Default What would you do?

So far today I've eaten all of my daily calories which is about 1550. It's only 6:30 and I'm just starving! Tummy's growling and all. I don't normally go to bed until about midnight so I've got 6 hours of hunger to deal with! Shame on me for eating all my calories too early in the day!

Would you have an apple or something just to help the growling?

It's better to deal with where you are at this moment (needing to eat something reasonable), and continue on tomorrow, than to starve for 6 hours and binge on something tonight or tomorrow. Plus it's just so much nicer We set some crazy high standards on ourselves and what we expect ourselves to suffer through. You're a human!

Sometimes fruit will end up making you more hungry in a couple of hours. I would eat something with protein to lessen the hunger. Yogurt, low fat cheese- you should be able to get eat something substantial with protein for 50-100 calories and that really won't impact your calories for the day.

There is no way I would go hungry.

Likke Lifechange, I would eat - and make it something with protein. An egg white omlette. A salad with a small can of tuna. A non-fat yogurt with some Fiber One cereal thrown in.

Yes, I would eat something, anywhere from 50 to 200 calories, to get me through the next six hours. One day at up to 1800 calories isn't going to make much of a difference in terms of your weight loss.

I would also have a nice, big, calorie-free beverage. Around 12 to 20 oz. And if I got hungry again a few hours later, I'd have another big, calorie-free beverage (although don't drink too much right before going to bed or you'll be up peeing all night).

And, unless there was some reason I needed to be up to midnight, I might just go to bed a little earlier as well.

What everyone else said. Something with protein. Eat.

Just accept that you're going to go over by 250 or so calories today. 250 calories won't make you fat. Not eating and then being STARVING at 10:30 and binging on whatever you can lay your hands on ... THAT will make you fat.

I always have this problem! I went through a stage a few months ago when i didnt eat after 5pm and it helped me lose sooo much weight but after a couple of weeks, it got too much and i had such a bad binge. I spend the whole night stuffing my face with fish and chips (so british but you should try it!!), chocolate brownies, anything i could get my hands on! I will never make that mistake again... I try not to eat too late but if i get hungry a do eat something small, or i just go to bed to forget about it!
