Is there a certain smell that drives you crazy?

For me, hands down it's nice smelling mens cologne. Mmmmm. That stuff can win my heart. :love: :love: :love:

I have a bunch of different faves. I really like the smell of:

- onions frying;
- fish and chip shops;
- pizza shops;
- a myriad of different food outlets, let's leave it at that :);
- manly man cologne that my male friends wear;
- brand new electrical appliances - especially iPods.

My favorite smell is the smell of fresh basil.

It just smells so fresh and clean and delicious; if I could find or make a perfume that would smell subtly of fresh basil, I would wear it everyday.

There's a laundromat up the street and around the corner. It smells nice to walk past there.

My SIL who lives waaay tooo far away ... uses Gain laundry detergent. It reminds me of her. Especially if I wash something there and unpack it when I'm back home.

Leather (Oh the bliss of going to a shoe store!), coffee, cinnamon, pumpkin spice ..... but most favourite smell is that of my dogs' feet - especially when they are warm. Often, when they are curled up into cute little pretzels, I pull out a paw out from the warm bundle just to smell it. :-)

I actually have no sense of smell due to some major sinus issues throughout my adult life. I went to CA a month ago, and could smell for a little bit. It was blissful. ANYTHING smells good when you lose your ability to smell. ANYTHING. It is an underappreciated sense.
