Default Heart Rate Monitor

Well I am not a beginner walker but I would not classify myself as a expert. I am really doing well on an eating plan and now I want to do well on my walking. I was wondering what peoples feelings are on heart rate monitors and which one they think is the best. I am currently looking at the Polar F11? Any thoughts on it?

thanks,
Menzy

I have the Suunto T4. My husband has the T3. He purchased the multi-sport pack that also had the GPS Pod.

The Suunto HRM come with wrist watch and chest strap. There are extra sport specific pods that will sync with the watch.

I initally purchased the Timex Ironman one, but it sucked! I took it back and got the Suunto instead. I love it!

My husband also bought a Timex ironman and he likes it a lot. I like it too but I like my Polar more. I do think it is very useful for keeping track of workouts. I love it.

I have an F11 and I think it was a good investment. The strap that comes with some of the cheaper models can be very irritating to wear during exercise.
