I am fairly new here and maybe this has already been posted or maybe I am the only one that finds this programming inspirational, but even if just one other person finds it helpful:

January 5th - 10 EST - Lifetime - Diet Tribe
January 6th - NBC - New Biggest Loser Season

Week of January 5th each night - Discovery Health Channel - Weight Loss Challenge Episodes

I love watching shows about weight issues. I missed Biggest Loser this season but I did watch the first episode last night and I do love me some Bob, even though he would make me cry. I am really happy it will be starting soon again. I do wish I could get my brother to go on the show with me!!

TLC and Discovery Health have tons of shows about weight loss. I was watching the Brookhaven hospital one, where the most overweight patients go to live and lose weight. This coming Thursday on TLC they have 3 shows that night about people who weigh half a ton.

I LOVE watching the Biggest Loser. The difference in the contestents each week is just remarkable and the workouts they do....wow. I haven't heard about Diet Tribe either. Do you know what it's about?

Hey I just found this about that new show Diet Tribe.

“DietTribe” is Lifetime’s new reality series that follows the emotional journey of five friends as they attempt to go from “fat” to “fit.” These women have made a commitment to lose their unwanted pounds together. With the help of professional fitness trainer Jessie Pavelka and psychotherapist Stacy Kaiser (of “Celebrity Fit Club” fame), each woman will change her eating and exercise habits over the course of three months and confront the issues that caused her to gain weight initially.

Thanks for posting. I love to watch before and after weight loss shows.

Haven't heard of diet tribe, but will set the DVR for it.

Also, watched the Half Ton (Mom, Dad, and Teen) shows last night. Wow. I fluctuate between feeling so bad for the people involved and how hopeless they must feel, to being very angry with the enablers especially the mom of the teen.
