Haven't been around much in the past few days - lots of catching up to do!
Dan - Great news about Liz! When it rains it pours (in a good way) - last year when I was job hunting I had to quit a job I hadn't started yet too. I felt bad, but my DH encouraged me to look out for #1 (no one else is going to) so I quit and accepted the better offer, closer to home. I've never regretted it either. Yay Liz!
Jillian - you look great! Keep up the progress pics.
OK, can't remember any other news - I'm sure I'm missing something... I'll be back!

morning kim!
another week starting. ugh. just not feeling it at all.
my little boy, Jagger, is turning 3yrs old on wed. :) we're having a little party (just us family) for him on saturday. it's a train theme since he loves them so much. i'm making a train cake..i'll be sure to post a pic when i'm done with it. :) i love building huge 3D cakes for the kids. not much planned except for gift opening and playing with toys, eating pizza and cake..that's about it.
wed is his actual bday, so i baked about 5doz. of his favorite cookies (monster cookies) but i made them my usual healthier version, with egg beaters, splenda, rf peanut butter..so they're not too terrible. and i'm going to make a stack of cookies and put 3 trick candles in them (the ones that keep lighting back up when you blow them out!) he'll get a kick out of those, i'm sure! and i think i'll give him one present on that day.
friday i'm going to bake all the cake i need to build the train on saturday. and friday afternoon i have another dr appt. :)
so that's what my week is going to be like.
oh and we're due for some freezing rain turning to snow tomorrow. and it's going to be in the 20's-30's all week. ick.
hope everyone had a good weekend and is having a good start to the week.
be back later.

Morning everyone!
Jillian- The train cake sounds darling.
Kim- Good morning!!
We had a busy weekend. On Friday night we took my parents out to dinner to celebrate my mom being done with her cancer treatments. Saturday I had clients at my Reiki clinic and birthday shopping. Saturday night my 6 y/o DD had 15 of her closest friends over for a Rock Star party. All of the kids came in their best rock star gear. We set up club lighting all over the house (we used to own a dance club), and they sang Kareoke and danced the night away. It was so cute! Yesterday we celebrated my parents 35th wedding anniversary by going out to dinner, then bought groceries, etc. Busy, busy.
On the exercise front, my DH bought us a Wii Fit. That is so great. It measures your weight and BMI everyday, plus there is tons of exercises to do. I am having a great time with it.
Have a great day everyone!!

Katie- Oh I really want the Wii Fit. Is it awesome. My friend does it but I have never actually seen it. I can't walk as much once the snow is here so maybe I will go buy that for myself.
This weekend was crazy!! My son had his 16th birthday party. I took 11teenagers paintballing and no I didn't play. They would have killed me, easy target ya know.
Sunday I painted my daughters room lime green...whoa!!! its bright but she is 13 and knows what she wants. I have trained her way to well, her poor boyfriend when she gets older....haha
Anyways, I had a really busy expensive weekend but it was worth it.
Have a great week everyone!

Morning gang...
My new work computer has been installed and I'm still trying to figure out where they put everything..
We're having a soup sale at work today, so I brought in a big ol' pot of the LAWL recipe New England style clam chowder.. Liz says this is the best batch I've ever made. Gotta love that it's virtually fat free and low sodium to boot!!
Have a great day out there!!

Hay there Kids!
Happy Monday! I am unusually chipper today? Weird. HA!
So food wise the weekend wasn't soo great. But I am back to the plan today. I had a tastefully simple party this weekend and boy their food is good! Last night BF and I went to dinner. It was sooo good. But sooo bad! Supisingly he ate healthy and I did not. Ooops! I was craving pasta! YUM!
Anyway I decided not to buy more weeks. Not sure if that was what I should have done. But I did. I know I would be more motivated if I did. But I just wasn't completely ready to commit. UGH!
I need inspiraton, motivation. HELP! HA! I hope you all had a great weekend! It is freezing here! 25 degrees feels like 19. Says weather.com. YUCK!

Ok time for some personals.
Kim, You haven’t been back yet and you said you would. HA!
How was your weekend? Anything eventful?
Jillian, The cake sounds sooo cool! I wish I was good at baking but I am not. : (
Hope the dr’s appt went good! I am sure it did. Sounds like we are having the same weather lucky us. HA!
Katie, Rock Star party what a cool mom! Sounds like the girls had a blast! I really want to by a WII for my son for Christmas. Sad thing is he didn’t even put it on his Christmas list so I feel like it would be like a man buying a woman a lawnmower for Christmas. You know what I mean. But I am sure he would like it if he got it. Problem is it would be like the only present he got from me. The package with WII fit and the WII is like $350.00! Crazy! I should probably get it! HA!
Joan, Another cool mom paintball, you should have joined in and made a rule that they couldn’t hit you. HA! Sounds like a great birthday for him as well. Bet DS loved it! Lime green huh? So did it look as good as she thought it would? Or was she like “ Mom I guess I don’t like it, can we change it again? “ HA! Love it!
Dan, Congrats to Liz for watching out for herself. Congrats to you as well for life getting back to normal! Cheers! HA!
Nicole is she still in TEXAS! Remember the ALAMO!
Ok that was fun! Hope you all have a great rest of the day!
Me I will finish work at 7 then off to the gym and then homework. Can’t wait!
I went to the old navy outerwear sale Saturday and they had a bunch of great deals I got a winter coat that was normally $100.00 for $50.00 I was soo happy! I love deals and I needed a coat bad!
So anyway the weekend was a good!

Hey guys!
Today's been crazy, running around trying to get my name changed to my married name. It's awful... I got married and it's like IMPOSSIBLE! THey make it so hard on people! Needless to say, I was in hte social security office for WAY too long today with the scum of the EARTH.
I was OP today, am just trying to finish up my water now. I made Deb's Chicken Brschetta Bake (along those lines) for dinner, VERY good.
Deb- that cookbook is such a blessing and is going to help me so much this time around! I lost about 45 pounds the first time around, and look what i have as assistance this time around!
My bookclub is meeting at my house tomorrow night, so I will be up late tonight cleaning. We're pretty much all moved in, but there are about 5 boxes/totes left in the living room to go through. It's going to be a bunch of BAD foods tomorrow night, specifically my pumpkin bars, but I will be eating a big salad and watching portions.
Hope you're having a good night and tty'all tomorrow!

Amy - I am having a Silpada jewelry party on friday and struggling with snack ideas... I was thinking of getting a veggie de-lite pizza from Papa Murphys and cutting into small slices, but was also looking for another healthy option... What are you serving at your book club meeting?
Cecil - sometimes my kids don't even ask for the big things because they think it is so far fetched that they will actually get it... maybe this is why your son didn't put it on his list? c'mon who doesn't want a WII???
I'm getting ready to encounter a HUGE challenge - I am coming down with a cold - I haven't had one since I started the program in February. Whenever I get sick I am so hungry, I feel like I need to eat and eat and eat. It hasn't been too bad yesterday or so far today - I am on takeoff (I know bad timing, but I just started feeling bad last night). Soups are usually pretty filling for me, so I guess I need to check out the soups area that Dan mentioned - any other suggestions???

Julie- do you sell Silpada or just host? I considered selling Lia Sophia, but I figured I would be taking advantage of my friends too much, and if I didn't do that, I wouldn't make my numbers! Plus, I found it's all on eBay! I was doing it for the jewelry only!
For my bookclub I am making pumpkin bars. I will have eaten dinner ahead of time. It's basically potluck. I know my mom is bringing a taco casserole and another girl is bringing a fritata which I am excited about!
Well, off to cleaning and cooking! Take care!

I want to post but I feel like I am intruding! Sorry! I'm new! My name is Jami, I live in Southern Alberta and I am a wii fit owner (it sounds like I am in rehab!) Any way I love it, and I highly recommend it (I had to stalk walmart to get it, but it as worth it :D !)
Funny wii fit story: My husband works away from home most of the time and has a place outside of Edmonton, when he can't come home we go up and stay with him, so last time we took the wii so we had something to do. Any way the carpet is softer in Edmonton and so the scale on the wii fit said I lost like 5 pounds (or something crazy like that!), but when I got back home it showed that I had gained it all back. It asks you why you think you may have gained and gives you a list of choices, but obviously softer carpet wasn't on the list so I just put I don't know. Then later in the day my 13 year old son was playing on it and it asked him if I looked bigger, more toned or the same!! Being 13 of coarse he put that I looked bigger and the wii fit said it would be thier little secret!!
Any way, Outdoor Challenge is another really fun and active game that will get your heart pumping!

HEY AMY!!! How are you? I didn't know it took so long to get the bar results back! WOW. Yep, been married a little over 3 weeks now! And loving it. I am back on the wagon too and am trying so hard this time around! Glad to see you back! Are you on Facebook or MySpace by any chance?
Had a great night with the book club, but went a little overboard. Nothing like I would have done before though. Luckily the girls who brought things were really bad cooks, tha macaroni and cheese was HORRIBLE, like barely edible. The "frittata" was a mess and the spinach dip wasthe pits! The only good thing to eat was my mom's taco casserole made with ground chicken and a half a hot dog with a little chili on it.
I did have two pumpkin bars for dessert though, I made them. And they were good!
Well, just registered for my classes next semester, 6 of them. I am considering changing my major to HR management... I really am sick of Accounting. The only reason I was sticking with Accounting is this horrible economy and the fact that there are always jobs for Accountants. We'll see!
Have a great day tomorrow!!!

Kim- I had some really good coffee at my bookclub and drank a little too much, so I was up late. Plus I was trying to register for my classes.
Katie- Funny thing, 2 out of the 4 of us that actually read it LOVED it. I did not. Nor did my Mom. I guess the apple doesn't fall far!
On the school front, I heardsome awful news today. Because I took the last semester off (to get married and move), I now have to fill out a re-enrollment form which takes a month for the Dean (of the business school) to get to. And then I have to hope that he won't decline it and that there are SOME classes left. And not night ones. I refuse to go to night classes in Camden! For obvious reasons!
Well, off to get this form in. Of course I don't have an black ink, so I have to go BUY ink before I can even print it out! Ugh!

Hey everyone,
I know it has been a couple of days since I checked in. I had a busy busy weekend. I didn't stay on plan as intended. I am trying to get back on plan. I had to go to the doctor on Monday due to what I thought was the hives again. They sent me to an Allergy specialist yesterday. I don't have the hives. I have something called atopical dermatitis. I have had to change everything washing powder, soap, and everything. So, now I am trying to adjust to this new stuff. I will try to catch up with everyone later on today. I am going to clean my carpet with some new stuff to see if that is what is contributing to my skin problem.

good morning everyone. well, today is my little boy's birthday! :) i made homemade cinnamon rolls last night and baked them this morning for his birthday breakfast. he loved them, they turned out more amazing than i thought they would! i even put one of those trick candles in his and he got such a kick out of it relighting after he (and his sister!) blew it out! :) what fun! so we're having a birthday dinner of homemade stuffed crust pizza tonight (his fave..he's such a fan of cheese and bread--gets that from his dad!) and i made a huge batch of monster cookies for dessert, since we're having cake on saturday. i didn't want to bake, or eat two cakes in one week...especially since i have a dr appt on friday. and i know that i've gained a bit since last month. oops. i haven't really ben eating bad since i've been feeling better for a while now. it's just that when i'm pregnant, i seem to gain and gain alot. but the last two pregnancies i know i ate terrible and tons of junk..hence the 60lb weight gain. this time..i know that i'm eating healthy, so if i gain alot, i'm not going to stress, because i know i'm doing what i can to be healthy.
Amy (in CA)--thanks for the compliment on my pic..i totally don't have a perfect basketball pregnancy..that pic sure makes it look like it though. :) how's your wedding planning going? (you didn't get married already did you?)

Hello again,
Here I am back from Rutgers. I broke down crying out of frustration in the Dean's office and the secretary felt bad for me so she let me see te Dean. I should know within a week if I am re-enrolled.
Jill- thanks for the book. I am even more motivated now... I will be searching for places for my internship, and as much as we hate to admit it, everything is based on appearance. Plus I have many boxes filled with my old suits, and I REFUSE to go buy new ones in bigger sizes!
I am treating myself to a Carb Craver today, cheese quesadillas as I am just emotionally drained from today. Of course they will be home made, and with veggies, but I got a quesadilla "maker" for a wedding gift that I am dying to try!
Take Care!

Yikes! I went to Mil's house this weekend to celebrate her and my baby's birthday (4 yesterday) ...I went WAYYYYYYYYY off plan. Up about 4.5 lbs). Sigh. Why do I keep doing this to myself? Complain bc I am stale weighed for several weeks then gorge and I gain. Sigh. My goal date is exactly 1 month away and I am now 16 lbs away instead of the 11.5 I was last week. Doing a TO today and tomorrow.
Happy birthday Jagger and to Lolene's son. I hope they both have great birthdays!
HA! I wish my son didn't ask for big items. He wants a millennium falcon that retails for $180 at the cheapest place so far. Sigh. had to explain how Santa has a budget.
Going to return to the fitness class that I tried last week tomorrow. Wowsers! I really need to mix it up and that class let me know I was more out of shape than I thought.
Tan -mini goal ..lose 4.5 lbs from to then go from there.

AmyLou! Good to see you back! Just think how bad it would be if you didn't have those regular few days back on plan! They add up, even if it was just to keep the number on the scale from being even higher. So start counting all victories, even if they are not so very obvious, like being 10 instead of 20 pounds up....
Tan, it is probably just salt in the food that you ate that is causing water retention. I've gained that much just from eating a few pickles. I don't know why a person eats a bunch of pickles and then gets on the scale the next day thinking it won't be that bad, as it WILL. Hot Lemon Water. That is what you need. Or the double whammy of water retention for me, Green Tea with Lemon. Wash off half a lemon, squeeze the juice in and then put the tea bag and the lemon rind in the hot water to steep for a few minutes. Drink the results... If you can stand it put a whole lemon into the tea. Also great for losing water weight is asparagus. One counselor told me that drinking the water that the asparagus cooked in is especially good, but I could never bring myself to that, however I can put asparagus into soup and that works really well. Just don't put a lot of salt in the soup though. 4.5 pounds is about what I will gain with a salty indulgence. Normally it takes me 2 days to get the water back off. Anyway, don't fret. I highly doubt that you ate enough calories to be 4.5 pounds of fat. Really that would be 15,750 calories extra. I doubt that you went that crazy.

Amy,
I am not really following anything too closely. I just eat less and trying to move more, so to speak........ I still have a lot of NS food left, and I eat it like I would a lean Cuisine. but I don't stick to what they say to eat when...
Family is doing good. my oldest just announced Friday that he is going in the Navy. I am still in a bit of shock. he was supposed to go and swear in Dec 1st. but the recruiter just called and said they could fit him in this sunday! He is still a senior so he will not go to boot camp until Summer.
I quit my job monday...... VERY LONG STORY. in a nutshell, it sucked, not enough money, and it took me away from the things that are most important, taking care of the family. So I have been home all this week and it has been wonderful.

Good morning everyone,
I hope that everyone has a great on plan day. I am off to clean more of the house and try to get rid of whatever it is that I am allergic to. This is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. l
Have a great day.

Elizabeth- Good job!!
Jillian- Hopefully DS will take a good nap so that you can too, huh?
The scale is moving slowly downward for me, too. I just need to be sure not to give into comfort eating while I have been feeling yucky this week.
Here is a picture of my chihauhau puppy Skippyjon Jones in his halloween costume. He is 10 months old now, and 3 1/2 pounds.

Morning guys-
Katie- he's adorble! It's bittersweet to me dressing up dogs in costumes. They look at you with this pitiful look in their eyes saying "mom, why are you doing this to me?" But yet, they're SO darn cute!! And you're a few pounds away from onederland!!! CONGRATS!
Jill- I know what you mean about it beinga sleepy day! It's as dark as night pretty much here in Jersey and about to rain any second! I slept much later than I usually do this mornig, I was just so exhausted!
Dionne- Good luck with the allergies. I have nasal allergies and am sneezing like a fiend this time of year, so I feel your pain. At one point I was allergic to my detergent. My DH suggested switching as it worked for his dad. Voila! That was it. Good luck though!
Letti & Elizabeth- congrats on your losses!
Have a great day to everyone else! Stay POP! We will be needing it in a few weeks!!! I'd rather be good now and slip a little bit on THanksgiving, etc!

Hello Everyone :)
I haven't checked in for a while we are doing renos at our new rental. The landlady offered to pay for everything and let me pick out the paint, floors baseboards, everything to match my furniture and style. I thought it would be great to have a fresh nice place to live, well we hit quite a few roadblocks and it has been alot more work than I anticipated. I am a bit of a perfectionist and don't know how to do things half way. My mother's favorite saying growing up was if you do it right the first time you won't have to do it again. (to the kid that ran the vaccumm over the floor to leave vaccum marks but was too stubborn to realize if I turned it on I would be ACTUALLY vaccuming....) SO needless to say I am exhausted. I will be finished up tonight, clean the new place and tomorrow I don't work so I am packing the entire house to be moved at 5pm when DBF gets off work and clean it to get our damage deposit back.
So here is the worst part of my week, last saturday at some point while we were at the new place the fridge broke at the soon to be old place. All the food spoiled and we lost over $500 worth of meat and food. I was devestated, we can't afford to lose a freezer full of meat and a fridge full of food. Our no-good landlord didn't even return my message until tuesday and he is putting another old fridge in for the "new" tenant (god help her) today. So I haven't eaten a SINGLE meal at home since Sunday. I am scared to see the damage on the scale and have avoided it all together.
So where is Nicole? Hello!!! where are you this week?????
Happy birthdays to the DS's celebrating this week!! I bet your train cake will be a huge success Jillian, oh and you do certainly have a perfect little basketball belly :)
Congrats on the awesome losses this week, nice to see so many happy posts about losing!
For those struggling we need to take some motivation from the ladies losing this week. Perserverence really does pay off. I am considering going to talk to someone about my emotioal eating and see what I can o to help myself from myself. I called but haven't mustered up the courage to walk through the door. I know it is a problem and is probably an indicator of an issue completely unrelated to food.
Wow I think I have written enough, if anyone ever gets to the bottom of this post be good to yourself today!

Amy,
I am curious as to what detergent you switched to. My son and I have really sensitive skin, and allergies. I usually use Purex, free and clear, but sometimes am not sure it does such a great job on getting the clothes as clean as others. Usually when I switch we start itching, though. This weather has not been the best for anyone with allergies or sinuses. My whole family has stuffed up noses, fluid in ears, etc. I have been told we live in Sinus Valley, who knows!
My son did have a nice birthday, but as everyone has noted, the older they get the more they cost you. He got a video game, a year of X-Box Live and a jacket, all to the tune of about $300.00, on top of going out to dinner ( an expensive night)!
Hope everyone has a good week end.

Hi all - I'm exhausted today too - it must be going around.
Glad your son's had nice birthdays Jill and Lolene! Jillian - we need to see a picture of the train cake. It sounds awesome!
Jami and Katie - I am thinking of asking for a Wii/WiiFit for christmas - it sounds like fun. I don't know how I'd feel about it asking other people about how I look, though! Next thing you know, you'll find it out on the street telling people your weight like Wall-E or something.
Amy(NJ) - I hope everything works out for you - I don't see why they would not re-admit you. Good luck!
Amy(barrister!) I still can't believe how long you have to wait for bar results. I hope you hear soon. And good for you for walking! Keep it up - it will get better.
Lettie - sorry about work - sometimes you need to re-evaluate what you are getting for what you are giving.
Elizabeth - Great scale results! That's a perfect example of just sticking to the plan - eventually it has to pay off.
Dionne - I hope you narrow down the allergen. I'm sure it is a very frustrating process. DH has allergies - sometimes he is completely incapaciated by it - after witnessing what he goes through, I'm happy I don't have any.
Katie - Your pup is too cute! I used to dress Dodger up, but he's too grumpy now.
Erin - Wow, loss of the fridge stinks. I'm always petrified of that happening while we are away. What a waste. I hope that the move goes smoothly for you - and you enjoy your nice new place. You've been pretty busy - maybe the scale won't be too cruel.
I've been sort of off plan this week - I need to get back on track. I'm fine until dinner, then I veer. I really need to sit down and do a menu for a 2 week period. It really helps me.
I am swamped at work - I have a deadline for tomorrow that I'm obviously not working on!

Hi everyone! I'm under the weather this week... stinks! I just went to the Dr to try to get something to make me feel better by sunday the rock 'n roll marathon - I will be walking the 1/2! Unlucky for me he said it's a virus and only over the counter stuff will make me feel better... but he also reviewed the results of my bloodwork from last month and his response was that I have the 2nd best Cholesterol count in his whole practice! What a compliment!
anyway, I'm miserable today, but still at work... will check in tomorrow...

Hey all!
Just checking in. NOthing much going on. It's pouring down rain here, but I wanted to walk anyway as well as look for a job. The town I live in now I grew up in, but is much different now. It's real chic with lots of boutiques and restaurants. Well, none are hiring. Two towns over is Haddonfield which is also really chic. No one hiring their either unless I want to work in Bain's Deli. I will see how bad it gets before I do that.
I don't want to do the whole retail thing again, I feel like I paid my dues. I'll probably end up in a bank orsomething. My specialty is fine jewelry, as I was a branch manager for 5 years in that. I applied today to Helzberg... we'll see!
I was going to WI today, but when I cleaned my place for the bookclub, I packed everything into the laundry room, and wel teh scale is in the back! I'll have to wait until Monday, which is my WI day anyways.
Hope you're having a great day.
Lolene- I used Gain Mango TAngo (SMELLS SOOOOO GOOD) but it was making me sneeze. I have Purex ultra concentrated now and alternate with all.

Lolene- my doctor told me to use Cheer Free & Clear , All Free & clear, Dreft, Ivory Snow. She also told me no fabric softner of any kind. I now have to use Cetaphil cleanser as my soap now. I really think that I may be allergic to the stuff I cleaned my carpet with. I cleaned my carpet yesterday with amonia and then with plain water. I hope this helps.
Julie- I hope you feel better.
Cecil- I think what you are doing is great. I am going to look at the site and check it out.
Kim- I hope you get some more energy to finish your work and have a great night.
Katie- He is cute.
To everyone I missed- I hope you are having a great day.
I will try to check in again later.

morning everyone. just sitting here drinking some great coffee and trying to get my day started. i've got to run a few errands today, go to the grocery store, come home and bake tons of cake (for my train cake for tomorrow!) and then go to my dr appt late this afternoon.
so i've got lots to do..and not much motivation to do it either! i was up twice to go to the bathroom (ugh!) and the last trip was around 330am, and it took me forever to get back to sleep and then i was up again at 530am. so i just decided to get up. probably gonna need a nap later!
anyways..i hope that everyone has a good day and weekend! train b-day cake pics to come on monday! :)

Happy Friday everyone! It's been so busy at work I barely have time to be on!
I'll have to respond once I get home but it's so good to see all of you!
Katie-I can't believe your pup is 10mos! So freakin' adorable!
Barbara-I'm so glad to see you!
Everyone stay strong this weekend! I am on a roll and the scale seems to be agreeing. I'll w/i (at home) tues so hopefully I can update my ticker to the real deal.
Have a great weekend!

PS- I got an email from Kimberly (her name was Bradley's Mom on her profile) and she just had baby #2 on November 11. A beautiful boy! I was so glad to hear everything went well for her. I hope she gets back to posting soon, but of course right now she is busy with her new bundle of joy! Just wanted to fill you in!

Katie, What a cutie your dog is. I miss having a dog... I really do.... but I did promise not to get one for "a long time".... Now I"m thinking about how long that would be to stick to the promise but still get a dog.... I miss Nicole too. She is such a happy soul.
Jillian, I can't wait to see the train cake. I hope the doctor's appt went well and that you are not feeling too tired.
Dionne, I also have always had to be careful of soaps. Usuallly it is fragrances that get me, or deoderant. I've used Ivory soap for years, but they really do make a lot more hypoallergenic stuff than they used to do. I use the All free and clear detergent. I do think I've gotten a rash from cleaning the carpets before, on my hands where I touched the detergent and in between my toes where I walked barefoot on the wet carpet.
Amy, Good to see you too! I was just down to California a week ago today. It was a sunny day and it was so nice to see the sun. I love Portland but the rain can get to anyone from time to time.
I've been on sort of a modified plan for a few days here. I just am doing plan 3 more or less but only allowing myself 1 starch a day. I seem to just go a little crazy when I have 4 starches, but I need the added food if I'm not eating the bars. I keep running out of bars and then don't make it back to the store, so I needed a plan B. I don't know why I can eat 3 starches with the bars and be fine, but having 4 starches with no bars and I got a little crazy.
Sunday is our 23rd wedding anniversary. I think we'll go out to a nice dinner... maybe a little bit of champagne? We'll see.

Morning chicks!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. It is VERY quiet in here without Nicole! Hope she's back soon!
Amylou- keep up the good work! Glad the scale is moving in the right direction!
Jill- hope the birthday party and train cake go well!

Hi all - see some old faces popping back in. So, Evette....have you been married this whole time or is this something recent?
Thanks Lolene for posting the NE Clam Chowder recipe on the soup recipe page!
Katie - cute pup! Love the costume. I tried to put a Christmas hat on my boxer dog/puppy Beau and he went bonkers and was not a happy camper! Needless to say, the pictures did not turn out very well. I'll try again another day.
I've actually dropped a couple lbs this week (no idea how!), but I certainly did not reach my Thanksgiving goal. As always, I'll just keep plugging along!
Jillian - you look great! My stepdaughter had a little girl on Monday (Nov 10) and she is named Anastyn Kate. The cool thing is that "daddy" is a former Marine and the baby was born on the Marine birthday. Of course, she's adorable.....I just put her picture in my profile

Joni - Congrats step grandma - she's really cute - and what a different name - there won't be a bunch of Anastyn's in her school class.
Well, I was tired last week because I was getting sick. I'm miserable (it didn't help that I raked leaves for 4 hours in the drizzle yesterday). I'm downing Airborne as we speak.
