Default Best Wishes Meg !

Meg is having knee surgery today

I will be thinking about you all day, wish you a blissful sleep while they poke and prod, and a speedy recovery. I'm sure you will be the poster girl for rehab and pre-hab, and will be racing your physiotherapist down the hallway in record time on those new bionic knees!

Her DH will email or call me to let me know how she is doing and I'll pass on the news.

Please keep the bionic woman in your thoughts today, Maintainers!

As I was reading this, I was thinking the same thing! Meg, our own "bionic woman", only MUCH more.

I will definitely be thinking of you today and the weeks to follow as you recover from your much needed surgery. I know it will be tough, but if anyone knows how to do this well - it's you. And I'm excited about what it will bring about for you. After all you've been through and all the vast improvements you've made to your life (not to mention ours as well), it's high time you had some properly working knees there.

Looking forward to hearing only good news.

Meg, I know you will do well with the surgery, and you will be amazed at how you feel afterwards. I'm a rehab nurse, and we get people with knee surgery all the time, so I see it first hand.

Best wishes Meg! I can't wait to hear only the best news about your surgery, and I know you'll blast through rehab in no time. I know your knees have been causing a lot of pain and trouble for you. It's high time you had some new ones! I'll be thinking of you.
