20-Somethings - Drivers License Weight
09-28-2008, 05:26 PM
My next mini goal is only 7 pounds away: 180. I chose this because it's the weight that's listed on my drivers license. When I get to 180, it'll be the first time in YEARS that this weight has been not only accurate, but even close to what is listed! I'll be even more pumped when the weight listed is inaccurate because it's too high, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there:-)
I was just interested in seeing how close your weights are to the ones you've got listed. Are they way under now? over?
Please share! I think this will be interesting..

My old license said 250 when I was at my start weight. No it says 190. That was renewed in April. I will get it it renewed once agin (new pic) when I get below that weight. Yippy! I cant wait to pay the $25.00 :D

I've had to get three new licenses in the last two years due to moving so much, so mine is accurate.

Mine says 175... haha but I was pregnant with my son at the time and I know that was a huge lie! I'd be happy to be 175 again though :).

We don't have to put weights on our licenses here in Massachusetts (at least not since I have had my license). I don't think I would like that at all! haha
ETA: I went and checked it out and in Mass, they just put your height and sex on there.

I realized during my weight loss journey that I was actually way below my license! That was a good feeling. When I got the license, I put 150 on it (totally lying) and promptly covered the weight with my organ donor sticker! I am now a good 20 pounds under the weight so I want to keep the sticker on still!

I'm now about 30lb below what my license says. My photo also doesn't look like me any more - since the last time I got the photo done, I was 60lb heavier, had long hair, and it was lighter.
When I hit my goal, I'll go get a new license with a picture that actually looks like me. :)

Mine says 160, and I am now 154 :D. But it won't be any fun when I'm 130 and it still says 160!

Mine is 45 pounds heavier than I actually am. At that time of the old weight it was probably abot 40 pounds lighter than my actual weight at the time.

Mine says 180. I will be so thrilled when I reach that goal! Might take me awhile, but I will get there.
09-28-2008, 07:36 PM
Mine said 170, I was kidding myself then. Since then they have took the weight off.

Mine says 140 and it's from 2 years ago--I probably weighed 150 at the time. Now I weigh about 166.
I like the idea of having a driver's license that's too heavy, it reminds you that you're really accomplishing something. I used to have to check IDs and there would be a few that were obviously from heavier days--I thought, that's great, you really lost a lot of weight, good for you!

Mine says 150, the weight I told them when I was in High School, and I was probably lying then. I'm hoping to be close to that weight again soon!
09-28-2008, 07:57 PM
mine is 120. pretty close to what i am now.
09-28-2008, 08:05 PM
Mine says 150 too! Must be the standard lie. :D
But hey, it's only a pound or two off now...

Well I just moved to Nevada and before that I never had to have a weight on my license in Michigan so I never worried about it. But now mine says 200 which is pretty close to what I am. I can't wait to get married and change it to a better number:)

Mine expires next year, I got it quite a while ago. It says 150 and I was probably about 160 at the time. My military ID on the other hand... says 135. So I'm pretty much right inbetween the two, lol.

MI drivers license don't have weights on them (they are in the secetary of states computer) but I was at my highest weight (300 pounds) last time I got mine. My birthday is next week so I'm going and renewing it today and am so excited to finally have a decent picture.
09-29-2008, 10:32 AM
mine says 195...HA! I haven't been that small since I was 11, but I refused to 200 and something.
09-29-2008, 11:58 AM
Mine says 115. 6 pesky more pounds to go! :carrot:
09-29-2008, 01:11 PM
Mine says 165. When I got my permit, they said I could lie, so I thought 165 was a good lie for me at that time. I am pretty close to that now, could probably even get away with it. I don't even think we should have a weight on our licenses since a lot of people lie. My mom weighs 300lbs and her license says 150, she giggles every time she has to get it renewed and they ask her if she wants to change anything and she says no.
09-29-2008, 02:14 PM
mine says 120--- i had to check it cause i couldnt remember---anyway at the time i probably weighed about 130 --- and i weigh even more now--- my weight gain was totally unhealthy-- i put on like 20 pounds in one year got married continued to gain ---got pregnant at 155 and put on another 46lbs--- so desperately trying to lose those
09-29-2008, 08:26 PM
hah mine says 250 and I'm definitely not that that - being at my license weight is actually one of mini goals hehe
09-30-2008, 03:06 AM
i was in the 200s....
only just but still the 200s....

Florida doesn't do weights...but I want to get a new picture when I reach my goal, since I was probably around 220 at the initial picture. However, when I was still in WA, my license said 260 and I was probably 275. I still keep that old temp one they gave me in my wallet to remind myself how far I've come...and to show others who don't believe me what my face used to look like. :D

They don't weigh you here, but you do have to tell them your weight. It's not printed on your license (thank goodness!), but it's encoded in the magnetic strip thingy on the back.
Anyway, mine says 170. I truly have no idea how much I weighed when I got it, though. I just made up a number.
09-30-2008, 06:24 PM
Mine says 135. I was about 138 at the time and thought 135 sounded better. Then I gained about 50lbs in a year and a half, but I'm gettin back to it dangit!
09-30-2008, 06:37 PM
mine says 180, hasn't changed since I was 17, and even then, it was off at least 10 lbs if not more. I'm not sure words will express what I'll feel when I actually hit 180 again.
