I have heard people talking about getting "the foamies" and I am wondering if I am experiencing that. I vomitted yesterday and it was a white foamy vomit. Wasn't sure what to make of it....
Sounds like you might have the foamies......what I was told was that the opening to my bowel was swollen and things couldn't pass through very well. I would eat a purple popcicle and purple foam would come right back up. Looked like a shaving cream can. I did this for over a week. Occasionally I still do it because I eat too fast and then take a sip of water to get it settled. I will throw up foamy water. Eat slowly, stake small bites and don't be a pig like me!
Happened a lot at first when I drank too much at one time. Helps to remind me not the drink too fast! Not a horrid aspect of surgery but an unpleasant one.
This happens to me when I certain food...chicken is my biggest offender. Also sometimes pork and beef jerky do it too. Even if I take little bites and chew, chew, chew.....I have a grouchy pouch though. Somedays she's settled and then other days...YUCK-O!!
