Thumbs down Search rant

Am I the only one who gets super frustrated by our search settings here? EVERY TIME I forget it has to be 4 letter words... Why? why do I forget and why in the world can't we search for ...um, say, bee. lol. 1 word? Not what I was looking for but why can't we? then, after it rejects my search I try again and it tells me, sorry you just performed a search... 60 seconds between them please. Try again in 46 seconds... GEEZE Louise!!!
Now, I don't even remember what the heck I was searching for~!!

yeah, it drives me crazy too because I always misspell the word or forget and put in a 3-letter word.

The only thing that really bugs me is the '60' second wait time between searches.
I'm a very impatient person.

Default Use Google

Skip the search here, it is just an exercise in frustration. I use an advanced Google search of just this website and I've been able to find anything/everything I've ever needed.

(sigh) I understand the reasoning but it doesn't help those of us with short term memory *issues* who still try to search on "NSV" at least once a week

It happens to me too--the forgetting part. Guess we're all getting old!

Suzanne's explanation makes sense, though. I hate waiting for things online. If we can't even wait 60 seconds, can you imagine what would happen if the whole forum slowed down?
