I did a 5K charity walk on Sunday in the cold weather and up a bunch of hills so I felt okay about taking today off considering it was SNOWING!!

My puter at home was acting up so I didn't get to post last night but yesterday I did 5 laps in the pool and also about 15 min on the bowflex.

Ok.. well I finally got the clean bill of health from foot doc, I just need to ease back into doing the walking again.

Plan for today: Crunches and shoulder exercises.

SO - I didn't move my butt yesterday.

But, today, I went to the gym and did the following:

Walked 6/10ths of a mile (easing back into it just like the doc said)
Did 3 sets 60 lbs 10 reps of lateral chest press
Did 2 sets 60 lbs 10 reps each direction of abdominal twist machine
Did 3 sets 40 lbs of triceps pull down (triceps extension)
Did 3 sets 60 lbs of Deltoid press
Did 3 sets 60 lbs of butterfly press
75 crunches

I have that wonderful warm sore feeling in my arms/chest/back.. it feels great. I just hope I don't cough, because my abs are ok as long as I don't breathe

Happy Happy Day...

Though I barely sat still yesterday, very busy day...I didn't get in any actual exercise. Today will be a good butt movin day though. I will squeeze it in if I have to lose sleep.

I seriously reccomend Curves for women with no hesitation. It's not demanding and it works, and hey, it's all women. Not too pricey either. $39 a month is not much, and the 1 time fee isn't too bad either. Worth every penny!

Curves is great for many first timers, and many who need a good plan to keep moving. I will admit that i feel that curves would not do much for me as i do much more that what they have to offer!

But i would not hesitate to encourage anyone to get started with that!!! or some one who needs a good structure.

as for me (after that speach) i did move my butt once this week at the gym and moved furniture all day yesterday. bedroom stuff up and donw stairs 2 sets 2 times!!! in and out of houses and trucks too. so i guess that was a good one for me. I figured that i would take this week off and get my self ready for monday. i just had too many things to rush to get done this week.. iii have gotten tons done so i am ready to get back to my serious work outs monday!!!
