General chatter - What is something that nobody could possibly know about you?

Ok, so it doesn't have to be something HUGE - it can be as little as your favourite brand of mineral water, the kinds of pets you have or as big as being in love with someone who doesn't know it yet.

This thread is here for entertainment and getting to know our fellow 3FCers a little better.

I'll go first.

Something nobody on 3FC could possibly know about me is... I have never tried squash.

So... What is something that nobody on here could possibly know about you?

I actually successfully pierced my own nose. I had friends who worked in tat/piercing places, so I knew how as far as placement/angle...

I did it when I was 21 years old, when I was still working in the hair/nail industry. I mentioned doing it, and someone said "You won't do it." I am extremely stubborn, so that was all I needed. I went into the bathroom, and came out 10 minutes later with a stud in my nose. I am now 33, and 12 years later...it's still there. I have lots of nose jewelry, too. :D

As far as something people couldn't possibly know about me...I had bright blue eyes when I was a child-all the way through elementary school. When I started hitting puberty, my eye color changed. Now they are categorized as hazel...but they have 3 rings of color-amber/golden ring around the pupil, an aqua ring around that, and finally, the outer rim of my eyes is gray.

actually, coroners don't have to work with bodies all that much- just ok the crime scene for removal of the body and work on all the office work that has to do with the case. You'd probably get used to blood after a while! I heard about a coroner from Michigan who actually got elected when she was 18, based on no experience besides watching CSI!

Aphil and Mazza- that eye thing is really interesting! My mom has gone a little overboard doing cleanses and such (like to the dangerous point), but her eye color has completely changed from really dark brown to light green! She's convinced she was supposed to be born with blue eyes but since her mom was a drinker she was born with too many toxins. Interesting stuff... but she didn't exactly go about it in a good way.

Schumeany- I looove anderson cooper! Those pretty blue eyes.... haha

The only things I can think of that no one could possibly know about me are bad... not sure if I wanna post them.
Okay, this one is kinda bad, but very honest. I've never been very permiscuous, but one night I got sooo drunk and slept with this friend of mine who is actually kinda a man whore. I didn't tell anyone, but of course he went around bragging so everyone found out! I told them all I didn't remember because I was too drunk (it was hazy, but I definitely remember). I pretended to be totally shocked when someone asked me about it. I feel really bad because they all believed me, so that means they trust and respect me and I totally lied to everyone, including him!

Before church, my dad always shaved. As a kid, I wanted to be like my dad. I didn't have any facial hair to shave, though, so when I was 8 years old, I shaved my eyebrows off instead.

mazza - my dad laughed and my mom freaked out, then proceeded to cut little snippets from the hair on my head and precisely glued it to where my eyebrows previously were!

I am the same way on the  vs :o thing - I just really want them to think I'm awesome/funny/entertaining and end up coming off as silly, cocky, weird, or just plain smug depending on the person/situation :( Then, I repeat the situation in my head until I torture myself wondering what the other person thought, asking myself, "Why couldn't I have just... been... well... me?"

Aphil - Bizarre - you just described my eyes. I've never met anyone else with the same weird gold/amber, teal/blue outer ring, gray outside that. Mine were blue until I was 8. How strange!

Speaking of shaving stories, when I was 4 or 5, my dad shaved off his beard. When he came home, I REFUSED to believe it was him and screamed my head off whenever he came near me. I screamed that he was a stranger and that I wanted my daddy. I wouldn't let him touch me until it started growing back.

He didn't significantly change his beard again until I was 25.

I have a disturbing shaving story...it's disturbing to me anyway! I was nearly THIRTEEN when I started shaving my legs. All of my friends had been doing it for at least a couple of years, but my mom thought I was too young. (Maybe that's why I am such a prude?) But that summer, I was staying with my dad and was planning to go swimming. Well, the hair on my legs matched the hair on my head - dark brown - and I was too embarrassed to go. So I called my mom and asked permission to shave! She said yes. And you know? I don't think I would have done it if she'd said no!!

Oooo, you people are mean!!! I tell you my deepest, darkest secret...about Anderson Cooper...and you tell me he's GAY! OK, so I already figured he was gay because he never gets linked to anyone by the media, male or female, but still...I think he's hot. Hot, gay man...so sue me. :)

OK, so since my LAST secret ended up a big dud, here is my next one: I am the daughter of a retired US diplomat, and when I was fifteen I was staying at a resort in the Cloud Mountains of Nicaragua and I got shot at, with a machine gun spraying tracer bullets, while playing hide and seek in the rain forest with some friends from school. We never found out if it was the Contras or the Sandanistas who shot at us, but we had to crawl back to the hotel on our stomachs, while glowing red bullets ripped the palm leaves above our heads to shreds.

So that is probably a better secret than Anderson Cooper anyway...although technically, I'm not sure it should actually count, because my husband knows about it and so do my family.

when i was about 4 years old and learning to bathe on my own, my parents left me in the bath for a moment. i decided to shampoo my hair.... with the shampoo in the pretty pink bottle! unfortunately for me, i had not yet learned to read, nor did i have any understanding what NAIR would do if you shampoo'd with it........ my mom smelled it from the other room and came running in. she rinsed and combed and rinsed and combed over and over and over.... i lost hair in chunks but thankfully it all grew back!!!!!!!!

lets see... what else...
i feel more at home sitting in my parked car alone than at home itself. i have a pillow and blanket in the car and frequently will take whatever book i'm reading and change into my PJs and drive to a deserted place to sit in my car and read. my favorite is parking lots by the beach late at night.

i used to teach lap dancing classes. yep, formal workshops with folding chairs and all. :) private lessons and group lessons. i actually was quite successful with it!

oh! and nobody but my boyfriend knows i got my bum tattooed!!!! it looks like a stamp! it says "made in the usa. limited edition. copyright 1983. satifaction guaranteed."

luvja - I am pretty sure that the first boy I ever was more than friends with turned out to be gay, too ! I was in 8th-9th grade and he had all the signs, but I knew nothing about that back then. He had highlights, was into theatre, did tap dancing and ballet, had "limp wrist syndrome", had vocal intonations when he spoke, loved watching chick flicks, all his friends were girls, never, ever had a girlfriend, said he could never tell if a girl was hot lookin' but was always able to instantly point out when a guy was hot, was a mama's boy (the kind who baked muffins with his mama and dragged her to our first date ), was obesssed with his weight and overall physical appearance... oh, the list goes on and on and on! I would be VERY surprised if he was sincerely straight. I have no idea what happened to him, but I sure hope he came out of the closet! ;)

Schumeany - WOW! That bullet story is AMAZING!!

mazza - does anyone ever make Harry Potter remarks about your scar?

I have more secrets. Perhaps some of these are juicy:
I can't dance. I have no rhythm. BUT I secretly wish I could MOVE like no other.

I have done modeling in the past and I think I look better in pictures than I do in real life.

I'd love to be considered sexy but fear that I am only sexy until I open my mouth - then, the sexy quickly morphs into "dorky cute" because I am animated like a cartoon character and too "funny" to be truly sexy

I am a dirty old man magnet and I have no idea why.

I want to break up with my girlfriend, but I feel obligated to stay until she finishes school. I'm terrified of hurting her, but I know she ultimately is not right for me. And when I'm drunk, I flirt with other people. :o I'm also more straight than I am gay - sometimes marginally so, sometimes by a landslide (yup - can't make up my mind and don't care to! "pick one" is SO overrated!)

I don't like going number two in public restrooms. I'm afraid of stinkin' up the joint and not being courteous of others. I'm also afraid of *plop plop plop* and walking out of the stall and seeing someone just standing there waiting to use it. AND I don't want anyone associating POOP with ME  I used to hate having strangers hearing me pee, but I got over that because sometimes I need to pee seriously every 15 minutes and/or for really long periods of time.

I pace when I talk on the phone, and you can tell how comfortable I am with the person on the other end by how quickly I'm moving. If it's my mom or dad, I'll wander leisurely; if it's someone I don't really know, I'll practically sprint laps around the living room... and everyone else falls somewhere in between. My husband hates it and tries to make me sit while I talk, so I end up making most of my phone calls in the bedroom with the door closed. :o

Another fact you didn't know: I edited this post because there wasn't enough variety in my punctuation. :)

I was married right out of high school, then divorced. I'm secretly scared to death to get married again. I want to be with my guy forever, but the thought of marriage freaks me out. We're Christian and can't just "be together" forever.
Another relationship secret; I feel like my family doesn't take my bf seriously... I've been with him longer than I was with my ex... but since we're not married I feel like they disregard him. His family's a different (better) story, I feel more welcome with them than my own family.

At the time I was using heavy drugs (I was younger, about 21 maybe) and ended up terminating the pregnancy out of fear that I had done damage to the child before I found out I was pregnant. Still to this day he believes it was kid. I feel SUPER BAD because I know it bothers him, but how do I tell him after all this time? This was 5 or 6 years ago.... I'm evil huh? That is a pretty crappy thing to do to someone... :-(

My friend's child is diabetic. We went to a huge benefit in NYC, which she had organized. The Jonas Brothers played the benefit. This was 2 years ago. My friend was so thrilled with herself for the coup of getting the Jonas Brothers. I had no idea who they were. Little girls were swooning for them. I thought they were too darn loud!!

I used to get harry potter remarks when I was younger and the scar was more obvious and defined - but time has aged it, and warped it somewhat so that it's no longer a semi - perfect vertical pink line.. more of an inconvenient, slightly diagonal, slope.

Shopaholic, I was a teeny bopper back then, too! I LOVED boy bands in middle school and got 5th row seats to a BSB concert and 2nd row seats to NSync! I did the cheesy typical teenage girl thing and kissed my posters... :o

During my early teens, I thought I'd always be that unattractive girl with the great personality... until I turned... 15...ish. Then, my visual popularity got to my head and I became quite the conceited witch. I continued being full of myself until I gained 50 pounds.

Now that I've lost those 50 pounds, I'm trying to make sure I never become that person again. MAN was she annoying!

mazza - "dude what happened to your face"??! People are SO RUDE sometimes! It's sort of like how I have a tall friend (6'7") and in addition to obvious gawking, people also come up to him and say, "DUDE, you're TALL!!!"
I've gotten dirty looks from old and conservative folks because I have facial piercings, but no one has ever said anything derogatory. I DO hear *points to one of my piercings* "Did that hurt??" quite often, though!

Shopaholic1204

I think facial piercings are hot. I'm gonna get something pierced soon. Just cant make up my mind of what I want, lol.

I've been pretty confident with myself, cuz I always had boyfriends tell me I was so sexy and hot. I'm kinda afraid to lose weight because I dont want my butt & boobs to get smaller. Thats pretty shallow huh? I'm afraid my hubby wont find me attractive if I lose those. He loves my booty.

My husband hates it and tries to make me sit while I talk

OMG, I do the exact same thing. Except it's not really pacing, it's doing laps around the kitchen table. If I'm on for a really long time I have to reverse direction, otherwise I get dizzy :dizzy:

It used to drive my Mom absolutely nuts when I would do that. Although, I don't remember where I used to wander at my Mom's house - the kitchen table area was not roomy enough for laps. She thought I outgrew it until my husband mentioned how it drives him nuts too :)

I don't think it's physically possible for me to scream....and that scares me a bit. I feel that if I tried to scream, I would open my mouth and nothing would come out.

What a cool thread!

Lets see, a secret...

I've been manic depressive since I was 11, but didn't start getting help for it until 18. One night I was on the phone with my best friend and I started cutting myself and couldn't stop, it turned into a suicide attempt and just before I made the final cut he asked me: "Are you hurting yourself again?" I was so shocked that he knew that I stopped. He helped me find the courage to get help and 5 years later we're still best friends. I have also since gotten a great deal of help and have now successfully managed my depression for 3 years sans medication.

Funny secret: I think spiders are about the coolest things ever and I love them....but only the big ones. Little spiders freak me out.

I had to think about this one for a while because generally I'm a pretty open person, but I did finally come up with a couple of things:

I once ordered $100 worth of Burt's Bees stuff when I was 16 and told my mom that I won it. She is very "frugal" and I knew she wouldn't understand my sort of First Job Celebration. To this day she has no idea.

I internet chatted for a while with a guy who ended up asking me out. I still lived at home at the time and being no dummy I had him pick me up at home so that my parents could get a good look at him - you know, just in case he turned out to be an axe murderer. My parents still think I met the guy at work.

I have a touch of self-diagnosed OCD. My husband jokingly calls me "Sleeping with the Enemy" when it kicks into overdrive. Examples: The towels have to be aligned a certain way, folded laundry has to be a certain way (otherwise I refold it), my spice rack is alphabetized, and my wardrobes are divided seasonally and sorted according to color. I am one strange cookie! :cookie:

No-that is NORMAL. :) Any main dish, that contains meat especially, should only be kept for 48 hours after it was made...and it should be refrigerated within 2 hours of being cooked. The only way you should make it on Monday and eat it on Friday is if it has been thrown in the freezer inbetween.

It's called FOOD SAFETY.

Obviously, things like cake/cookies/breads etc. can be kept longer if sealed in Tupperware or Rubbermaid or something like that.

i also met people online and tried to hide it from my family when i was young. in several cases, i am surprised i did not die because of how simply stupid i was being.

one time, i was living in san fran and decided to meet someone off the internet who was an ex-cage fighter turned bounty hunter. i wanted to say i got a date with a bounty hunter. when he showed up (yes, i gave him my address) he turned out to be about 15 years older than stated, covered in white power and prison tatts, and was actually an ex con who gave me a fake name, dealt only in cash, had no actual address (lived in a trailer in a friends mom's horse pasture), and would go on random rants... - however - all of that aside - he was the most mannerly person i've ever spent an evening with and no, i did *not* see him again.

lets see... what else... i decided to try being an escort once because i didnt fully understand all that was involved. i honestly believed the agency when they told me it was dinner dates and companionship. - apparently - its not!!! and i left running to the body guard driver guy as soon as things turned in a way i wasnt expecting. he laughed at me and drove me home. sometimes, im far too naive.

lets see.. what else... i firmly believe my pets save my sanity. having something depend on me gives me a focus i would not have otherwise.

People who chew and crunch ice... it should be banned in public. It's like nails on a chalkboard to me. My mom didn't allow us to do it when little (bad for our teeth, she claimed), so when I got out into the world and co-workers and friends were chomping ice left and right, well, I just can't stand it!!!! I don't say anything because I guess they have a right to crunch, but I sometimes have to leave the room.

And, I shave my toes, well, just my big toe. I get pedi's with a friend from time to time, and she has the hairiest toes and feet. I always wondered why she didn't think to shave.

As far as I go... most people who know me would be surprised that I am an inner recluse or hermit. I'm very talkative and outgoing when I'm around people, but I really need a lot of time to myself to stay sane. I think most people don't know that about me!

Oh, I think the most awkward thing ever is when you are walking down a hallway at work or down the sidewalk or something, and you see someone you kind of know, like a casual acquaintance, and you just like awkwardly look at each other (or try not to), and the whole time you're thinking what you're going to say when you actually get close enough to talk to them. Anyone else do this? I feel like it happens to me all the time, and those moments always seem to last FOREVER, and I make them WAY more awkward than they need to be.

I always just smile. I don't feel the need to really say anything unless they do first. A smile is safe, if it's intrusive, and If they don't remember you, they just think you're really nice, or crazy:)

what i hate is when someone you are an acquaintance with is down the hall or whatever - and they wave, and you wave back - only to realize they are totally waving at someone else and NOT to you!

When somebody rubs me the wrong way, I LITERALLY bite my tongue to prevent myself from saying anything out of anger.

I have hair on my toes and shave it and am absolutely embarrassed and weirder out about it. (does anybody else have hair on their toes?)

hmm, I absolutely can't stand the sound of somebody eating, even if they're eating with their mouth closed and not abnoxiously, it makes me want to stab people with rusty spoons.

AND I really hate the sound of people eating. My roommate last year was terrible, I had to start putting on headphones whenever she would bring something in to eat.

I don't pretend to be in a cooking show, but I do BLARE oldies music while cooking/baking and no one else is home. It gets me in the mood. Especially motown.

I talk to inanimate objects all the time, regardless of whether I've bumped into them or not. I was fighting to get a box of waffles closed in my freezer and said to the box "you know, your only purpose is to be a box! You're supposed to close and open when I want you to, and you don't -- you're a very poor box." Or when I can't find something I'll pretend to be a detective on the case for them. uhhh......

If you're interested in actually starting your own cooking show, there's a website called www.stickam.com, like a lot of cam websites, there's a bunch of pervs, but if you ignore them, you can just cook on cam with a mic, hosting your own show. lol Just sayin:)

Mazza: thank you for your kind words, this site is one of the few places I feel comfortable sharing that.

I don't talk to myself...out loud. I converse with myself and other people ALL the time...but only in my head.

Until I was about 5 I honestly thought that I was a dog. I was an only child and my two constant companions were our foxhound mix Baxter and our poodle/terrier mix sweet pea. I basically modeled all my behavior off of them to the extent that I'd eat and drink from their dishes with them, share their rawhide chews with them, and sleep in their baskets with them. Of course my family tried to stop me but I was having none of it. One of the saddest moments of my life was when the three of us were wandering around the house and I realized how different our movements were and how differently we were shaped. That was the day I realized I wasn't a dog.

LOL how's that for weird?

When I see a dead animal in the street, I always imagine how it would look up jumping and frolicking with it's family.

When I worked as a nurse and would see an elderly person pass away, I'd always remember that once they were young and vibrant and full of love.

I like to practice other languages while I'm in the shower... which for me is just Spanish and American Sign Language.

I love this thread... I also have to shave or wax my toes... and I use them to pick things up all the time. My husband thinks it's crazy, he had never seen someone do it before... I'll even throw things with my feet, like if I need to toss a sock from the floor into the hamper, I'll pick it up with my toes and throw it in.

Oh, and the scary meeting people online thing, done that too... me and a friend met all kinds of "friends" online when we were like 12-14. Our parents knew about some of them (we let them talk to them on the phone first) but there were plenty of times we went to the mall "just to shop" to meet someone from the internet. *shudder*

I know a little sign language (teaching it to my kids, too) and I took a few years of French, and I retained a lot of it...however, I am finding Greek much more difficult, because of the totally different alphabet...it makes learning French, at least in my case, seem kindergarten level.

I love the ellipsis...I don't know why. I guarantee you I'll probably use it before I end this post. I use it WAAAAAY too much in my writing...and probably not the correct way either. Oops, there I go again...

I am always the loudest among any of my friends. I guess I'm the kid who didn't learn how to use their inside voice.

I played basketball in high school, and I had a pair of shoes that was too big. One day, during a game, one of them fell off and the ref called a time out so I could go put it on. For the rest of the school year, I was known throughout the county as "the girl who's shoe fell off in the middle of a game".

My initials are PMS, and my name means "small" in Latin...go figure. I tell all the men I work with my initials so they know to leave me alone...

Lastly, I think I talk too much. And I think Anderson Cooper is gorgeous, even if he is gay.

When ever I hear people talking low, whispering, or laughing nearby I automatically assume they are taking/laughing about me. I think this comes from being picked on at a new school when I was 12-13. That was an awful year and I ended up moving in with my grandma so that I could go back to my old school where I had tons of friends.

I also day dream a lot, especially when I'm driving. And I don't mean regular boring day dreams...I'm talking about elaborate well planned out dreams where I'm a famous movie star. I dream about the movies/TV shows I would star in, my co-stars (My current one is that "Moonlight" is back on the air and I'm playing Mick St. John's sister Olivia St. John...and that I'm staring in the movie version of "The Host"). Like I said, I have these daydreams so mapped out that it would take me hours to explain, so I'll spare you. Also, I always look great in my day dreams. I'm skinny and my hair is always perfect and I'm always dressed cute, blah blah blah. Does this make me shallow or stuck up? I don't like to think so because deep down, don't we all have this general fantasy?
Wow, that was embarrassing to admit.

Also, I love to read more than anything in the world and one of my dreams is to write a novel, but I have terrible grammar/spelling and writing skills in general. I guess it just wasn't meant to be. *sighs*

I probably have lots more that just aren't coming to mind...

I have terrible eyesight. When I was in college, I went on a trip with a group of friends. The hotel had a hot tub and a pool. My glasses were getting steamed up in the hot tub, so I took them off and took a dip in the pool to cool off. I went to get back in the hot tub and started talking to the guy I'd been talking to. However, I didn't know that he had gotten out and a different guy, who had a similar build and dark mustache, had gotten in. I talked to this stranger for a long time until he answered and I realized it wasn't my friend. I was mortified and now make it a point to always have my glasses near.

Everyone knows how miserable I am at the moment because I am unemployed. I have applied for over 40 jobs and have been called twice. I can't even watch the news because everyday more companies lay off employees and it scares me to death.

No one knows *truly* miserable and afraid I am and how low I feel when they complain about their jobs and say how they wish they would be laid off. My best friend in particular is the worst offender and I want to scream at her for being an ungrateful, self involved brat.

Utterly Absurd, I have similar day dreams too. They would take hours to explain to anyone. I usually spend most of my time envisioning the perfect outfitt to wear while said imaginary senario is taking place.

I'm in no hurry to get marrie to my bf, but I spend tons of my free time searching wedding websites and lurking on wedding blogs. I not ready for marriage, but I really really want to plan my wedding. My bf does not know this b/c it would send him running for the hills. But I have tons and tons of wedding related bookmarks. Everything from dresses, to locations to photographers, cakes you get the picture!

I hate having people over to my condo, b/c is really nice and my parents are paying a large chunk of my mortage. I continually feel guilty about this. Even though, I didn't particularly want the condo b/c it was too expensive. (not that I don't love it, I really, really do) My parents decided that it was a better investment than the one I wanted.

I am also one hairy, hairy girl. I have hair on my toes and my fingers. I'm constantly waxing and am in the process of some serious laser hair removal.

junebug - I think your friends are probably just being self absorbed and have no idea that they are making you feel so low. Perhaps you should tactfully remind them of your unemployment situation. If they still don't get it, tell 'em point blank that their job complaints are bothering you and that they don't have any idea HOW lucky they ARE to even HAVE a job... ESPECIALLY during these times when everyone is getting laid off and finding a job is near impossible! Best of luck to you, though

More random facts...
Despite being very outgoing, I am more of a listener than a talker. I usually end up knowing more about other people's lives than they know about mine. And despite being relatively open and shameless, there are parts of my life that I rarely disclose to anyone. I really, really hate people's sympathy and pity. Therefore, I have a tendency to downplay many situations or make comic relief out of them.

I have strong opinions about the music I listen to. I like rock the best, followed by country. Whether I will like anything else is a mixed bag and depends on the song. I figured that might come as a surprise to anyone here earlier who saw my admission to liking a few Jonas Brothers songs

I'm pretty open and I'll tell stories about myself even from when I was young.

Here are 2 stories that I probably haven't told much although my husband knows both...

I've always had male friends and few female friends, even when I was very young. I think I was in the 4th grade one day and talking to some guy friends and they started daring eachother about stapling their finger. I said lets all do it, I'll go first. So I walk up to the teachers desk, stick my finger under her stapler and stapled. I think I screamed but the poor teacher was horrified and the boys were horrified. I was mad that they didn't do it after me though.

Another thing is that although I've kissed very few people in my life, some of them have been girls. I actually think its a big deal to kiss a guy but not really a girl, at least for me because I'm not sexually attracted to women. Anyway, once in college I was kissed by a girl in a friendly way and then a few years ago I was hanging out with a few girls and I don't know what got into us but one girl started it. Although it was fun just to be goofy, it is kind of strange to kiss someone and not feel anything as opposed to what it feels like to kiss someone I'm attracted to.

I can't believe I only found out about this thread now!

I talk to myself. A LOT. When I'm cycling you can hear me mutter phrases like "Now I'm going to the supermarket... next alley to the left. And I'll buy bread and milk and.. oh, I also need some vegetables..." yeah, it's not like what I say is really interesting :).

I dance in front of the mirror and do some kind of play back show on the music I happen to have on. Also, I sing out loud with mp3 players on. There must be people who know that (for example, those who pass me by while I'm doing it). It's probably horribly out of tune but I can't really be bothered. When I have music I want to sing!

I-don't-know-how-many pages ago someone said they sometimes keep thinking of shameful things in the past, and just keep cringing. Well, I have that too! It's really irritating :).

Gross body habits... I pick my nose. And I'm a pretty compulsive skin picker. It's really stress relief for me. My skin would probably look a lot better if I just stopped picking at it. I do it on my face, but even more on my shoulders, upper arms and the part of my back that I can reach. I even do it on boyfriends if they don't stop me :D. It's just such a satisfying activity.

However, I'm doing my best to dredge up something. Well, I have a thing for Anderson Cooper, the CNN Anchor. It adds a whole new dimension to watching the news

Oh honey, you and me both. I have such a huge crush on him. I read his book and it just made it worse!!! But that's not a secret. I think everyone in my life knows about my love for that silver fox!

What don't people know about me.... I secretly watch Gossip Girl. I hate it. But I am completely addicted.

Sometimes I narrate my life in my head, especially if I've been reading a lot lately.

I have wildly elaborate fantasies. These aren't just simple "I wish I could sing" type fanatasies. They're storylines of entire alternate lives that I've been developing for years.

I absolutely do that too.

I have a made up language that has been in the works since I was 5. It is fully functional, has its own grammar, and is entirely original. I have shown it to absolutely no one. I would like to eventually use it to encrypt some of my more private documents. It originally had no purpose other than to rectify my boredom.

Also, something that I keep hidden from most every person in my life is that I struggle a lot with my health. It takes a lot to keep me well, and I never feel "good."

I am not as happy as I seem to be I have learned how to pretend to be happy very well even when I am sad.

I'm with ya on that one. One of my friends recently told me I'm the most confident girl she knows. Are you kidding me? I've got a boatload of crazy in my head. But I learned at an early age to keep it in my head.

OMG, thank you. He's totally cute! Although I don't like the rollercoaster one, that song sucks.

When I am alone doing chores around my home (ie laundry, emptying the dishwasher, making beds, etc.) I pretend it's a timed competition in my head.

Commentary runs through my head, run from room to room to get it done faster... Good things my neighbors are not close in proximity!
