Default The Curious Case Of Invisible Weight (Loss)

Funny Story.

I just returned back to school for the holidays and one of the first things I hear is "wow you have lost some weight". Soooooooooo not true. During the Holidays I was like cookie monster, eating everything up (not something to be proud of, but hey it happened).

When I first got home I had already gained some weight back, and my family told me that I had lost some weight too.

So according to the people around me I have lost weight but I know I gained, and my clothes feel a bit more snug.

Either people are being very nice or I need to stay in hiding.

Absence makes my waist line look smaller? lol.

Does anyone else have those moments?

This has actually happened to me before too. I'm wondering if you had lost weight in your face, so you look thinner there and that's what most people notice first. Even though your pants feel tight now (water weight maybe) they may be seeing a thinner face. Just a thought. Anyway, don't worry about the holiday gain-you know what to do and it'll come back off!

Yeah, people notice at weird times. Also, sometimes we look smaller but the scale fails to reflect it...annoying, but it happens.

congrats on the compliments!
