Food Talk And Fabulous Finds - tofu steaks

found a new and delish tofu item- they are Helen's Kitchen Gardensteak Tofu Steaks.

I made them and put them in a wrap w/ a bunch of veggies and then made them again on top of a spicy stir fry. They are quite tasty and I thought pretty reasonably priced, considering they are a convenience food and it came from Market of Choice which is always kind of expensive.

I tried those, too! I honestly wasn't sure about them when I bought them, but I really did like them. It was a nice change from regular tofu, and it didn't seem tofu-ish :lol:

Maybe the fact that they didn't seem Tofu-ish was why my husband gobbled them um. hmmm.

i think you're right because there are veggies and stuff in there- it felt a little more like a garden burger (which i despise for some reason) or TVP.

I went to "My Organic market" today and saw these on sale so I picked them up. I might've passed on them if I hadn't seen this post earlier.
