Default My double chinny, chin, chin!!

It's part genetic and part my fat butt! Is the only way to get rid of it though overall weight loss or can I somehow exercise it?
It's my #1 hated spot on my body. I feel like everyone is staring at it!

I'm sure it's not as bad as you feel it is, but I know what you mean. I have "problem" spots that I am especially self conscious of.

Yes, I find a great double chin exercise is, put your head all the way back, like your looking toward the ceiling, open your jaw, and try to put your bottom lip over your top lip. You can do this standing or sitting down. You can feel all the muscles in your neck and jaw stretching.

Unfortunately you cannot "spot lose". Exercise will help firm it up, but ultimately you'll have to lose over all in order to lose the chin as well.

Sucks, I know!

My double chin pretty much disappeared between 180 and 170 pounds. It was really wierd because the rest of my changed a little, but I stayed pretty much the same pant size etc. The extra chin, though, went bye-bye. That and my bustline! I went from a DD to a C cup in a 15 pound drop. I am afraid to see what happens from here on out...

The face exercises are really good for toning facial muscles and improving skin elasticity, but you really cannot spot lose the fat under your chin -- keep up the good work, and it should start disappearing on its own.

You know... dont be afraid - you should lose that as your motivation to lose that weight! Just stick in there and the chin will go. I'm in the same boat if it wasn't for my chin I probably would look half as big as I actually am.. but that's life.
