I have great news to share from yesterday. I started my WOE in August and I just had bloodwork done and my cholestrol has improved significantly. :carrot:

Total Cholestrol is down 14 pts. to 208 (still high but better), and Triglcerides are down 138 pts. to 118 (normal).

I'm almost normal. Oh and my fasting blood sugar was down 10 pts. to 122 (need to be under 100 because I'm type 2 diabetic). So getting off meds is in my near future which is one of my short term goals.


Yay me!!!!!!!!!!!!!:o

Ain't it grand? :bravo: I know the first time I actually made my doctor smile at me (instead of the usual clucking, frowning and lecturing) I was on :cloud9: for days. Keep it up :cheer:

That is awesome! I remember having my blood tests done after I had been doing Atkins the first time and my cholesterol was 148. My dr had never seen a number that low before, LOL!
