Default Hi, sort of a Newbiee

Hello. I'm (Irish)Sarah and I am sort of a Newbie. Once upon a time (and one less baby ago) I joined the boards but didn't post too much.

I am hoping for a new start and I have plenty of weight to loose and I need all the help I can get.

A brief bio:

I am 33, married to DH for almost 14 years
We have 4 INCREDIBLE sons ages 9, 6, 3 and 5 months
Our oldest has some special needs (an autism spectrum disorder)..plenty of stress there.
I've gained all this weight over the past 10 years. It started with a really bad skiing accident, then, while pregnant with DS#1, I got hit by a car. I was put on bedrest for 8 months and that's when all the weight REALLY started sneaking up on me. I've also been on antidepressants for years (starting to get off of them now) and that certainly didn't help. I was also diagnoised with hypothyroid. Again, didn't help.

So now, I am trying to reclaim ME. I love my boys and don't want to be the fat Mom that embarrasses them. I want to be that hottie my DH fell for (and some of his friends too ) but most of all, I want to be able to go into a store, pick up a pair of jeans...KNOWING what size I am, be able to put them on without tears, "support wear" or anything else and be able to wear a NORMAL t-shirt with them. I want to be DONE with the maternity shirts to hide the belly, but and thighs. (That was quite a run-on!)

So anyway, that is me in a nutshell. I hope you will allow me to post when I can and be part of the gang. Thanks.

150 is mine in 2009!!!! (Yeah, I know...it is corny but it helps when I chant this every now and then)

We should buddy up! I am also 33, I only have 1 son (13 months old) and I hear everything that you are saying about clothing. 4 kids is amazing, so being active must not be an issue. I feel like I am running all over the place with a 1 year old. I work full time and it is hard to stay behind a desk for 9 hrs. a day. Hey if you want to buddy up, drop me a PM.
