Exercise! - Starting workout videos, and I want a buddy! Anyone?

Hey all, in the next few days I plan to start a new exercise video (thinking of Jillian's 30 day shred combined with a hula/belly dancing video), and I'd like an online buddy to share my progress with and to help each other stay motivated.

It'd be nice if we were in similar situations, but I'm willing to buddy up with anyone who's looking to share the experience.

About me:
I have little experience exercising, and I'm pretty out of shape! It might be tough at first to get acclimated to a workout video.

I'm 22, and 255 pounds...calorie counting, and I've been losing 2-3lbs per week for the last two months.

Thinking about doing Jillian's 30 day shred, because a lot of people on 3FC seem to love it, but I'm open to discussing other videos with you.

I also plan to continue with a combo of hula and belly dancing! It's so much fun, and I plan to get rockin abs... (but if you only want to stick to one video, no prob!)

I plan to do it everyday, with the exception of my boyfriend's "weekends" off (actually thurs and fri), unless I can get the house to myself on those days, it will be 5 days per week.

Hope someone is interested! And if I find a buddy, please feel free to use this thread to meet up with your own buddies!

There is a group on the 20-somethings page for the 30 day shred. I personally am not doing a video right now because I have a trainer, but would be willing to be your buddy. We can still make sure that the other is doing what they committed to. I am trying to be active on 3FC so that I am held more accountable for my day to day efforts towards weight loss. I want to actually lose the weight for life this time. I am even going to try to have multiple buddies. I think we all have something to help each other out with.

About me: I am 20, almost 21, 5'7" and 195lbs.
I am a 3rd Year Chemical Engineering student at UF and an die hard football fan. Also, I am terribly optimistic.

If you dont mind me doing a different exercise plan than you, then I would love to be your buddy.

Kelly: I'll be your buddy! I need someone to 'report' to or I'm just sooo lazy.

I have the 30 day shred DVD, and a couple of others (Walk away the pounds and hip hop abs) so I can mix it up. I'm also trying to go to the gym on a regular basis. We'll see.

I'm 23.

I haven't weighed myself in a couple of weeks though...so I'm not 100% certain where I am on my weight.
