handheld TV's or portable DVD players?

handheld tv's on amazon run from $70-$200...depending on how big of a screen you want.

radio shack has some too.

It depends on what features you're looking for. Probably anywhere from $100-$200

Everyone so far is completely accurate with their price ranges. I just wanted to add my 2 cents. If you are thinking of getting one to watch while you work out, go for it. It was the best thing I ever did. I found that watching TV, rather than watching a movie, made my workout seem easier. I would challenge myself with a half hour show. I knew that all I needed to do was make it through that show and I was done. Plus, the show kind of takes your mind off the exercise. Also, as I improve, I have started to use the commercials as extra calorie burners. I really kick it up through the commercials and then slow back down to a normal pace during the show. The commercials are like sprinting from one telephone pole to the next when running.

Good luck!
