okay, you have to go into this with an open mind :)

i tried this and thought it RESEMBLED the taste of mc donalds fries, and just to prove it to myself, i told my sister in law to try them with her eyes closed and she agreed it SORT OF tasted like micky d's.

so if you are feeling adventerous heres the recipe:

1 can of green beans (not cut) drained and blotted dry with a paper towel.

spray a cookie sheet with olive oil pam then put your beans on.

drizzle 1 teaspoon of olive oil over beans and season with your favorite seasoning, i used hooters seasoning salt.

bake at 425 for 15 minutes, take out of the oven stir them up and put them back in for 15 minutes.

i dipped mine in ketchup and tangy horseradish sauce. not bad at all.

this was supposed to be made with fresh green beans, but since i didnt have any, i thought i'd try this.

honest it is actually pretty good.

Ok, I've tried 4 or 5 times now to make green beans like this and I cannot for the life of me get them to crisp up any. They always come out shrivled and mushy. What am I doing wrong???

I can never get mine to crisp either. I just buy the premade ones from Trader Joe's.

I use fresh green beans and they crisp up every time! I use my toaster oven at 400 degrees.

I think I'm green bean challenged. :) I do mine in the toaster oven as well. I'll try again this weekend. Maybe I'll make it another photo project and people can critique! :D
