Unhappy the binging is catching up....

I'm actually starting to get scared. Can binging do permanent damage to your stomach? Every evening that I binge the next morning is TERRIBLE!!!! Well lately I've been trying not to binge in the evenings (or at all!!!) and I feel exactly the same way in the morning. I really have to stop this!!! Anyone else experiencing awful stomach pains even after not binging?

Binging can do permanent damage to your body. What do you mean when you say "binge"? What are you eating and how much of it? And by "terrible" do you mean you're in pain the next morning or are you throwing up or do you have bathroom issues?

I would say it would be an average binge, bag of chips and dip, box of cookies etc. By pain I mean my stomach hurts, I cannot move without feeling like hurling as well as "bathroom issues" I've always had a sensitive stomach and was sick (flu, throwing up etc.) alot when I was younger, maybe this is just provoking it...

a few months ago a had a major binge that gave me such severe "bathroom" issues i ended up in the emergency room several days after the binge and it took a week to get better. Go to the doc to make sure its nothing else. Keep up the not binging and you should feel better in a few days.

I get like that when I eat after 7. Kind of keeps me in check for the most part, but then sometimes I know the next day is going to be horrible.

I'd say go to a doctor with it. It does not necessarily have to be related to binging (it does not sound like you eat so much that it must cause trouble, however it is of course possible). But it is also very well possible that you have a stomach problem that has nothing to do with your binging, for example an ulcer or just an irritated stomach. Waking up sick and with pain each morning is not normal. Go see a doctor about it!
