It's time for the 3FC general weigh in thread. Everyone is welcome to join, just jump in whenever your official weigh in day rolls around. Good luck, everyone.

Me: 186, up 3.5 pounds from two weeks ago. I don't know why I'm having such a hard time with the 180's time time. I've gotten out of them fairly easy in the past. I'm discouraged that this is such a struggle, but discouragement isn't the same as quitting.

JayE, you're doing great, and tealeaf I think you have the right idea don't quit, it is just so darn easy to fall back in to old habits and regain, I saw 160 this week and was like, oh no!! I was at 154 not that long a go and how quickly one can pack on 5 pounds when its so hard to lose a pound is discouraging, all it takes is a few restaurants and no exercise and no tracking and up goes the scale, and it can be hard to pull yourself out of that, but it can be done.
So me I've been fluctuating the last few weeks between 155 and a high of 160, today I am 157.2, phew back in the 150's. I have a physical job and I do cross country running, so that keeps me in check, but I just overeat a lot of the time.

I started the week at 240.4 and I weighed in at a solid 241 this morning.

Then again, I pigged out last Saturday and again on Wednesday. Yesterday I skipped dinner, but that was because I went to happy hour with my work friends and had a glass of pinot and a whole order of cheese sticks (6).

I guess given the way I've eaten over the last 7 days, gaining .6 lbs isn't the end of the world...right?

I also have good news and bad news. The good news is I have a DATE tonight! YIPPEE! With a tall guy with a beard and mustache (I DIG full beards on men) who is incredibly smart and, from his photos, pretty cute too. The bad news is that we're going to an Indian restaurant.

Anyone have any tips on what Indian dishes are the healthiest?

I'm down 2 pounds this week. YAY! I've started training for a week long backpacking trip I'm taking with my brothers this spring. My goal is to lose as much as my pack is probably going to weigh. I figure it will be about 50 pounds. I also want to be in Onederland by my birthday on Halloween.

I was at 234.5 this morning, half a pound down from last Friday. I'm going to weigh in again tomorrow, though, since I felt a little bogged down.

I was in total shock and utter amazement when the scale read 240.6 this morning. I went to the kids bathroom and used their scale to verify. That is a 7 pound loss from 2 weeks ago. I also went on 2 vacations (1 mini with some girl friends and 1 big one with the family). Though both trips I did massive amounts of walking. It has to be a fluke. I did stay pretty much on my plan, but there were a few things I ate that I had to estimate calories.

More news. Measured my waist on Thursday, 12 inches...1 FOOT gone! from 54" to 42". One more foot to go! I also, fit into about 3/4 of my old size 18's. There are a few items that are still to tight, but the majority fit comfortably! YIPEE. That's going from a busting out of 28 to a comfortable 18. I am so keeping this going.

Lori, that is fantastic! Congratulations on all your achievements!

I lost 1 lb. this week, which puts me at 154. That means I've lost 18 lbs. - but I haven't gone down a pants size yet...!?!?!? My 12's are getting loose, but I don't *quite* fit into 10's yet. Frustrating. But I'm happy that I'm losing.

This morning I was also shocked at the scale... 130.4... Down 1.8 pounds from last official weigh in two weeks ago...

I didn't expect to see any change because I had a bad weekend, but getting back solid on plan, even a little under some days, worked! I also added 1/2 scoop of protein to my morning breakfast smoothie this past Monday, so had more calories early in the day. Maybe that is why I have been less hungry later in the evening...

After a very roller coastery week (I was up to 296.5 on Monday!!) that practically left me dizzy, I'm down to 291.5 this morning. I can live with that. For the moment. The 291.5 means that I've now lost 15.5 pounds!! Whoohooo!

According to my parents' scale (I'm visiting family, so I'm away from my usual scale) I'm 196. Still can't declare onederland until I get back to Vermont.

127... still, but that's okay with me since I had my TOM over the weekend and the beginning of this week. I was pretty worried that it would have affected my weight because I would have an extra snack here and there thanks to lovely pms. It would be nice that I'm still retaining a little bit more water and drop down to 126 in the next couple days. But either way I'm not disappointed, I feel good. =]

198 down 7 from.....well Monday when I weighed myself. On a new plan and I always lose big the first week or two. It's keeping me motivated though! I wish all weeks could be like this!

I don't "officially" weigh until Monday, but I am already down 2 lbs for the week - at 177. Yay! Don't blow it the next day and a half...

I thought it went well but then again, I came home at 11:15pm on a Friday night. Bleh. Didn't get a kiss either.

Wouldn't be surprised if I didn't hear from him. I'm doomed to be single and lonely forever.

The scale read 176, but I feel like it should be lowerrrr. Today I actually had fluctuation the scale said 178, then it wanted to settle on 177.. I think its time for me to invest in a more accurate scale. lol. I refuse to move my ticker until i'm LESS than 176!

well my weigh in isnt until tomorrow, but i always weigh less on sundays anyway, so i might as well just use that weigh in >.< This week i am down to 78.3kg from 79kg last week :carrot: yay!

I'm 175.1 this morning, down about three pounds from last week. That's my biggest weekly drop so far and I don't know how it happened because I'm not exercising due to recent surgery. Hope I'm not losing muscle, but I like what the scale says.

Down to 218! I don't have an official weight in day. I check every day. :p The scale says 218, but my mom said the scale is off by 2 pounds. Because when she goes to the doctor its always too pounds less then what our scale says. So that would put me at 216, but I don't want to get my hopes up. So I am sticking with what it says.

Hey everyone! Looks like people are doing great - hang in there!

On my end - i went on a vacation with my bf's family for about 5 days, and i didn't stick with the diet at all. I tried to just do stuff like not finish my entire sandwich or something, and eat lots of fruit, but otherwise, it was a lot of greasy beach fare. Still, somehow i lost 1.5 lbs! Oh, who knows. ;)

Still, back on the saddle, starting today. Especially for exercise. Oooof!

So I'm back from vacation, where I must have eaten my body weight in lepinje and cevapi (Croatian bread and sausage). But I stayed on plan most of the time and made sure to do plenty of walking and swimming at the beach. I weighed myself this morning on my usual scale, and...


Officially! I can't believe I've finally gotten here... I haven't been this weight since about 1994. I still have some ways to go, but I think it might be time for new photos in the mini-goal album!

I'm new to the 3FC site, but I really like the encouragement from this weigh-in thread. I weighed in on 8/18 at 225. Oh, to be in ONEDERLAND. Congrats, Drina!

I missed my Sunday weigh-in because I was on vacation. I was 218 this morning. Kind of a relief, even though I didn't lose, as I was afraid I'd gain
