Hi Everyone,

A friend recently gave me a new kind of tea to drink to help with my joint pain and I was wondering if anyone else out there has ever tried it. It is called Yogi Tea. It has turmeric and yucca in it for joints and Cat's claw and Devil's claw for better circulation. I have really bad arthritis and am currently taking Enbrel and Methotrexate for it but even that dosen't always help with all of the pain so i was thinking every little bit helps. Its hard to lose weight when you can't work out because you are so sore. My only problem with the tea is that I don't love the way it tastes:barf: or maybe its the smell that really gets to me. It smells like Italian seasoning and while I like that on my chicken, I don't like it as much in my drinks. I am willing to get past that though if anyone out there has had success with it.

I've had some of the Yogi Teas, but I don't think one that has that in it. :) Have you tried adding sweetener? If it's just too savory of a tea, maybe you could think of it as a bouillon and drink it with soup or a sandwich?

Jennifer's post gave me an idea: what about adding 1 tsp of some kind of bouillion crystals to it; and drinking it as a cup-a-soup. You could try chicken or beef. Or, would that just make it worse? hmmm ... :lol:

I like to drink the peach detox yogi tea ..
that is the brand I usually try. some have tasted good and some not so good.

i have never tried that tea... but it sounds like a definite SOUP or seasoning tea. There's a book called TEA CUISINE by Joanna Pruess that uses tea in cooking. :)

I have been googling and found some of these things to be healpfull..

Beneficial Dietary Supplements

Personally I love the yogi teas, and drink one cup of the detox every two weeks. I know they don't taste the best but plug your nose, tip you head back and go? Lol

I like the yogi teas, i've tried several, though they were all a bit strong. I like my teas strong though, and I suppose you could always try watering them down a bit. Haven't tried that one though, I don't think.

i just bought the yogi pomegrante and green tea and gogiberryand green tea, LOVE THEMBOTH! I like myteas strong too
