This is one of those "throw in as much as you want" recipes.
spring mix salad
whole wheat tortellini
olive oil
1/4 cup fresh basil chiffonade
fresh mozzarella balls, cut in half
grape tomatoes, cut in half
creamy ceasar-garlic dressing
Cook the tortellini according to the package directions. Drain, rinse with cool water, and then let drain well until dry. Toss tortellini with a drizzle of olive oil and the basil. Lightly toss together all ingredients except the dressing. Dress at the last minute before serving or let people add it themselves.
I made this for a housewarming this weekend and it was SO GOOD. It got all scarfed up, too.
