I'm in. I just calculated what I have been jogging, and it would be a little over 1200 miles, but giving myself some days off, 1000 would be do-able.

Oh fun! I'm running 9 miles a week right at the moment, so with some increases in mileage as I improve, I might just make 500 miles for the year! I'm in.

I think I will change my 300 mile walk to a 500 mile combination of walking, elyptical, treadmill and running with the Wii Fit. Thanks for the idea Dollypie

Cool! I'm in! I am training for a half marathon (my second) in May and I'm going to enter the lottery for the NYC full marathon as well.

You know...I really wanted to run the NYC midnight race tonight but DH won't drive into the city tonight for anything (kinda don't blame him) but I just may put on my headlamp and go out for a midnight run in my neighborhood to start 2009 off right! Wooohoooo!!!

Ready or not, tomorrow is the 1st!
I actually got sick Friday, so haven't been running. I got out and did 1.5 miles (I usually run 3) this morning
I hope I get back up to speed before too long! But you know I'll be out there one way or another.

Count me in! I'm a new runner so I'll have to walk/run the 1000 miles, but I'd love to try it! I biked 1500 miles in 2005! See you at the finish line!
