Time for a new thread, the other one was 3 pages.
Candice, you can find all the stuff you need at this site
http://community-2.webtv.net/bogail/SIMPLYGIFSLINKS/
Go look under TAGS If you find one you really like, I can put your name on it for you, or I can get you the site so you can download a 30 day free trial (that you CAN keep for 60 days) for Animations or Paintshop Pro. Just let me know if you want the site.
Mima - TAKE IT EASY and stop hurting yourself. I will be glad when May 5th comes and you can finally take it a little bit easy. Good thing that Brad helps you out.
Joanne - Well spring WAS here, but it left again:( The wind is blowing like crazy, a little snow is flying and polishing the roads so they are treacherous. I want some of that 70+ weather. Hope you are feeling good. I have to write down everything or else it is too easy to go over the points.
Meme - Where are you? Glad you don't find us depressing:lol:
I hope you are ALL better now.
Ally - Hi. How are you doing? Hope you are feeling better as well.
Having a nice week after last week. Nothing pressing. Friends coming for supper tonight, so I am making the Cranberry Chicken. I would love to make the Strawberry Salad, but it is just way to good!
Everyone have a wonderful day.

Mima...I guess I'll let you get depressed over snow...I would if it snowed here. It isn't as warm this week as it was last week but still pretty. It's getting dry. I hate to see it rain but we need some right now!
I'm still coughing a little but nothing like I was! And my back is all better...back to full speed ahead! I only have one gear and that is fast!!!
My neck and shoulders have been killing me lately. The muscles are tight enough to break! My dad had this and actually had a muscle in his left arm to break one night. They were unloading a truck and another man put a box in daddy's outstretched arms. The box was too heavy and straightened his arms out (he hadn't been able to straighten his arm out in years) and the muscle broke. When he made his biceps pop up...it popped up on the side of his arm instead of on the top...looked soooo weird! The kids loved for him to do that! The Dr. told him he could do surgery and fix it but it would just be for looks, wouldn't help the pain, so he didn't have it done!

Thanks for the new thread happy! You all just yack way too much but I love ya anyway;) ;) ;) nice picture of ya in that fancy hat!
I will check out the site and see..I'm not too bright when it comes to figuring things out.ask Meme! Do you pay for it or are you on a free trial now? I have pain shop pro too but don't
know how to do too much with it.
Mima..don't injur yourself so you cannot enjoy your wedding nite!:o
Meme..that must have been terribly painful.....they say just a tiny tear is..ouch! We are dry too but some rain on the way today!!!! My anxiety makes my neck and shoulders extremely tight and sometimes my head shakes from my neck muscles clinching!!!! Did ya get that fish tank cleaned???? Mine needs it too!
Hi Ally and Joanne:smug:
I was in a better mood today..I was able to go outside and get one of the flower beds cleaned up but still alot of pain in my body..it just screams at me to stop..but I set a goal to finish the bed and I did! (it is a 20x3 bed with my roses and stuff in it) Burning some calories too....and I ate at 18 points for two days!

Happy I found the Tags but what do I do now????????????
I'm going to stay home and putter today.I got my things for centerpieces yesterday. A green glass dish with a hurricane glass and a cream candle surrounded by ivy and a cream bow. I LOVE to do that stuff-it's relaxing. And I am making 4 for less than 30$ and it's 60 for 4.Next week it will be easier because I'll be moved and i probably have a month to finish up but I am going to work on the 16th. That will be nothing after what I've done. Doc is going to call today about my cholesterol. Nicer today. have a great day everyone. Mima

Well...I called it...and we got it...rain, rain and more rain! It rained all night last night and has rained nearly all day today. Didn't stop until about 3 this afternoon and is supposed to rain more tonight...severe thunderstorms. I cleaned my daughter's house today and I'm about dead! I'm aching all over from the rain, too. I'll have Kaylyn all day tomorrow...she drives me nuts...yack, yack, yack...all day long. Her favorite word is "why"! (She's pretty fond of what, where, when & how, too!)

Happy- I feel great and if I wasn't having so much trouble with my knee it would be better. Lots of swelling and pain. Looks like I am going to have to have it injected again. It has barely been three months if it has been that long..I've lost tract.
The weather here is hot. In the 80's. We are again wishing for rain. The air here is full of oak pollen. My hubby has to take something everyday for it.
Hello Meme send me some of your rain. I got out and tried to water some flowers. Everything is wilting. Pulled a few weeds and now am sorry. It just made my knee hurt worst.
Mima..Just a few more days!! You are getting married Greek Easter weekend. (Orthadox Easter) I will cook a leg of lamb and all the fixings. My daughter may come down. My youngest sister and her hubby ,and her daughter ,G/child will be over. My son will be with us too.
Hello Ally -Hope you have a nice weekend..How's your kids?

ALLY, WHERE ARRRRRE YOU? She is missing again. Gosh, I hope you are feeling ok, and not bogged under in all those carbs:lol:
Meme - As if you didn't have enough to do! Why in the world were you cleaning your daughters house? Enough already, I won't lecture you, you just pay the price with pain. I do hope you are feeling better. Cute picture of your little grand daughter. They do look so sweet in those little hats. I could never keep a hat on my kids, but Ashley wears hers all the time, no trouble at all.
Candice - Did you get lost in Paintshop pro? I can help you out, or Meme will. She knows more about it than I do. I want to learn animations next. I learned how to crop a picture today, because, for the life of me, I could not figure that one out. Low and behold, in Paintshop, it tells me how to do that. I am learning something new everyday about this, and I find it quite facinating.
Joanne - I am so sorry that your knee is still giving you so much trouble. Are you able to walk far, or have you had to give that up for now? I sure wish we lived closer. I could just sit down and enjoy a cup of coffee (decaf, which really isn't real coffee at all) with you and have a really good talk. I probably would be like the energizer bunny and keep talking and talking and talking. Candice will agree when she sees how long this post is:lol:
Mima - Boy, not so many days left now - only 11. We will have to have a cyber shower for you here. That would be fun.

Meme- Cleaning your daughters house. You sound like me.. I help my son with his laundry and when we go to his house to take the dog out for him I make his bed if he hasn't made it. I never could stand unmade beds or dirty laundry lying around. He says "mom,You don't have to do that" I don't mind. He is so busy and he does a lot for me in return.Don't get sick though. Your G/daughter is a cutie.
Happy- This knee is a pain in my backside. I don't walk when it is flared up like this..I feel really guilty when I miss my walks. I have been doing it for so many years. I would love to have someone like you to just sit down and have a nice talk. So you beat the caffien. I did too a few times. Now I am back to my bad habit. I drink a couple mugs in the morning and don't touch it the rest of the day. I guess I got tired of feeling deprived:lol: I hated the decaf . And then my daughter told me what was in it and how it was processed. I felt like I was just as well off enjoying my coffee.I forgot all she said about it.Or I would pass it on. Is it still snowing? We are having 85-87 degree weather. Air conditioner runs and runs. Thank God.I don't mind the heat but when I want to get out of it I can. The picture of your G/daughter is cute . The little ones are so wonderful at that age.
Hello Candice,Mima, Ally...Hope you all are well. ....Bye Joanne

I'm afraid my motives for cleaning my daughter's house are purely selfish. She pays me $40 which is about $10 an hour! She had someone else doing it and they quit...I told her I'd help her out until she found somebody else...but I don't think she is trying! :p She says I do so much better than a stranger would, plus, she doesn't really want a stranger in her house when she isn't home, either and she'd have to give them a key, etc. I didn't do it the last 2 weeks because I was sick...it was really bad yesterday!!! My daughter leaves for work at 7 in the morning and doesn't get home until 6 at night...has a husband who doesn't help much and 2 kids ages 3 and 5...the 5 year old is the one with problems...plus she leads 2 children's choirs in her church. She really has her hands full. I don't mind helping her out when I can...and IF I can! I usually clean her house on Friday's but I was down with my back last Friday and she has her house up for sale and needed it cleaned BAD yesterday!
I have got to get started on my spring cleaning!!! Anybody else got their's done??? I had planned to get soooo much done Saturday but Garrett will be 7 on Saturday and is having a BD party at the roller-rink...can't miss that! I get so aggravated with my mom...she was just *****in' all over the place today about the BD party on Sat. Why on earth did they have to have a BD party in the middle of the day on Sat. She had too much to do...she had to take a bath and get ready for church on Sunday!!! :joker: She told me all this stuff she had to do on Sat. She lives alone and doesn't do ANYTHING all week long...I finally told her to just stay at home if she didn't want to go but to stop making excuses and just say she didn't want to go. I'm so sick of her...I wish she would get mad enough at me to move away!!!!!!! (Say like to Afghanistan or somewhere! If they wanted to torture the terrorists they could make them live with my mom for awhile!) Hubby said she even called him while I was teaching this afternoon and complained about the party Sat....she was telling him what all she had to do...that's just too funny! She doesn't usually mess with him!!! He usually tells her "like it is"!!! I'm having a yard sale in June...wonder if I could give her away at that??? (They'd probably bring her back and sue me!!!
i've got another load in my car to bring in and moving day is tomorrow. We are going to the singles group for the last time tonight. ayone ever get a tingling in their lip. i've had it for 2 weeks, Probably a fibro thing. honey just got in so i'll get hime to help. Bye Mima

Hi Guys. I am still alive. I tried to get on one nite this week and the site was down. My boys are usually on the computer during the week and I have given up the battle. IF it keeps them quiet and happy....yea!!
I am going to ebay to bid on a aquamarine ring. I had one my mother gave me and it finally fell apart and I found one just like it there. Wish me luck.
I will check in tomorrow and read all your posts.
Hope everyone is OK.

Moving day!!!!I don't have a lot of energy left. Anyone need a queen size bed? It will probably end up in the living room. We went to singles last night-we asked the director to play the piano for the wedding but she may be booked. Meme-can you travel? Haha. Bye for now. Mima

Beautiful family Meme. And Happy your grandaughter is a doll too. I just had to take my son to the mall to be measured for a tux. I keep trying to talk him out of this and wait til next year when he is a Senior. Way too much money to spend.
I wanted to find some bargains but the things on sale are just not for me. Those tight patterned capri pants....even though they come in my size I would not leave the house in them.
Wear are just summer pants?
I am taking the dog to K-mart....maybe I can find wallpaper boarder and real pants there!!
I am still doing 5-HTP and it seems to help with migraines. I had one brewing bad this morning (wonder if they are pollen related) and I took 200mgs and the headache died. I had a fibro flare for two weeks but that is ending too. Knock on wood.
Hows the wedding plans, Mima?
Joanne.....I am the only one who changes my kids beds. I go so far as to leave the clean sheets on their pillows, but they will sleep without sheets!!!
Candice......trying not to talk to much, but I can get away with it cause I haven't "talked" in a week

Ally..Tell me about it.. My son would sleep on the bare mattress when he was home.. His room was a hazard spot. Now he has his own house.. He keeps it clean and picked up much of the time. He just doesn't change his sheets every week. So I get them and usually make up his bed if he dosen't.. He is awful busy. I just try to help him out.. I still wish he would find a wife so I can retire. He had a wife 18 years ago... She was a piece of work!!I think it has scared him..Although he still loves the women.
Meme.. You have a good looking family...I wish I had a scanner so I could send some pictures . I would have to learn how to use it.. There is so much I don't know about computers.
Hey Mima. Just relax..You will find someone to play your music..Otherwise you could pipe some in..

Mima...just buy tapes! A lot of people are using those for weddings now-days. If you have anyone with half a brain to put the tape in and start it at the right time you're in business!!!
Joanne...if you have pictures you want put on here...here's what you do...doesn't cost but a few cents! Take the photos to Wal Mart and ask them to make copies. Make sure you ask if they put copies on the internet...I know they do film they develop but I'm not sure about copies!!! They will give you one of those little envelopes to fill out. Keep the top flap which has a number on it. In a few days, log on to www.walmart.com and click on the photo tab at the top. From there you'll have to click to become a member or join...or something...and fill out an electronic form. Once you have done that, you can just log in with your password each time you go to the site. You can type in the number off your little receipt from any pictures you take to wal mart and see them before you get them. They stay on the internet for 30 days and there is a place for you to "share" them with friends! You can type in my email address ( ermaxwell@hotmail.com ) and send me the ones you want put on here and I'll crop them, save them and post them here! It is neat to be able to see you pictures, plus if you want to order more later you can...as many of each one as you want and even different sizes. Most people don't know that wal mart offers this service! I just found out when I got my digital camara for Christmas...now I use it all the time. I take my pictures, download them to my computer, go to the wal mart site and upload them there and tell them how many of each I want printed. They then print the pictures and mail them to me. It doesn't cost any more than taking a roll of film to the store...actually less because you don't have to buy the film and you only get the pictures that you want.
OK...end of tutorial!

We have had a terrible ladybug problem too! Now it is spider time, I hate them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got another flowerbed ready for planting but the weather is not good enough to put anything in yet, had a hail storm tonight!
Got to the doc Thursday and my biopsie was negative, always a relief but I have to try the new Nexium pills for my esohpagus the prtonix was causing bloating. I just hate any kind of meds, nothing seems to be without side effects!
Sounds like you all are keeping busy.....I'm still op but got into the m&m almonds!
Dh got oil all over his good clothes (and coat) and I have been washing them over and over again..I think I finnally got it out!
I got some new Birkenstocks, really ugly shoes ( a black tie) and I think something is wrong with the footbed in the right shoe cause it feels like something is in the shoe..like a high spot..so I need to take them back I guess( they are so expensive if I'm not gonna wear them). They don't have anything else I can wear right now..spen 2 hours there deciding on these!
Meme..great picture.but how did your daughter get two blonde children????????? The spiderman pages were cute too!
Happy.......do you just pick a tag and take it into paint shop pro???

Someday I have to pay attention to all Meme's tutorials. I have a CD of the pictures my brother took and that is like so wierd to me. Just like when you turn on the TV for a second and wonder how the heck it works, but then decide that might take too much brain power to figure it out so you just accept it.
One of my kids works at Burger King so he just begged me to run to the store and get gel insoles for his ugly cheap black shoes. They cost $13. Should have just bought more expensive shoes.
Candice.....the one good thing about Berkinstocks is that they will take them back or fix them. They should...they cost a fortune!!! Years ago they were yuppie or hippie footwear. Now my kids call them old lady shoes!!!;)
Candicej
04-29-2002, 03:41 AM
Ally do you wear Birkenstocks?????????? That is the only shoe I can wear most days and that is as dressy as it gets! I cannot wear dress shoes at all. I have my New Balance cross training shoes and some SAS Freetime walking shoes (that I wear my orthotics in from the foot doc) but I like the Birks best. I'm sitting here now with the new Birks on trying to decide if I need to take them back. I have so much foot pain that I have to be very selective with my choices and just trying them on in the store is not enough time to tell. I know you cannot wear them outside and return them but he said I could wear them around the house but it takes time to break them in! They are called Princeton and black leather and very ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They fit my narrow foot well except for the left big toe barely touching the tip and the right footbed feeling like it is too high in one spot. I keep thinking they will break in and I will not notice these things. I just don't want to cause more foot pain by wearing the wrong shoes! They were 150.00 on sale for 120.00............I have two pair of Birk clogs (navy and green suede) that are too big right now due to my weight loss so need to take those in and see if they can do anything and I have a white sandel with a wrap around strap and a black slip on sandel and my favorite a tan suede Arizona sandel. ( I wear these all the time and they still look good) over ten years old! Dh thinks these are ulgly and I should get one with a strap but they didn't have that in my size and the guy told me they would not fit my narrow foot anyway. Ya think he was just trying to sell me this pair?????????????????
I know too much yacking.......I'm trying to reason this out!

Meme tell me all about that digital camera ya got...pixels, name brand, price and anything I need to know...I don't know what I am looking for! Where did you get it also????????:dizzy:
We picked out favorite hymns on cd's and will have someone make one or I'll make a tape. the move went super and we did nothing yesterday except go to church. At Mass, the priest said he was concerned that the people in the back were not getting enough holy water when we renewed the baptismal vows so he took out this super squirter water gun and sprayed. He said we needed a laugh with all that's going on in the Catholic church. beautiful pictures Meme. Gonna send you apicture of my dress to post . We're doing great-I get nervous once in a while but Brad is so cool and so excited. Someone called him 6 times between 10 and 2:30 last night bevause their water pipe broke so he's gone down to look at it. Clark makes comfortable shoes too. Gotta go get my grandaughter her birthday present today and mail it. Bye for now Mima

Mima...good move on getting a CD...what is it you are going to have somebody record? You can buy cassettes of the Bridal Chorus (Here Comes The Bride) and the Wedding March (The Recessional) at most Christian Book Stores...they are only about $8 each. It's getting closer!!!
Ally...you are so funny...I guess a lot of techincal things are better taken for granted and not understood but I've always had a curious nature! Have to figure out how and why everything works. (Probably why I stay stressed out all the time...brain isn't smart enough to figure it all out!!!)
Candice...take the shoes back...if you paid $120 for them and you are not going to be able to wear them all the time without total comfort...take them back! Just tell them there is a lump in the bottom and try another pair of the same kind/size. I hate taking stuff back but it's better than being stuck with something you don't like or can't use. Hubby got me the camara for Christmas. He got it at Wal Mart...I don't know how much it cost but probably not much over $200...that's about what we spend on each other. He got me some other stuff, too, though...some accessories...carrying case, battery charger, memory card, etc. and and a weekend trip...but I'd still guess about $200. It is a Kodak DX3500. We had to get a memory card for it because pictures taken on "good" were blurry...have to take them on "best" and you can only get about 10 or 12 "best" on the internal memory. You can get 25 on good...with a memory card, you can get 25 on best and 50 on good...the card was about $30...it just slides in the side of the camara. It's really easy to use, just plug a cord into your computer and leave it there. When you are ready to download your pictures just plug the end into the camara and it automatically downloads the pictures. You can crop them, lighten or darken, take out red eye and even do neat things like making coloring sheets, etc. right on your computer. When you get the pictures centered and looking like you want them you just save them on your computer and go upload them at wal mart and have them printed and mailed to you. They only charged me $1.38 for shipping and handling and NO tax...and it's only about 28 cents a photo for 4X6 (I think that's what it was...)
Okay..Ally...once again...end of tutorial!!!

I hope that day finds you all well and in not to much pain. It is really raining here, but tht is ok, because we really need the moisture. It has been so dry the past few years, as we have NOT had any spring rain. This should make the farmers happy anyway. It doesn't like me much, and I find I am a lot stiffer than normal. The arthritis is flaring up a bit in the lower back. Fm seems to not mind the day - so far:lol: Gee, all my companions are so finicky!
Candice: I have a Kodak DC3200 (same as Meme's - her's is just a later model). It works well and I love it. TAKE THE SHOES BACK!! I have so often bought shoes and then got them home and they hurt like he**. Didn't hurt in the store! Sometimes I take them back, and sometimes I just end up giving them to my daughter. She gets lucky because shoes are so expensive. I also like Clarkes. Talk about your shoes that you had for 10 years. That is me and Clarkes sandals. They just don't wearout. I like them, because they have the straps and I have to tighten them to the last notch. I also have a narrow foot, and it seems almost impossible to get that in this city. Only the B width and wider and I need a AA with a AAAA heel. Your signatures look good. If you want an animated one, go over to Delphi and they will make you one. I have a few from them. They do really good work.
Meme - Hello. You sound much more chipper today. Hope it is because you are finally feeling better.
Mima - Gosh only a few more days to go. I know that you will feel so much better when this is done. It is just the added stress you have that makes you have little flares. Ain't love grand:lol:
Ally - You always make me laugh. You are like a breath of fresh air. Meme does give us good tutorials alright. If I didn't make my sons bed for him, when he was home, he also just slept on the mattress. What is with that male species? Now, I don't look at his bed, and I just hope he uses a sheet. He probably does, but I would not venture to say how clean it was:lol:
Joanne - Good morning. What have you been up to? It is this weekend that you have the Greek Easter? I guess you will be busy preparing for that. Is it nice and warm down there?
Well, I better quit before Candice says I am writing a novel:lol

I'll try this again.. I hate to lose what I am writing. I looked back to see something and lost it AAAAAAHHhhhhhhhhhh!!!
Thanks Meme..Now all I need is a digital camera..
I wish I knew all the things you do about computers.. I will have to get my sister over here sometime to show me somethings .
Candice- Take the shoes back.. If a shoe doesn't satisfy me in the store . I walk out. I have had Clarks.. They are good. I have never tried Birkenstock. I guess the price and they are ugly. Another thing. It is sandy in Florida and I don't like to get sand in my shoes. I don't mind walking barefoot in the sand though. I have lived in Fl. all my life too.
Happy.Yes Greek Easter is this weekend. I will be cooking and have my sister, her husband and daughter,g/child and my son over.
Hello Mima- Tapes are a good idea. Meme has a good idea. Go to a bridal shop and they should have them or tell you where to get them.
Hey Ally..

Joanne I just did the same thing and lost it! Arghhhhhhhh!!!!! I can't wear Clarks just the Birks cause I need the support the cork bed offers.
Still undecided.........It feels like something is under the the pinky still but otherwise they are getting more comfy which is what they are supposed to do! If they could fix that it would be great but I guess I will have to call them and they do not have another pair and won't untill the fall shipment. Keep thinking it will just go away (the lump) like your sock seam is under your toe!
Meme..and Happy..is that camera easy enough for me and Ally to use!;)
Mima..I would not like having water sprayed on me in church!
Happy went to Delphi..do you just post a message that you want one? They say they will not make more than a few at one time and you can only post them once on here now!
We picked out a whole bunch of songs on cd's we have and want someone to burn them on one cd. They are hymns and love songs. Don't need the wedding march-Brad says we are going to run down the aisle whooping and yelling!!!!My whole left side hurts-I probably should stay in bed for the day but someone might meet me at the condo to get the couch. Brad ordered the flowers yesterday. i am going to have a small spray to hold of pink, white, and lilac and he's going to wear a white rose. He's got the cutest suspenders with matching tie. It's just flying by=the time. This move is tough on me but it's coming together.Gotta get a haircut=massage-nails. Good things. It snowed yesterday!!!!!!And it's going to be rainy half teh week. Yesh for comfortable shoes. funny pictures meme!Bye Mima

Good morning
Mima. Too bad about that pain, but if you had snow, then you might know why. That and the moving - a lethal combination, I think. Only 5 more sleeps! I am getting excited for you, myself.
Candice - that camera is very easy for anyone to use; but if I can do it, anyone can:lol: It has a viewer so can see what you are taking before you take it and after you take it. If you don't like it, just delete it. I am taking mine with me on a short little holiday at the end of May. We are heading out for the mountains and the hot springs. Going with another couple. Should be fun. Let's hope the old back holds up. PaintShop Pro is kind of a fun program, isn't it? I can't wear those birkenstocks. They just hurt my feet. I can't stand the very thing you like - that molded insole. I thought they were the most uncomfortable things going, but then I don't have much trouble with my feet at all. Glad your tests came out ok to, by the way.
Meme - I don't know if I told you - nice pics of your family. Thanks for the tutorial on the camera - Ally can now go get one and know how to use it:lol:
Good morning Joanne - How are things going today? See, I am not the only one having snow! Mima joined me.
Hi Ally. Listen to Meme's tutorials. They are great!

Well I called the shoe store and my son will take them back tomorrow and we will see if they can be fixed or they said they would order new ones or issue a credit. Curious as to how it will play out. They just did not feel right and I gave them plenty of time.
Got a tad bit of yard work done and pansies potted before the big rain>>>>>>>>>>>>>but my left leg hurts all the way from my hip to the bottom of my foot when I do alot of bending or sitting and leaning forward.
Did you all watch that movie "Living with the dead" James Van Prague story.........my son says that is talking to evil spirits they are the opnly ones who can communicate........I'm not sure about that one!
Happy......I need the suport the Birks offer with the raised arch bed and foot contour..after awhile they ,mold to your feet so it is like they are custom made! Sometimes I just want soft though!LOL
Mima..what color are your nails this time???????? Toes too??????

I watched it...hubby started to but then the guy that wrote it came on and said it was based on real experience and hubby went to the computer and then to bed...he doesn't believe in such things...he feels about like your son does. I don't think the spirits of dead people come and just roam freely around the earth! I'm not sure exactly how it plays out after you die...if you go directly to heaven (or ****) or if you sleep until the end of it all...but either way...I don't think you are hanging around in limbo somewhere just doing your own thing either!!! I believe there is another dimension that we can't see, though. (And I guess it is a good thing we can't...probably scare us to death). That would be the dimension where the angels, God etc. are. The bible teaches this. I just don't think the souls of the dead are out there walking around...even in the other dimension! You have heard people say that they know their mom or their dad or whoever is watching over them? Well, I don't believe that after a person dies they can still see what is going on here on earth! How depressing would THAT be?!? That person may still live on in your heart and their influence may still be directing your steps but once they pass...they are done with this earth! I watch movies like that one just purely for entertainment! Kind of like Snow White or Cinderella!
But I do think there are people who "Predict" the future and are right a lot who have help from somewhere "below"... Don't want anything to do with them...and I don't want to know the future, either!!!!!!!
3 more sleeps-nails not done til friday-can't get an appt. for haircut-too late-play day today-walking with auntie and out with girls tonight. Talked to minister last night-said I won't say obey, going to say follow insted. Brad thinks it's funny but I have had too many domineering abusive men in my past!!!!I got someone to burn the cd and we have someone to run the pas system. Good about the shoes, Candice. You guys are doing such nice art work. I made the centerpieces yesterday-just need to plant the ivy around it. Bye for now-Mima

I got an email today from a good friend whom I hadn't heard from in 30 years!!!!!!! We were really close at one time but then I moved to TN and we lost touch with each other...she is living in Washington DC now and has a brother who lives in TN...isn't that amazing! I LOVE the internet!!!!!!! We found each other through classmates.com.
The dress is coming Meme, gonna iron the wedding clothes today. It's pouring-I found weddding music on a cd at walmart-we are set. I went for a walk with my aunt and then lunch and out to dinner with old friends who found out last night about the wedding-it was fun. the sad part is that one of our friends has lung cancer-never smoked- and is undergoing chemo because it spread and they can't operate. Brad has gone to work but we are doing well-the centerpieces came out nice-I'll put one next to the dress. It's great to stay home and putter. Hope everyone is well. Mima

Mima...I want to see you in the dress!! And yeah, that obey thing should be out of there.
I came home early today (which is how I got on here at all) and found two boys on my treadmill and another one going thru my freezer. My son was in the bathroom. Well, I scared the **** out of these boys in my house. And I yelled at my son in front of them. I tell you, I will NOT have empty nest syndrome. This is my big bugaboo. I do not want kids in my house when I am not here.
Birkenstocks. Yes, I have several pair and they do last forever and they will resole them for you. I love their sizes...I wear a 36. They are ugly but I find the molded soles comfortable. In the same store I also found some sandals from Italy, velcro leather very comfortable but also $100. They too look like they will ast forever.
I upped the incline on my treadmill (and I will kill my son if those boys broke it) and feel like I might have lost another pound in my butt. However, my chest is getting bigger :dizzy:

Mima- You are going to be a lovely bride..Your dress looks very nice. I hope you will be very happy.
Ally..I'm with you. I would not like extra kids in my house when I was gone. I tried to make mine aware of all the things that happen when we were not there,. Besides kids are nosey and just naturally get into things that they shouldn't. I remember my sister had the same problem. She had to put locks on her bedroom door. She lost a few things. My son lost a cross.. About a year later he saw it in his frirnds bedroom. So much for friends.
Meme.. I didn't see the movie you were speaking of. I wish I had. I do believe that a person roams familiar places after death. I heard or read that they do for 40 days.I think it is. I know that a few times after a death ,I have had the feeling that they were visiting me. Now everyone will get a good laught. I am a little psychic .My family thinks I am. I often knew things that were going to happen or happened. My kids said mama has eyes in back of her head,  Things have happened in my life that I should not have known. But I knew them. My son had his Honda bike stolen when he was in Gainsville. I told him right where to find it because of a dream that I had the night it happened. No I'm not a nut!
Hello Happy, Candice
Bye Joanne

If you're a bear, you get to hibernate. You do nothing but sleep for six months.
I could deal with that.
Before you hibernate, you're supposed to eat yourself stupid.
I could deal with that, too.
If you're a bear, you birth your children (who are the size of walnuts) while you're sleeping and wake to partially grown, cute cuddly cubs.
I could definitely deal with that.
If you're a mama bear, everyone knows you mean business. You swat anyone who bothers your cubs. If your cubs get out of line, you swat them too.
I could deal with that.
If you're a bear, your mate EXPECTS you to wake up growling. He EXPECTS that you will have hairy legs and excess body fat.
Yup..... I wanna be a bear!
Meme, you are a genius-I'm not good at fixing pictures but I want to learn. We are doing well-have 5 cameras ready to go-I told Brad when I get old I want to see the pictures so I can remeber. Going for a massage soon. The Japanese believe that the spirit roams for 40 days so someone has to stay in the house of the person that died. Then they have the cremation. Close friends are Buddhists -that's how I know this. I'm so glad we have plans to go to the beach for 3 days-even if it;s cold-indoor pool and jacuzzi. And nice restaurants. Bye for now, Mima Ps-I had a dream about you Anne-you owned 2 house and they were full of people and I was talking to your husband who said he was a Baptist=you see, Brad is Baptist and I'm Catholic but we go to both churches so it's all in my head-different doctrines.
No more sleeps. We were awake at 4;15. I will take a nap. I'm going to get my nails and feet done but first we are going to breakfast. And it's nice out!!!!!!We went out to dinner and the song I'll be with you in apple blossom time keeps going through my head so Brad asked the keyboard player to play it. Hope everyone is good.Hey, Ally, you never know. Don't give up. God's timing is perfect. Mima
