I was wondering why my weight loss had sped up, then slowed. Why I suddenly couldn't stand the smell of scrambled eggs, or had to get at least 10 hours of sleep per night. What I wondered about most, was why my period was 1 day of light pink spotting.
Um, gee! A surprise? Well, all I can say is, make the best of it if that's your choice! Weight loss would be out for awhile, but remember, you wouldn't really be eating for two...
This will be my 4th. Maybe we'll have a boy this time. My biggest peeve is that I have to quit smoking. Luckily, I've already dropped a third of the weight I needed to, and my OB has [in the past] been OK with up to a 2 pound per week loss during the first 5 months. I'm going to back off the low carb, pick up the pace on light strength training and cardio, and hope that I don't lose ground.
Ah ha!! It makes sense to you now. Isn't it great that old Ma Nature gives us 9 monthes or so to get used to the idea. Just remember that it's even more important to eat well now. We'll be here for you.
Congrats - you'll stop freaking and it will sink in soon.

Congrats!! That is awesome. You know, i have heard from a lot of pg friends that they didn't gain, if they were overweight, or that they didn't gain too much. Good luck!!
