Trudy, thanks for saving us labor. I'm enjoying a quiet evening, and know that the 'kids' are having a great time being romantic i'm sure away from the 'old folks'.

Slavika: Glad the glazing job turned out so well. When one tries something new there is always the element of worry if it going to be okay or a waste of money.

Hi all. Have a nice weekend!:D::D::D:  Ann

Woke up to a blanket of snow today. We have the wedding this afternoon and evening. It is sunny so it should melt. The rehearsal dinner was at a local winery. We had a wine tasting then we got a choice of steak, chicken or fish. They brought it to you raw and then you went and cooked it on these big grills. They had a buffet line for the extras. It was fun and would have been better if they would have had more of the grill going. Slavika you do have way too many men in your life lately. Are the neighbors talking? Have a nice weekend. Peggy

Hi!

They sent me away early for work. was suppose to go next week but ended up going last week. ALAS. Was told Tuesday and on a plane Wednesday morning. Got back last night and have been running around like a mad women trying to get things done.

Slavika: Glad the tub is finally. The bathroon must be beutiful now! Did you get your new towels and everything up? I see you need a new shower curtain. Youll fine what you want. Sometimes its easier when its done to go looking.

Ann: Your park does sound like a great place to live. Sounds like there is lots to do to which would make it nice. Your family sounds like mine. We are spread out all over and dont get to see each other very much.

Trudy: I havent heard from Margot. She is such a busy lady. Havent seen the pictures of Lisa wedding. Guess I better go hunting and check them out :)

Glenda: Had to laugh at the other men in Slavikas life to  Some of them you wouldnt want around :)

Peggy: Sounds like the rehearsal dinner was fun. Different way to do it. Its a really good idea!

Maria: when are your tests again? Im glad the homesickness is subsiding a little anyways.

well best get busy. Still have a million things to do.
Later!

Good morning all,

Should have posted before this but have been on the run again. DH test came back ok. He just needs to learn to handle stress better and to slow down a bit. He has cabin fever from not working for more than a week so Friday we spent the day on St Cloud . He was shopping for Amtrak clothes. :dizzy: We are going to Chicago by Amtrak the 31 of May so he thought he needed new traveling clothes. He was a busy boy.

I was at a Bridal Shower yesterday down in Maple Grove for one of my younger cousins. She getting married June 1st that is why the trip to Chicago. I am excited about it I've been to the Chicago Airport and driven though it in the middle of the night but never have I really been there.

Ann the park you live in is what we have been thinking of. So have been checking out some of the Snow Bird web sites. Slavika maybe some day we will be living in the same place:cool:

Well got to go the cabin fever man is champing at the bit.

G'day all,
A very busy weekend at an end again. DD and her dh left Sydney for Melbourne again last night.
We had a nice time though I have some mixed emotions about it all. It is very evident to both dh and myself that they are quite resentful of our son living rent free in our home in Adelaide.:(
We pointed out that they got the first option to live in our home because we felt they had the most need both being students. However it would have been quite an unheaval for them to have moved back to Adelaide from Melbourne and it would have been difficult to change their University courses so they declined the offer.
DH says not to worry about it and that it is there choice to live on student allowances and we will continue to help out as much as we can.
I won't go on about it other than I love my daughter dearly but we probably get on best living in different cities!!!!
This sunday ds and partner will be here for a week. They are both always very enthusiastic and have a lot planned for the week that they are here.

Trudy thank you for starting the new thread! Your nail must be better:)

Peggy a blanket of snow, wow. I am surprised you would still experience such cold weather at this time of the year.

Rita glad you are enjoying your new job, must be a bit of a breeze after working 12 hour days

Slavika hope all the men in your life have finished their tasks to your satisfaction and you are back to just having the one relationship:D

Lily Nice to see your abscense was only very temporarily :)

Karen good to hear all the tests for 'cabin fever man' ;) have come back OK.

Hi to everyone I haven't mentioned, have a great day.......
Cheers

Put our 'kids' on the plane tonight. They didn't want to leave, and we hated to see them go. But I know they had a good restful vacation, and it was good for my DD to get her mind off her troubles.:D:

I hate the first day or two of Daylight savings. I just can't seem to stay awake. Almost made a big 'booboo' in church. We have 8:00a.m. service and the yawns were coming thick and fast.

Karen: Glad your DH tests came out okay. What a relief.:D:
Come and visit our park. There are always places for sale, and we are about about 35 miles from Disney, and about 45 from downtown Orlando. We think it is a good place to live. We don't get the major problems from the hurricanes that happen on both coasts, and we are near enough that we can take a beach trip if we want.

Lily: Where did your unexpected trip take you?

Trudy: I couldn't get the card either. Thanks for thinking of us.

Ann I am with you. I hate these first few days of daylight savings time too. I especially hate it when we were out late the night before. Saturday the snow melted by noon. It was sunny but cold. It was a nice day for a wedding just a little chilly. My dh did a fine job of doing the reading in church. He remembered his Drew Carey's [glasses]. Karen you trip to Chicago should be a lot of fun. We have thought of taking the train there too. You will have let me know how it went. I am glad that the tests came back o.k. That has to be a big relief for you. Maria hang in there. You can never please your kids all the time. I am always in trouble for something. Lily that's where you were. I take it you didn't run into Bob anywhere. Boo Hoo! Trudy I couldn't get that card either. Now I am curious just what it was. Make this week a good one.

Maria - just had to add my 2 cents too. My kids very rarely have any envy toward each other, that I know of, because we do so little materially for them, but my sister has 4 grown kids. She is always in trouble with at least 1 of them. I know you love your kids--we all do, but where does it say that we have to be so "down-the-middle" in our help to them? And probably over the years, if it is averaged, we are. Just different times in their lives they need different things. And second of all, we can do what we want, can't we, with our own money? Well, off my soapbox. I know sibling rivalry, etc can be a trial. You are probably right about most of us--living in different cities can sure cure a lot of ills.

Peggy - I cannot believe that you had snow, even if it melted quickly. YUCK! Glad that is overwith for you. We have had a weekend of rain and that was gloomy enough even if we needed it.

Lily - where did you go? You don't usually travel with your work, do you?

Slavika - sounds like you had a spaceman in your bathroom this time. Oh my! Glad that is over. I have been wondering--do you have a special bathtub? Would a new one have cost a whole lot more than $280? I don't know bathtub pricing, but I know you have become the "John specialist." (hmmmm.....did that come out quite right?)

Rita - just talked to my daughter-in-law. She has worked 12 hour shifts at a major hospital as a supervising nurse at night for years, trying to make enough money to get my son through lawschool. She just took a new supervising nursing job for a home health agency and just loves it. She works days and is so enjoying her evenings at home and sleeping like regular people. I know your job sounds as if it is a welcome change too.

We had a restful (boring) weekend, but you have to have those once in awhile to do all the laundry at once. We did see "The Rookie" which was a really good movie. I highly recommend it.

I e-mailed Lily with the exact location of the "e-mail card", but if it isn't do-able I will personally e-mail you all the card... so funny.
Glenda I was completely lazy this past weekend too. Just watched TV, read a bit and ate a lot....
Maria Sibling rivalry is a tough one. I am 60, my brother is 65 and "sometimes" I get still get ticked. Not nice of me and completely unfair too, but we are human and if we are having a bad day this is a place to put our hostilities.
Ann Right now I think that all of us northern gals, Karen, Slavika & I should pack up and move to your park. This past weekend it snowed, rained and was generally gloomy.
Karen that is good news about your DH. Stress can cause us so much trouble. Going on the Amtrack looks like quite an adventure. We travelled by train once, but we didn't get a sleeper car... take my advice... GET A SLEEPER CAR. It is so hard trying to sleep on the coach.
Slavika.. I can't wait to see the "new bathroom". I am sure it is really lovely. How's the cold?

G'day all,

Another beautiful day here. As I am always doing everything opposite;) I can tell you that daylight saving stopped for us 2 weeks ago and it is lovely to have the extra hour.........

Received a phone call from dd last night to apologise for being so 'grumpy' whilst she was here.

Glenda I do wonder sometimes if we do too much (materially) for our kids. I guess I come from a background where everything I ever got I had to work very hard for in contrast to some of my friends...now that I am in a position that I can make life a little easier for my kids , I do it. Perhaps there is a happy medium. :)

Karen I had a look at the Amtrak website, this trainservice covers a lot of distance. I think train travel is great, far more relaxing than coach travel.
I agree with a sleeper though.........

I am going to the doctor after work to get the results of my blood tests, I don't feel quite as bad as when I was initially prompted to go to the doctors but still not feeling that great :(
I will have the colonoscopy after our son has been for his visit next week.

Very little to do at work so I have brought in my laptop. On my work computer I get up tutorials on using Adobe Photoshop and then do them on my laptop. It works a treat :D

Have a great day all
Cheers

Hi Everybody
Well my bathroom is all finished. I think it is looking very good. I am looking forward to my tea time friends (tomorrow) telling me what they think. I guess the nice thing is, that all of us have different tastes.......which is good, otherwise all our homes would look the same. I did find a "white on white" shower curtain, very sheer and bought a second white shower curtain (heavier one) as a liner....and it looks nice. The shower hooks are, navy blue round, big sort of button looking thingmes. I got some towels in bright yellow and some in navy. The picture I chose (one I had seen way back when I started looking for a toilet) is an olden day ocean/beach scene, with ladies in sheer day gowns and big white hats, and children in white and blue short pants, or romper outfits. The sky is blue with shades of yellow in it. I took all the colours from the picture and used that as my guide. For the window curtain I got an extra long, very sheer white one, and pulled it all to one side and secured it with a white cord with a tassel.
I had a busy weekend. I regrotted all the tile in the bathroom, because it no longer "looked" white against all the white fixtures and walls. It was a very loooong tedous job, but it truly paid off.
Karen I think taking a trip on the train would be great fun. I would like to go someplace, someday, by train. :) :) Glenda so you think I am a "John Specialist". I sure got a laugh from that. :D You know Glenda to buy and replace an existing tub can be done for just around $500.00. The $500.00 covers the cost of buying the tub and the removal of the old one and the installation of the new one. HOWEVER, it does not cover the cost of redoing the walls surrounding the tub, or any tile work that would have to be done. That also could be very expensive, and messy. Maria having just one child I don't run into the same kind of situations as friends that have more then one child, but I have two grandchildren. I know that I don't always give the same "dollar" amount of stuff to each child at the same time....but I believe in the long run it all evens out. I think parents and grandparents have a way of balancing things out with their children. :)
Ann if our weather continues to be bad, Trudy is right, we might all be looking for a place to stay in your park. :)
Night all.

My DH is having a vacation, as I havae developed laryngitis. I just squeak. Good for a lot of laughs.:D::D: Last night was not a good night, lots of coughing and just generally being miserable. I just hope that our kids didn't get too exposed to the bug. It would not be nice to come home from a lovely vacation, and then get sick.

Slavika: I tried your directions, got the page, found the card, and then it wouldn't load completely on my computer. But put the site in my favorites, and will try it again later. Just the picture advertising the card, is funny.

Maria: I kind of agree with everyone else about the sybling rivalry. It has always seemed to me that we need to help the ones who need it the most at the time. And sometimes, we also have to let them learn to help themselves. As was said, who says that our kids should make us feel guilty about how we use our money. Do we tell them how to spend theirs?:spin:

I am one of those 'spoiled only children' so I have never had to worry about the rivalry. But many times I wished I had a brother or a sister.

All of you are welcome to come down for a visit. If you all come at once, someone might be forced to sleep on an air mattress on the floor. But its been done before.:D: :D: I am very glad we don't have snow any more. I just enjoy our summer vacation up north, but am glad to come home.

Greetings to everyone. Talk to you later. I wish I would get the reminders of new posts. Something is wrong. I have even checked the box at the bottom of the page. Any ideas?

G'day all,

Slavika Did you get the seal of approval from your 'tea friends'? The bathroom sounds very nice, the picture you paint makes me think of it being, cool, crisp and sunny. It sounds very nice and eventhough you had a few hick-ups, it hasn't really taken that long.

Ann thanks for the invite to come and stay :D, one day.......I may just take you up on that promise:dizzy:
Hope you get over your laryngitis soon.

I went to the doctors last night for the results of my blood tests. It did show the traces of a virus and the other 'bad' news was that my cholestrol is really too high:( I said to her that I recently had it tested and was only told to see a doctor about my low blood pressure and not to worry too much about my cholestrol:?:
This morning I had had blood taken again to do one of those fasting type cholestrol tests and then I have to go and see her again.
I have been feeling better gradually so perhaps the traces of a virus in the blood now, was responsible for me feeling so exhausted the past 3-4 weeks. She still thinks it is a good idea to go ahead with the colonoscopy.
I also asked for a bone density test, I said to her that I have no idea where I will be after October and if it is China or India I would like to have a clean bill of health before I go.
She agreed and will arrange for a bone density test as well.

Well I'll continue with my Adobe Photoshop Tutorials that I found. I am learning heaps:)

Cheers
Maria

and it is just toooooo funny. I sent it to a friend and I have a feeling that she will identify with some of it. Nothing much is happening here. It is glorious outside. The bloomin trees are doing their thing and all the spring flowers are doing theirs. I just love it when it is like this. I had my 6 month check up this morning and I passed. Good for another 6. Slavika how did the tea time gals like the new bathroom? It sounds so pretty. What's next on the list? Ann it's a good thing you don't have to do any singing. Get over that stuff. Maria good luck on the cholesterol test. Hope it can be controlled by diet. Are you working hard or hardly working?:D I guess if you are playing with photoshop it is the latter. I can't stand being in - I am going outside.

Slavika did a wonderful job decorating. It is so bright and cheery in the bathroom... just love the white fixtures. :) I wonder what room you will do next?
Maria maybe you will need a cholesterol lowering drug. My DH needs to take Lipitor, diet doesn't do it for him. It is expensive, but worth it. It brought those numbers down.

I took Mom to see the Dr today, and he said her knee has healed perfectly, and she doesn't have to see him again. He really did give her back her life. She is so happy. :)

What a beautiful day today, I have forgiven the "weather man" for the nasty stuff we had for the last month, today is perfect.

Hope you all are having a good day too. :D

Trudy - what great news! So glad your mother is doing so well! What a miracle that she has her life back! We all might gripe about doctors and the medical establishment, but they do such wonders!

And Peggy - you didn't even say you were going in for your 6-month checkup. I tell the world and am tense and a little bit more air-headed the week before. So glad you passed!

Slavika - I just love your color scheme. So bright and cheerful! And really, believe me, you got it done so quickly! Now have you spotted your next project?

Maria - so they can see that you had a virus by your blood? Isn't that remarkable! That probably explains your fatigue.

Rita - how is the job?

Lily- What is California like these days? We here in Oklahoma have all got spring fever deluxe. I just went outside and sat in the sun and the wind blew me wrongside out and I don't even care! Love that sun!

Going to have my little Austin this weekend. He is crawling everywhere so he will be harder to keep up with, but so looking forward to it. His dad is putting up a new fence and his mom is doing crafts for a craft show. Can't wait!

G'day all,

Another beautiful day here in Sydney. It is supposed to be like this until at least Sunday. DS is coming sunday so I hope the nice weather continues whilst they are here.
We also had some bad news, my s-i-l who has lung cancer has been sent home from hospital, cancer is spreading to the larynx and she is no longer getting chemo :( Doesn't sound good.

Glenda sounds like you are going to have your hands full with little Austin seeing he is now crawling about. Enjoy your time with him.

Peggy pleased you passed your medical, I am with you, spring is just the best time of the year, I imagene in your part of the world it would be even better when you have such cold winters. Many trees here are non-deciduous, which is nice in some ways but that coming of 'life' in spring is not noticeable.

Trudy interesting about your dh and his control of cholestrol. I eat very little meat or dairy products (don't like it) and I am very careful with how much fat I cook, so I am at a bit of a loss as to how I can go about reducing my cholestrol. The doctor said that some people just cannot reduce it with diet and need medication. I will find out the results of the test I had done yesterday next Monday so I will just wait and see.

Slavika any chance of you taking a photo of your new bathroom and posting it on the net for all to see the final result? Didn't see you post yesterday, hope you are just 'busy' and not unwell.

I am working very hard doing the on-line tutorials for Photoshop, they are just great and I have learnt quite a bit. You even get homework that you can post on line to be marked! I do get a bit annoyed when I am interupted by my paid work ;)

Have a great day all

Hi Everybody I was pleased that that gals liked the way I decorated my bathroom. When I was out with my friend for lunch today, I asked her if she thought I should buy more of the yellow towels (I had bought 4 of them already, along with the blue). She said, that would do, because with all the "big" things being white it would be nice and easy to change the colours whenever I wanted to. I was thinking this evening, that at Christmas I could get bright red towels and some little Christmas accessories for the bathroom. :)

So gals, what do you think, should I redo my livingroom next????
That room would be a challange because my carpets, sofa, and loveseat are all BLUE. Two occassional chairs in beige/rust/brownish colours. My DIL suggested yellow for the walls (they are white now). Any suggestions????? :)

Glenda enjoy your grandbaby....it sure doesn't take them long to grow from babies to kids. My grandson walked over to my place after school yesterday, so Trudy saw him and couldn't believe how big he was. He had put some gel in his hair that morning before school ,that was BLUE. LOL :D He looked so cute.
As soon as he came in he asked if I could throw his jeans in the dryer because he "accidently" got water on the back of the pant legs, and later "accidently" got water from another puddle on the front of the jeans. LOL It's really very strange how those puddles just seem to jump right up at you.

Well I went back to WW yesterday and it was not a pretty picture. When I handed in my booklet to "PAY" I had attached a note to it that said....."The party's over". :( Oh well time to start over and get these extra lbs off.

Maria I am on cholesterol med. too. My doctor told me the same thing, sometimes diet alone simply will not lower those numbers. I hope you will be pleased with your results.

Peggy I'm pleased that your 6 mo.check up went well. It's always nice to get a clean bill of health. :)
Ann with everybody's weather getting warmer maybe you won't have to get out the air mattresses after all. :D
Night all. :sheep:

It is so glorious here today that I even cut the grass this morning. The mower cooperated and started for me. That is the test if I will cut or not. I am going to play in the back later. We are having a big old dying maple tree cut down next week. I hate to see it go but ....I don't want it falling down either. I have the prettiest purple tulips in bloom that I forgot I planted last year.
Trudy I am so glad that your mom is a new woman. It was worth all that she went through. Now you will have to keep up with her.
Slavika I think that little boys just normally attract water. The blue hair sounds cute. Is it all spikey? I guess he is totally cool. I agree with your dil. I think a pale yellow would be pretty with all the bllue. Go get some chips and try some shades out.
Glenda have fun with Austin this weekend. Like I know that you won't. You will be getting a lot of exercise. Now that the weather is nicer you can take him out in the fresh air. What kind of crafts is your dil doing? When you mentioned crafts that got my heart to beating faster. I know I am wierd. Actually I sort of put yesterday's appointment out of my mind. I think if I had gone through all that you have I probably wouldn't. Maria I am so sorry about your sil. Hopefully you will have all of your answers Monday. My dh is on Lipitor also. Now if I could only get him away from the cheese. Lily must be working her fingers to the bone. Ann are you better? Time to go play in the yard. :smug:

Hi Everybody I got this today from my friend (she is still in Maui, just until Saturday). She thought she would send it to me, as these same conditions would apply regardless as to where we live. :( I thought I would pass the info on to you gals.

Subject: IMPORTANT TO YOUR HEALTH!

A stock clerk was sent to clean up a storeroom in Maui, Hawaii. When he got back, he was complaining that the storeroom was really filthy and that he had noticed dried mouse or rat droppings in some areas. A couple of days later, he started to feel like he was coming down with a stomach flu, complained of sore joints and headaches, and began to vomit. He went to bed and never really got up again. Within two days he was severely ill and
weak. His blood sugar count was down to 66, and his face and eyeballs were yellow. He was rushed to the emergency at Pali-Momi, where he was diagnosed to be suffering from massive organ failure. He died shortly before midnight.

No one would have made the connection between his job and his death, had it not been for a doctor who specifically asked if he had been in a warehouse or exposed to dried rat or mouse droppings at any time. They said there is a virus (much like the Hanta virus) that lives in dried rat and mouse droppings. Once dried, these droppings are like dust and can easily be breathed in or ingested if a person does not wear protective gear or fails to wash face and hands thoroughly.

An autopsy was performed on the clerk to verify the doctor's suspicions.
This is why it is extremely important to ALWAYS carefully rinse off the tops of canned sodas or foods, and to wipe off pasta packaging, cereal boxes, and so on.

Almost everything you buy in a supermarket was stored in a warehouse at one time or another, and stores themselves often have rodents. Most of us remember to wash vegetables and fruits but never think of boxes and cans.

The ugly truth is, even the most modern, upper-class, super store has rats and mice. And their warehouse most assuredly does!

Whenever you buy any canned soft drink, please make sure that you wash the top with running water and soap or, if that is not available, drink with a straw. The investigation of soda cans by the Center for Disease Control
in Atlanta discovered that the tops of soda cans can be encrusted with dried rat's urine, which is so toxic it can be lethal. Canned drinks and other foodstuffs are stored in warehouses and containers that are usually infested with Rodents, and then they get transported to retail outlets
without being properly cleaned. Please forward this message to the people you care about.

G'day all,

This is becoming a bit boring :dizzy: but another beautiful day here, 25 degrees and sunny.

Slavika that is pretty scarey, I hadn't heard that one. My late m-i-l developed some form of tb and it was said that was due either to her handling lots of potting soil (she loved gardening) or she caught it from a parrot they had for many years. It does make you wonder, you can never be too careful though I have to confess to being somewhat slack at times and probably wouldn't think of washing cans etc.

Peggy isn't that just the best about bulbs when you forget that you planted certain ones. Aahh back to mowing lawns, it was a chore that I always enjoyed (providing the mower started first up of course :D)much to the amazement of friends. We had a cylinderical type mower, I used to go up and down one way and then go over the whole thing again creating a beautiful checkered effect, then of course trim all the edges, snip a bit here and a bit there, it was a very satisfying job. I am sure you are all rivetted by this info

Trudy it is great your Mum has recovered so well, good for her, she must have a great attitude.

Son and partner are coming Sunday, I am really looking forward to it as they are. We have some special things planned. I have booked a comedy show at the Opera House, which I thought would be fun, son is playing golf with dh and I will go shopping with son's partner.
I am taking one day off work, they are going back to Adelaide again on Friday night so son can play football and his partner can play netball on the saturday.

Back to my tutorials, other than my eyes just about popping out from staring at two screens all day, I have learnt heaps :)

Cheers
Maria

Trudy: Im sorry I havent been around to post the exact card. But it looks like slavika took care of you. Its been so busy I havent even checked my email. :(

So glad your mom got a great DR report and all is well. Im sure she is very happy to!

Maria: Glad your DD called to apologise. Never had kids but I have some Sisters that are envious and really have no need to be. Your a good Mom, you covered your basis, so your DH was right in telling you not to worry. You did what you thought was right in your heart and you should not doubt that. Your kids know you love them. You can only do so much and your DD will come around and understand that. Might take awhile, but she will.

Slavika: Yeah!!!!!! Bathroom is done! Sounds like its is beautiful from Trudys report. :) And I really like the color theme you have described. Spooky article.

Ann: The card requires Flash on your machine and if you dont have it you wont beable to see it. It should ask you if you want it. Its ok to download if you want.

Peggy: Your tulips sound beatiful. Always nice when you get a surpise your forgot about.

Glenda: Calif. cant make up its mind. Is it spring? Yes for today! Tomorrow.. No. Its just keeps going back and forth. Just bring it on and make me happy!

Hopefully it will slow down a bit for me. Hate not checking in here. Feel like I have missed so much. ALAS.......

Later!

I still sound pretty squeaky, but can talk. Still coughing a lot, but last night slept all night. So progress is noted.:D:

Trudy: so glad your Mom is doing well. Amazing miracles done these days. Knees and hips and finger joints and all sorts of stuff.

Maria: I couldn't take all the cholesterol lowering drugs, because of my digesstive problems. So the Dr. put me on Niacin, to try. He wanted me to go up 1000mg. but I couldn't handle that. So now aI take 250mgs per day and my cholesterol is down to a more normal range. He(the Dr.) says sometimes it's in the genes. My diet did help some, not much fat, no sweets, fiber and whole grains, fish and chicken, lots of vegetables and fruit. Sound like WW doesn't it! Good luck with all your tests.

Slavika: Scary article, but I read sbome time ago about several people in New Mexico, I think, who were sick and some died and it was blames on a specific type of desert mouse. Is that the Hanta Virus?
Your bathroom sounds neat. How about a monochromatic living room, with your walls a pale blue, using the tint of your furniture. Of course, I really like blue, so that would appeal to me.

Peggy: Glad your check up was good. I miss the spring bulbs blooming . Don't have tulips, daffodils, etc. here. Our spring is quite different. Right now we aaare battling a lot of pollen, too. It is so dry, and all the live oak trees are blooming. Some mornings our cars look almost yellow from the pollen that has settled. Not good for people with allergies.

Glenda: Bet you will have a wonderful time with your grandbaby. Lots of exercise, and just plain satisfaction.

Lily: I do have flash on my PC. So I'm not sure what the problem was. Maybe I was just impatient. That does happen:D: I have a question for you and Karen. Why does WW say you should weigh your bananas, and oranges, and tangerines, etc. with the skin on? That is what we were told at our meeting. Makes no sense to me. You don't eat the skin. But a banana peel makes a big difference in the weight.

Tomorrow is weigh-in for me. Not looking forward to it. Time will tell.

Rita: How is the new Job going?

Goodnight all. Havae a good week-end. Ann
