Default I bought an elliptical today!

I'm very excited . It's a Horizon CSE 3.5 Elliptical Trainer. I bought it used on Craigslist so I got a really good deal on it. It's in the garage right now because it was raining when we brought it home & it was really wet (we covered the console with a tarp). This will give me a good workout here at home. I know it's silly, but I just don't want to go the the ymca to work out until I can actually get through a group class without stopping every 5 minutes to rest ---I'm soooooo out of shape. Also, I'm too fat for my workout clothes . Hopefully by the end of January I'll have worked up to that & lost enough to get into my clothes again. Last time I lost a bunch of weight (before I got pg with ds3), I lost an inch in my waist for every 10 lbs. I think that's an attainable goal for January. I really want to try out the Y's zumba classes--they look really fun.

Congrat's on the elliptical Amy! I exercised at home on my treadmill for almost a year before I ventured out. What are Zumba classes?

Lucky you! Have fun on the elliptical.

DH bought me 4 Zumba classes for Christmas - I am so excited to try them out. I love dancing, but I don't have any kind of style, so this should be fun!

The description of Zumba from my Y is: Zumba is a cardiovascular workout that uses Latin-inspired dance moves set to international music. I don't have enough posts to add a link . There are lots of examples on youtube & it looks really fun.

Go, Amy! I love the elliptical and how easy is it going to be to get in your cardio while you're watching TV or similar?

Wish I had the space for some exercise equipment, but my house is too small, alas!
