Hi all!

i figured our thread could use a new life!

so let's kick it up a notch!

i've been like off the wagon, so its time to put it back into high gear.
here are my goals:

1. stay on plan
2. work out 5 days a week

okay, we can do this!

so yeah, here is my first check-in.

ugh i'm so frustrated because i have been off plan ALL weekend so i gained back some. i know its not impossible to get back down to where i was, but for some reason i am harboring this "all or nothing" defeatist attitude, that, since i messed up, that its IMPOSSIBLE.

HELP!

no all or nothing!!!

you will make mistakes but you will have victories as well! the biggest victory is getting back OP after the mistake. its so easy to stay OP with no obstacles but those of us who are really strong can fall down and get back up! (there joy that should kick u in the butt)


i began WW flex on Sunday and its working out well i know how much i should be eating and i'm not overdoing it. i am incorporating the abs diet for women guidelines and i think this will be what works for me. lets hope guys!

how the boyfriend joy???

My goals are to stay on plan with eating for as long as i did in my last good run- i think it was about a month without going over or under my limits. I nearly had a heart attack yesterday when i thought i had had 400 calories too many and couldnt figure out how- then i realised on the daily plate one unit of ginger nuts was actually 4 biscuits, and since i'd had 3 i had written 3 in the box- meaning it thought i had had 12 >.<

oh man, tonight i had this weird craving for a pb sandwich.. and i was trying to ignore it because i really want to stay op, so instead i made a small concession and had a tsp of pb [after reading the nutrition facts, of course], and washed it down with 16 oz of water.. craving satisfied without wrecking my day! annnd i went to the gym this morning and walked the dog after class tonight!

allright, guys, its been a weird day. i got up and went to the day spa with my friend so i sort of ate off plan a little bit.. however, i stayed on plan for the rest of the day and found the time to go to the gym after class even though i was beat... i guess we'll see the results of this tomorrow!

hey guys!!!

i have been OP since sunday!!!


rant - today was my cheat meal and i found out that ONE oatmeal raisin cookie at panera bread was like 400 calories and all the fat i eat in a normal day i was sooooo pissed. my sandwich and soup together was 7 points the cookie by itself was 9. it was so not worth it. i will not eat it next time.

other than that ive been doing good just need to exercise.

have a good rest of the week!

i did pretty good today, i was tired but i still went to the gym and managed to run about 4km and cycle around 5.8ish :carrot: im getting my evening snacking back under control again, by keeping a water bottle with me and sipping that instead of snacking, since i know my snacking is just procrastination

hey guys!

omg, it's so crazy.. so long story short, the best friend and i are now an item.. its so weird because i havent been in a relationship in like, four years! its both exciting and scary at the same time... it seems like everyone on 3fc has a sig so at least i have access to people who are in proper relationships..

i skipped the gym friday in lieu of going to disneyland.. as a result i maintained, but i think i really needed just a brain break, so i don't regret going... im thinking of going to the gym tonight to make up for it, but im also pretty tired.. at least i'll walk the dog or something...

bjeweled--- i didnt know the cookie was so crazy! gj on the looking out for next time!

ghost-- mad props on the skipping out on snacks for water.. im trying to drink more water again!

thank you! It went ok today i think *fingers crossed* grrr, i got a phone job interview today and they said they would call to do it at 6pm but they havent :mad: im hoping they just got busy or forgot and will call me tomorrow

on a better note i have been under 1500 since sunday (that doesnt sound like a lot but its wednesday here so i think its pretty good :D) except for today when i had 1511 lol :D im totally proud of myself

Hi All! It has been ages since I have been on here! Long story short - broke up with fiancee so have been busy sorting out stuff.

But anyways.... I have been so off plan the last couple of weeks. Started to eat right the last couple of days and after missing a weigh in last week, today I weighed in and found i have lost 0.4kg :carrot:

Definitely need to get my butt back on that exercise bike

My goals:
1. Stay OP over the weekend
2. Get in at least 3 x 30mins sessions on the bike before next Friday

Ok, well, I have to say I have been having problems yesterday and today. I have been on the diet for 11 days and yesterday and today were really hard. It's like I am really sick of eating the healthy stuff and want to eat pizza and hamburgers, and cookies. I had made some low fat low cal coconut macaroons, which were more like merangues, and they were 33 cals each and 1 gram of fat, and maybe a little less because I made them small and it made more than the recipe said it would, but I still count them as the books says. So, anyways, I managed to eat a bunch of them yesterday, and a bunch of them today, without even realizing how many I ate. Well, unfortunatly and thank god, they are now gone. Unfortunatly because I ate them, and thank god, because I can't eat anymore and I will not be baking goodies either. I think when I get that gotta have it craving I will just buy a serving of something at the store and do that. But I managed to stay within my calories and even ate a serving of chicken nuggets, (SOOOOOO good with honey). So, I figured I would share my bad two days, and move on. I actually feel a lot better doing it so now I don't have to fight those cravings so much. I also did do 20 on the elliptical this morning. Thanks for letting me vent, oh and my goal is to stick with my excercise goal, 60 mins a week cardio and 60 mins a week weight training.

hi all! i've been on plan this week, for the most part, but ive been slacking on the gym-- i skipped tuesday because i had a doctors appointment about my sports related injury and yesterday because i had a job interview and then class so i didnt have time.. im planning on "getting back on the horse" and going today.. yay!

ive missed u all! i have been on and off the wagon. there are less than 30 days till the election and i am working 10-12 hrs day. i dont think i have gained at all so that is good. i plan to begin going to the gym after work as soon as possible hopefully starting friday.

i just see the days going by and dont want to be close to this big at the new year.

I think that occasionally going over by a good number of calories can actually help with weight loss if you stick to things the rest of the time. Keeps your body guessing, and kicks up the weight loss into high-gear.
Or so I've been told, I'm no expert. ;)

I hope you hear from that job soon! Fingers crossed that you got it? And if not, a hearty screw them. ;)

Ducky: I'm the same as you. If I've got yummy cookies or snacks around, I WILL eat them. There's no such thing as portion control in my mind, so it's just easier not to have them around. In the past, when I've had entire bags of Sour Cream and Onion chips, I've eaten three-quarters of the way through the bag. Then I throw them out. But realise that folded in the bag, sitting ontop of the crumpled paper in my garbage, I could still eat them... so in a snap of willpower, I've actually poured water into the bag to effectively RUIN the chips and prevent me from eating them. Talk about extremes, eh?

Sucky for the non-OP weekend, but EVERY day is a new day! Rock out the new health kick. :D

As for me... I'm just getting started again. Last time I was here I went from 176 down to 160ish, and it was amazing. Tho I bounced up a little big again, it wasn't by much, and I've been able to keep myself at 160 for quite some time.

So, back to 3FC to keep things moving lower and towards my eventual goal! I weighed in at 157 this morning, but I can't trust my body, so the ticker doesn't change until I believe that it's off for good. ;) But I feel fabulous, and motivated and really excited that after only 2 days of being OP, the teeter-tottering of my scale between 161 and 159 has dropped lower than I've seen it in... almost 10 months? Maybe 11, actually...? YAY.

My goal is to stop skipping meals just because i had an extra cookie in the morning.

And take 2 days off from exercise each week.

2 day cycling/ 2 days running / 1 day weights.

I know this wasn't written to me, but that isn't good about the tummy. Good luck with staying in the 170's

As for me I get my sensewear on friday and hope that will help me not stress eat while finishing up the moving. :)

i think i am ready to be serious i have figured out what i needed to do and am at peace with myself.

joy - u have come so far u have to find that part of you that wants to reach your goal. dont just stop because you are comfortable. you can push through this. i look at how far you have come and know that i can do it if i just take it one day at a time.

ghost - u are looking good girl i hope the bingeing is over let me know how yr doing.
