Hey girls,

We just have to make it through 3 more days till Friday!! ;) I am very tired today, as you can probably tell by the thread. I didn't go to bed till almost 1am, and I am supposed to get up at 5:30 (woke up a little late today!). I share a bathroom with a roommate (who I can't stand BTW) and she is a teacher, so I can't wait till she's done with school and I can sleep in a bit later. 5:30 is just not a natural time for people to be up! Unless they haven't gone to bed yet  I think my problem is that I spend a lot of time with people who don't work the traditional 9-5, like restuarant folks, so they don't understand my pain! Ok, enough rambling about that.

Eating-wise I did pretty well yesterday, if you don't count the 5 pints of miller lite I had. I know the majority of my extra calories comes from beer - which probably seems pretty foolish to a lot of people - but I just can't give up my social life! I did go out for mexican food for cinco de mayo on Sunday, and as much as I love those frozen strawberry margaritas, I just had a miller lite instead. Those frozen drinks can be deadly! Like 500 calories a pop! I'd rather eat chips and salsa. Anyway, baby steps, right? I didn't get to the gym last night, so I'll be looking forward to going tonight and running a few miles. I haven't quite eased myself into the lifting yet - I need to feel comfortable in my gym before doing that.

Belle, I do love to swim actually! I used to be on a swim team in the summers growing up. I'm sure I'll hit the hotel pool at some point, just not sure if it will be the type that I can do laps in. I'm going to try to bring some workout clothes just in case. There really is no excuse for me to not fit in at least one workout.

Lori, a triathalon sounds great! I thought about doing that myself at some point, but I'm in the same boat with needing to buy equipment. It's crazy how much exercise can cost once you buy all the special extras.

Stacey, same thing with eating healthy...expensive! It's worth it in the long run though. My swimsuit challenge is going allright, but I haven't been sticking 100% to my goals. I really need to take my measurements - I'll add that to the list of things I need to do tonight.

Winter, I have been going through dentist torture myself lately! I can't remember the last time I went there and only needed one appointment. They just keep finding more work to do. I also thing I'm going to have to give the lets be friends talk to someone too - but it's just so hard for me. The thing is, I really DO want to be friends with him and be able to still do stuff together.

Ok, well I'd better get to work, lots to be done today. Hi to everyone else.

Hi Lexy (and everyone else!)

Glad to see you are making it to the gym today, the hardest part is just getting there!! I would give your date the "friends" speech, if you have no sparks, then move on!! Nothing wrong with staying friends though!

I am feeling better today, now I just have a rotten cold, but my throat and chest feel so much better.

Unfortunetly, I have all day training today, and will be stuck in a computer lab from 9-4 p.m. today. What fun....

Work is so quiet!! It is like the students have already left!! Oh well, gives me more time to goof off and post to all of you!!

I have been staying OP, but I must say that in the last two days I haven't been feeling well I have only eaten a malt, a salad, and stirfry. I will be better today, and I hope to walk on my treadmill tonight. Plus, I have to vacuum and clean up the house, I have been letting it go a bit.

Wel, better check my email before class....I hope to be able to log on during class and chat with you all, if not, I will talk to you all after class....:D

Well, I have been a busy girl. I leave on Thursday for Vegas and I can't wait to get away for a bit. I will miss my Emma tho. Our September vacation we are bringing her with so it won't be as bad. I miss my little angel all the time, even when I am at work!!! Had the HORRID wedding on Saturday and it really was horrid. Saw MIL last night and she was very cold to me. It really hurt my feelings. Everyone was drunk at the wedding, even FIL threw up. It was pathetic. We left after a couple dances.

Hey Lexxy!!! I hate living with women. We can be such pains in the butt!!!

Hey to everyone else out there lurking!!!!

Hi girls! Sorry I was missing yesterday. Busy, busy day. I wrote about a triple murder, another murder and a dead body found off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Pretty unusual for this neck of the woods.

Anyway, just wanted to pop in and say hi before I have a meeting. And to say ... the bathing suit I ordered from Lands End came yesterday ... and it looks hideous. I guess I'll send it back, but I can't bear to order a bigger size. So guess I'll just hang onto the tired blue one I have. I hate this!

Whoops, gotta go! Be back later.

Hey girls, I haven't posted since some time last wk. . I am preparing for our chart audit :^: It is seriously such a pain in the butt. I have been doing paperwork and updating charts for wks now and it is down to the wire. I guess I just feel a bit quilty posting etc due to the fact that are funding is based upon a lot of my charts :( Ok well not really there are other factors but Mine is one of the programs that are being audited. I am a bit nervous. B/f keep assuring me that I will do well but it is just so stressful.

Ok the upside to my life is that I have lost 4 pds . So the swimsuit challenge is going well. In the past 4 days I have worked out for 3 of them :) It improves my energy level and my mood so much I am not sure why I avoid it sometimes. Tonight (depending on the weather) I plan to rollerblade. I love love love rollerblading so much:D We are just having a rainy Mich. week so we will see.

On the wedding front. My ring STILL has not come in:mad: I thought b/f was just holding off on giving it to me until his mom told my sister that it is not in. So still am not officially engaged I guess. We did set a date however. We are seriously doing things a bit backwards but that is fine with me. Anyways March22nd or 21st depending on whether or not we do a Friday eve wedding. I think I would like to but who knows. Anyways I seriously think that having the date in place is helping me be focussed with my weight. I have appx 10 months and could easily be at goal if I take it a couple of pds at a time.

Girls what are you opinions Friday or Saturday and what are the positive negatives??????

I hope to be able to read all of my missed posts and respond but I don't know if I will have time :( Work is such a downer. It totally gets in the way of my social life:s:

Jen-Vacation, I am sooooo Jealous! Have so much fun!

Tonya- YOu are so determined lately I am seriously inspired when I read your posts. You are totally doing it a couple of pds at a time which is what I need to focus on. Hope you are feeling better soon !

Lexxy- Sorry about the roommate. I had the worst one in college. Boy could I tell stories, however they gross me out and I really don't want to relive the hideous memories of that first roomate.

Have wonderful OP days ladies. I will try and post again and see your opinions on the wedding day(fri. or sat.).

Kim- WE were posting at the same time. OK so you are sooooo brave. Your job scares me when you talk about it I can't imagine doing it! Such a millenium woman:strong: Sorry about the b-suit. I am not even going to attempt that right now. SCARY:ink:
Don't sweat it though. There is still time to lose and I always get more comfortable about the swimsuit thing when it is warmer and I have a bit of a tan.

Hello everyone, it's been about a week since I've posted too I think. It's been so crazy busy for the last week, and now all of a sudden there's not so much to do. I graduated Saturday (yay me!), and so now I'm on the job-hunt.

As far as exercising/eating goes... not so good for the last week. I think I had one good day all week. But this week I'll be more settled down, have more time to work out (man, I'm bored), and I will get back on track! As long as the boredom doesn't translate into eating-time...

Somewhere over the past three weeks I did manage to lose 3 pounds, so it's going... I just haven't been able to really weigh myself for a while, so I"m not sure when I lost it. The weight came off so fast at first, and it's slowed down now. Of course, that wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that I eat more and work out half as much as I did at first, now would it;)

Hello lexxy, jenl, tonya, kim, grace. Happy to see there's some people out here:)

Hello to all.

Well, after yesterdays bizarre blizzard it is gorgeous and sunny here today - YAY! I get to go riding after work! It's much easier now that it's not getting dark until 8pm or so and we don't have rush to get done before the sun sets. Some nights we are even leaving the horses out all night (saves on stall cleaning)

Jen - so sorry the wedding was bad. Vegas won't be I'm sure.

Star (Angie) - congrats on the loss - and the graduation - now good luck with the job hunt.

Grace(it's Rina isn't it? i've been gone so long) - the ring will get in eventually - Friday - I say go for it. You can get away with a smaller wedding if you do it in the evening, people who are coming a distance get both Saturday and Sunday to travel back or take time off and if it's when you want to do it - go for it. Saturday weddings take the whole weekend. for people who have to go back to work on Monday, it's nicer to have sunday to recoup. I've got 2 weddings this summer and both are on Saturday and I will be taking off Friday and monday for both of them just to be around to set up and clean up and all that wedding stuff and then be able to relax on sunday. Just my 2 cents.

Hi everyone else - internet police are back from their meeting.

Take Care
KT

My 2 cents about wedding dates... I prefer Saturday just because I think more people will be able to attend if they don't have to take off of work on Friday to travel to the wedding.
