WW Food and Point Issues - Points for a 7oz apple. PLEASE!!!

I am confused!! I looked in my WW 123 books and found that a 1oz apple is equal to one point...is this true?? I just weighed an apple that I have and it is 7.8 oz. I find it hard to believe that an apple could be 8 points?? Am I calculating this wrong??

I believe you've miss read. I believe it says 1 apple (the apple should be about the size of the average woman's fist or about 4-5 ounces) for 1 point.

a medium apple (138 grams) is 115.823 cal/0.497 fat grams/3.726 fiber grams.

138 grams = 4.4368 ounces
