100 lb. Club - October goals

:write: Since we're starting a new month on Wednesday I think we should start thinking about our October goals.
lose 10 lbs :goodscale
excercise EVERY day - will get the shred - hope I don't croak :rofl:
visit 3FC daily - to stay on track
stay upbeat and start accepting invitations to go out and socialize
Get involved in the challanges

Great goals, Krista! I think the exercise will definitely help you with slimming down. And I should probably take your lead. :P
- Drop 11 pounds, dropping 2 BMI points and getting out of the 220s
- Exercise at least 3 mornings a week
- Wake up in time to exercise on those mornings
- Stay under 30 carbs per day
- Fit into my size 16 pants by Halloween

work on my bad attitude! seriously- this has to change. even i am sick of me.
work out at least 4 times a week, get myself up to level 4 on the bike.
fit into my cold weather pants already! i'm scared that fall is gonna come before i can fit into them! :)

My goals this month:
Lose 10 pounds
Work out at least 3 x a week
Make better food choices

My goal is to stay on plan and exercise most days. I joined the points challenge this month and it really helped me keep on track.

I will be re-starting my beginning running program. By the end of October, I will be able to run for 2 minute intervals for an hour.

Keep walking 5 days a week, even if my walking partner gets a job and leaves me.
Stop letting soda call my name.. water is good.
Try to keep a good attitude... I will be fit when hubby gets back!

to lose weight. Doesn't matter how much just as long as the scale goes down.
Get my workouts in and get a plan that will work.
Continue to look into things that may help me stay on plan.

My main goal for October would be to make it under the 300's! The day I hit 299 I will be a happy camper...

My goals this month are:
To lose four pounds this month
Start exercising the first week in October
Visit 3 fat chicks at least once a day
weigh myself once a week
Drink more water

I like the idea of monthly goals. I need some more accountability here. :)
Here are mine. For the month of October I will:
Stay on plan during the week 100% (that means 1500-1600 cals a day, no excuses).
Limit myself to one non-counting meal on the weekends (instead of multiple times as I have been doing).
Get to the gym 5x per week and continue working on Phase 1 of NROLW
Take my vitamins every day.

My October Goals:
Lose 10 lbs
Go to the gym 5 x a week - push myself each time I'm there.
Stay OP (stick to my daily points)
Get weighed and measured at the gym by Oct 17th as that will
be the 12th week that I have been at the gym.

get in the 220's
increase my work out time by 10 mins (to 70 mins) and 5 days a week
don't go overboard for my birthday

Get up and moving by 7:30 am
Get up to 45 mins on the eliptical (did 30 mins for the first time saturday)
Add 5 reps to weight toning

My October goals -
-hit the gym often, and be dedicated
-refuse to buy halloween candy until Halloween day, and give away as much as I can so there are no leftovers.
-lose about 15 lbs as part of my BL challenge
-find a way to stay healthier, and try NOT to get sick again.

Oh Ginger! I hadn't even thought about Halloween candy. Ok, further resolved: to not buy any candy until Oct 30th (or maybe even the afternoon of Oct 31st).

Stay away from rice cakes (for me they're like chips, I can't eat just one)
I always buy Halloween candy that I don't like, but that my Dh does so I'm not tempted

WOW! I am so glad that I found this thread. I have joined the Christmas Challenge, but I really like the idea of monthly goals.
1. Exercise 6/7 days
2. NO CHEATS on eating plan. (I am on the Ct. weight and wellness high protein/low carb/low cal. diet)
3. ONLY get on the scale 1x week (I get too discouraged otherwise)
4. Keep my attitude in check - this is a lifestyle change.

I can't believe it's almost October already!
Here are my goals:
~ Drink more water (I have the water bottle, I should use it!)
~ Get the resistance level on the elliptical up to 13 (I'm at 10 right now and it's killer!)
~ Start doing some weights
~ Have more on plan days than off plan days
~ Lose 9 pounds (my goal is to be at 220 by Thanksgiving, but with only 9lbs to go, I think I can be there sooner!)

Gumboot - Water used to be hard for me too. What do you drink with meals? I'm one of those people who HAVE to be drinking when eating and LOVE my diet coke. I vowed to only drink water with my food and that made me drink much more water and eat less! Just an idea! :)

Get back to biking every day. I was aiming for every other day but skipping days turns into skipping weeks. I think I have to do it EVERY DAY for it to become a habit again.

Lose 10lbs or more.
Keep up with my weekly meal planning.
Stick to the 30-day shred, no matter how hard it may be!
Start walking 30 min 4-5 days a week.
DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
