Default Is following The Abs Diet worth the effort?

Hi everybody,

By starting this discussion, I intend to share my views about The Abs Diet with you people. I have been able to shed my weight considerably by following this diet. The Abs Diet involves eating healthy food in six meals per day to lose excess weight starting from your belly. This diet program gives emphasis on the foods, which we can eat rather than the foods we should not eat. This approach can be a great help when it comes following this plan for the whole of your life.

This diet is against too much consumption of high-fructose corn syrup, saturated fat, trans fatty acids and refined carbohydrates. It advocates eating the healthy and lower-calorie, appetite reducing, foods you can find in the Abs Diet. An exercise plan is also part of this diet to ensure a comprehensive solution for weight loss.

Thanking you for your replies in advance.

I had never actually heard of this book before but it sounds very much like the program I had come up with for myself after taking little bits and pieces from a lot of other published diets. It sounds to me like a common sense approach and a return to basic nutrition. Again, I haven't read the book so this may be in there too, but I also eliminated artificial sweeteners and processed foods that have the word "hydroginated" in the ingredient list. Seems to be working out well for me - although I needed to lose more from um, south of the abs, by sticking with those basic rules, I'm paring down pretty evenly all over.

I've never done the Abs Diet, but can attest to two people who did.
Two gentlemen at work did the Abs Diet and both lost about 30 pounds apiece! Everyone on the floor (about 250 people) were amazed. I do know the guys did work out everyday while following the program, but they been working out previously.
