Their "eat this instead" still makes me cringe:

Burger King Egg & Cheese Croissan'wich
* 300 calories
* 17 g fat (6 g saturated; 2 g trans)
* 740 mg sodium
* 26 g carbs

Good grief. I could fix myself eggs and bacon and cheese on a whole wheat english muffin for about the same calories and 1/2 the fat, 1/4 of the sodium, and fewer carbs.

Scary.

These meals are for people-on-the-go. I am always running out the door, but I have gotten into the habit of having a yogurt, bananna or some other fruit, and coffee. That or cereal. Inexpensive and better for me.:D

I eat breakfast sitting down at home, even though it means getting up earlier to do it. My hubby has less time in the morning than I do, because I frequently will wait until after I've dropped him off at work and done my workout before getting a shower. He's gotten in the habit of making several egg and biscuit or egg and toast sandwiches on the weekend and refridgerating them for future breakfasts.

Not only are they a lot healthier than ANYTHING offered by McD's or BK, but they save us a ton of money!

Same here. I'd probably scrape the side of my car if I had to go into a drive-through.:dizzy::D

He's gotten in the habit of making several egg and biscuit or egg and toast sandwiches on the weekend and freezing them for future breakfasts.Yup. This is so easy to do and so much healthier than the fast-food alternative.
