Exercise! - 30 Days shered from January 5 to Feb 7

Who's with me? I want to star on January 5 to February 7 ,from monday to Saturday ... no Sunday, we need a rest..... who is whit me .

Post your starting measurements and weight by January 5 , post each day you are done whit it. let us know which day are you and which level you are.

there will be 30 days so you can take Sundays or your convenience day off, 1 day off a week!

I'll post my measurements january 4 morning.

we will be measure again in January 21 it will be 15 days done 15 days to go. To see how are we doing.

I'm brand spankin new to this site but would love take part in the challenge! I've put the DVD on hold at my local borders and will be picking it up tomorrow (along with a tape measure to take my measurements).

I'M IN! i've already started actually. i did level 1 of the workout and it was HARD!! i'll get my stats and post them tomorrow. i'm excited about this i felt great after, evan though i was dieing during the workout and it was only LEVEL 1!!!:dizzy:

I picked up this DVD on New Years Eve. I've done it everyday since Thursday. On Friday and Saturday my thighs hurt soooo bad. It hurt to sit down or to go up steps. It does get better though, today I'm not really sore at all. I've had some problems with my knees so I started out not jumping at all, I modified jumping jacks, jump roping and butt kicks with a step. Although last night I tried some of them with jumps, maybe I'll get to the point I feel I can jump through all of it but not now.

I did not think about measurments, I'll do that tonight.

Okay girls I just found this thread and happen to have actually bought the dvd tonight at wal-mart.I am so in. Starting today.

I'm in for this. =] Just got the video & I'm hoping to get day 1 done today, I'll check back in & let you know. ;) I can't technically weigh in Feb 7th, as I'm in the "Loving the Skin I'm in" challenge, which means no weighing until Feb 14th!!! I will however do measurements & then update that at the end of the 30 day period. Maybe I'll have my gf look at the scale for me & write down my weight. C'mon, we can do this! Day one done.

It wasn't as hard as I though it would be. I would have struggled if there had been more cardio though. Great workout and now my legs feel like Jello!

Day two is done. Not as bad as yesterday. I did better with the cardio today than yesterday. Hopefully I wont be as sore tomorrow when I wake up! I honestly can not wait for tomorrow! TAE BO HAS NEVER WORKED ME AS HARD AS THIS HAS! ^_^

My GF & I both did day one L1 today, & I was sweating buckets & pails.
I've never sweated this much from a workout video!
I haven't even sweated this much from kickboxing class..

I'm doing well. My thighs hurt more than I EVER remember them hurting...but I'm sticking with it. My 25th wedding anniversary is on the 18th of next month, so that's my focus. (Even if my husband will be away at work. .. He'll see the results when he gets back ;))
Congratulations, wfonseca on your successes. Tickers moving along are always good. :) I should earn mine in a few days. Are you seeing/feeling results from Shred? BTW~ do you have a plan to work through the levels? I'm thinking I'll push myself (in true Jillian spirit) as much as possible...those push ups KILL me...I'm SO weak! :( Don't want to carry on...but appreciate your post. Thanks.

So not that but.... My first week I did ok, but the second one I just did two times , mis knee , was killing me.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to send out an encouraging post to tell you to keep up with it! I have been doing the 30 day shred since Nov. 2008. I have lost 75 lbs. and tons of inches. So believe me it works! I just cut down on my snacking and carbs. I also walk when I get the chance. Good luck, can't wait to see the results!

Level 1 Day 6 down!! I'm also incorporating the Yoga Booty Ballet for an additional workout / cardio. I'm tempted to skip to Level 2 but figure if I am going to do this I might as well finish the 10 days before moving ahead.

Sorry to report that, no, I did not get in my exercise today (just walks with the dog) - went shopping this morning & hubby came home for lunch which disrupted the rest of my afternoon (I know, excuses excuses, I could be exercising right now if I really wanted to, but guess what??...I'm just too tired)

... will definitely get in exercises in the afternoon after son returns to school from lunch hour!

I couldn't do all of the push-ups and I had to catch my breath during one of the sets of jumping jacks.

I was feeling bored with Level 1 after completing Day 7 so I tried the Level 2 tonight-----definitely more of a challenge. All of the plank movements are pretty tough so I'm looking forward to this.

I admit I even silently cursed Jillian a couple of times during the workout!

I'm still having trouble with doing all of the push-ups. I have absolutely no upper-body strength.

So, I've literally been only at the campus library for the past 5 days because I'm being overwhelmed by homework. :(

Unfortunately, I honestly have no time, so I stopped the 30 days..

HOWEVER, I'm determined to get back on track with my homework. So, after I do that I'll start over on the 30 Day Shred. :^:

I've been doing well on my diet during all this stress though, so that's something..

Thanks for checking in Melody...Best wishes with the school work! Congrats on making good food choices. If you can't exercise, then at least you keep things in check with food moderation. (Stress typically drives me to eat!)

It's Day 13 for me. Looking for that midway point...:) My friend on another site says it looks like Jillian and I are good friends. (Not sure I'd go that far! :) That first cardio circuit still kills me. Can't believe I let myself get this out of shape!

^^ Wow I'm impressed with your endurance and perseverance with this. I couldn't make it past level 1 haha - I don't know if it was her fierce face glaring at me or just that it never seemed to get past painful. I ventured onto other less agonising dvd's eventually. Looo-ooser, I know!

So, the stress finally got to me, and I started eating really badly. :(

I'm still very far behind on my homework, but I should be able to give 30 minutes of my day. Right?

So, that means.. *drum roll*.. I'm starting it again tonight! :carrot:

I think this will help me with my stress too. Instead of worrying about all of the reading and studying I should be doing, I'll be able to have that half an hour where I'm only thinking about my body and what I should do for it.

No more excuses..

And forme01, you're doing so well! Keep up the great work! I'll be doing my best too. :hug:
