Hi chicks,
Lately I have been walking 2 - 3 hours a day. It's great exercise, I am droping alot of pounds. I do it for alot of reasons . . . to lose weight, yes, I know some of you will say this is the wrong reason, but I also want to drop weight so I can walk into my ex's bar on New Years Eve and show him what he missed out on!!!
Here's my question. It's pouring out and I tried walking but gave up when the wind started wiping water into my eyes. So, Ideas for indoor low impact exercise I can do today? I feel guilty about not walking today!!!!

Do you have stairs in your house? Or a mall you can drive to and walk at? Do some in home circuit sets. For example:
25 jumping jacks
wall sits (put your back up against the wall as if you were sitting in a chair. Hold the position for 30 seconds.)
Wall jumps (Pick a high spot on your wall and mark it. Jump and hit that spot 20 times)
Lunges
Plank holds (get down on your tummy. Hold yourself in the pushup position making sure that your butt is down and abs are tight. Hold that position for 20 seconds.)
crunches
Stuff like that. :) Your body might really respond to the change up in exercise. :)

Can you spend some money? How about getting those "Walk Away the Pounds" tapes. I have them, and I think they're actually pretty good!

I love exercise videos! I really like the Biggest Loser ones (esp. the first one). You can get a pretty intense workout doing those!
Denise Austin has an indoor walking one that I like, too.

I can't say enough about the Leslie Sansone Walk away the pounds dvd's. They are effective and easy for a uncoordinated klutz like me to follow along :)
She has 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 Mile dvd's plus a plethora of dvd's for abs, heart health, toning and what-not.
Give them a try....I use them in the winter here on the west coast of Canada when the rain does not stop for months on end (or so it seems!).
Videos are great.. I have pretty much every Billy Blanks Tae Bo video ever made.. LOL.
I like to do some of circuit stuff mentioned above too.. I also have elastic bands and a mini trampoline.
