These are my goal photos. My highest weight photo, I am trying to smile but what a blob of misery I felt like.

I am including a young photo of myself to remind myself that not all of my life was I obese. It seems the struggle was endless. I learned much from this and other forums. Thanks for all who share the struggle and good luck to everybody to attain your goal in 2009!

Yowza! What a beautiful woman. Just as pretty as when you were young and absolutely gorgeous hair. Don't you dare dye it. I've got white streaks forming around my face now and I like them. I know it means my hair will be all white some day, but right now it's like deliberate streaking. As long as you don't mind the maintenance and you are not dealing with excessive thinning, I see no reason to cut it. It's very youthful, but does not look too young on you. You just look hot! I look forward to the day I get to be a clothes horse again.

Oh and I love seeing the younger versions of us old farts. :D

:thanks: and I feel younger too! I was pre-diabetic, had sleep apnea and heart palpitations and suffering from depression in 2003. It was the lowest point and I (like Oprah) weighed more than the boxing heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. :devil:

True to all that. I have more energy to keep up with my younger friends who like camping and hiking as I do! In fact most of my friends are younger because sadly, my family and same age friends are couch potatoes.
