Good morning and HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone!
A while ago and mentioned on a previous post that I thought it would be a good idea for us to put some books about our condition that we have read...because books are a pretty good way learn and understand our issues...
So, I have three that I though were really good, please see below and feel free to comment on the books if you have read them, or list any books that you may think were good.
I think this could be especially helpful to our new comers who were recently diagnosed with PCOS and/or insulin resistance.
"Positive Options for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS)" written by Christine Craggs-Hinton and Adam Balen, M.D.
"What to do when the doctor says it's PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome)" written by Milton Hammerly, M.D. and Cheryl Kimball.
"The Insulin Resistance Diet" written by Cheryle R. Hart, M.D. and Mary Kay Grossman, R.D.
If you don't like spending a lot of money on brand new books, I would check out Amazon.com...I got the last book off of Amazon for $7.
Well, hope everyone has a good day!
