Default I need a kick in the bum to get going!

Just looking for some support this morning. The past few weeks have been way too busy and I have been eating out everyday (no kidding). So I've been the same weight now for a month and my reslove to workout is waining...

plus my allerigies are horrible right now and if I take somthing I get sleepy and if I don't I sneeze for 3 miles. See, I have lots of excuses but little motivation

Any advice to getting motivated again?

How to get motivated:

Spend 10 minutes on a stairmaster at low speed, if you can.

Stand naked in front of a full-length mirror. You look a LOT better than you used to, don't you? Do you want to see yourself gain again? I didn't think so.

Allergy symptoms? Losing weight and eating less carbohydrate can help your symptoms. I know this from personal experience.

Not working out? If you go more than 2 weeks without some activity, you're essentially starting over on your fitness.

Do you really think that having a busy life and allergies makes any difference at all to how your body treats excess calories? You know what happens--turns into fat.

I hope this gives you some motivation!

Thank you, JayEll I really needed that myself. The last few mornings, when my "workout alarm" goes off, I slap at it and refuse to budge until my "work day" alarm goes off. Thinking about having to restart all my hard work...yeah, that did it for me. Thank you!

I just wanted to say good for you for staying the same and not gaining. But if you don't get on top of it now, the scale is going to start to inch upward.

Ooooh, Jay is SO good when you ask for a kick in the bum. She's somewhat of a specialist!

What she said. You can DO this...just make a decision to go for it and go. No excuses, no explanations.

Yes, all of the above. Is it worth it to you to start gaining again? I think not!!! Now, my lady, up and at it even if it's not on your schedule for the rest of the day. Make the time. What do you hate worse: being fat or working out? What do you hate worse: spending money on new "big" clothes or spending money on new "skinny" clothes? It's up to you. Now get going!!!
