Thanks 3FC for my first really IN CONTROL holiday season
My sad little tradition is to eat everything that crosses my path from Halloween til New Years Resolution time.
Thanks to the inspiration I've gotten here, plus the great tip about Fitday.....I've been totally in control so far! Not that I haven't eaten some decidedly un-diety food but always accounted for it and moderated it.
You know what? IT'S SO MUCH MORE FUN THAT WAY. I don't miss the over indulging.
And as a bonus to the weight loss, I find myself more organized in general, with all the holiday shopping and errands, and much less freaked out about what usually stresses me (sending gifts to the inlaws, getting the house ready for my family's holiday dinner etc.)
It's like EVERYTHING is more together when the food and exercise is happening; when I "don't have time" for it, everything else is more chaotic!
