's so fantastic!

That's awesome, that is EXACTLY what you need to do in situations like that. I eat frequently to try and control those same urges, myself. Great job :].

Thanks for the support guys! I know I'm new here, but part of the reason I did so well today is because I thought of all of you on this board.
