Hi everyone. I have a question about the differences between the old and new At Home Kits and the related programs. Several years ago I purchased the WW At Home Kit that details the "Winning Points" Program. In it, you're give a number of points to use each day, you can "bank" points from one day to the next within the week, and you can earn activity points. I've been using it for the past week and a half and have lost 4 pounds so far.

However, in looking around the internet at the WW site and various other places, it looks like WW has changed the plan to one called "Flex". I'm assuming the updated At Home Kit details this new program. What's different about it? Do you think it's "new and improved" enough that I should purchase the new At Home Kit?

Any thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated! :dizzy:

on flex you get a daily points target in place of a range thats about it. if wp is working for ya i'd say no.

On the new Flex Plan, you get your daily points target (mine is 22) and then you get 35 Flex Points that are banked for the week. For example, if I went over my points by 5 one day and ate 27 points, then I'd still have 30 Flex Points left for the rest of the week. They re-set back to 35 when you wiegh in the next week.

You can also earn Activity Points each day. You get one Actvitiy Point for every 100 calories you burn by exercising. So if I burn 300 calories working out one day, I have 3 extra points to add to my Daily Target. I could eat 25 points. If I want to eat more, then I would use Flex Points. Activity Points cannot be banked. If you want to eat them, you have to eat them the day you earn them.

Confusing? LOL You can't bank Daily Points or Activity Points on this plan, but you can bank Flex Points. My guess is that you're given a much smaller daily Points allowance to allow for the Flex Points.

I also do the winning points and it works for me. I like having the daily points range and banking points to save for later. I look at it this way.. if what you are doing is working, then there is no need to change it.
