I just need to keep myself motivated and honest. I started a 12 week program yesterday and I am going to add in each day I successfully finish. I *need* to publicly post this so I feel less like slacking off.

Week 1: all 7 days OP
Week 2: :carrot: :carrot:

Cat~slacking is not allowed! How is it going? You sticking with the running? I kind of quit a few months back but am starting back up again and I just joined the gym. Best of luck with your new "plan"!!

Oh girl I fell off the running wagon a while ago. Two weeks ago I ran for the first time in a month and I made it a mile LOL. Did that two more times, and now I am doing an interval running plan for the 12 weeks so it won't be more than a mile or two for this then I will add in more mileage when I am stronger.

Meant to add I am doing the 12 week Body for Life challenge, so when I am done I will be posting pics! Be prepared to be scared (at least in the before pics).

All right then!!! Way to go!!! You've done 4 days, no reason you can't do a fifth. And then a sixth. Time flies, one way or the other. Might as well spend it wisely. One day at a time and before you know it that 80 days will be in the bag. :smug:

Great Job! I am pulling for you as well!

Thanks guys. Day 5 down. Did weights today (upper body) and really pushed it and felt a great sense of accomplishment. My body is incredibly sore and tired from all this new work but I am overall feeling a lot better.

08-16-2008, 03:21 AM
Did you start at 205 lbs??

08-16-2008, 02:30 PM
Yes I started at 205 on Monday. Today I am holding at 198 again.

Not feeling so great today. It was like 95 degrees and no a/c and I was just pooped all day. Thank god I did my cardio at 8am! I ate OP, did my exercise thing but I dunno I am not going to be surprised if my weight stays the same for another couple of days. Tomorrow is the cheat day, eat what I want and no exercise. Um I think not. I will walk tomorrow if nothing else and I am only going to cheat for one meal not all day. Truth is, I don't really crave the same stuff anymore. I sure don't want fast food and my best friend told me if I ate pizza I'd probably get the runs since I haven't had anything fried in a week LOL! I am thinking sushi and one Coke. The rest of the day just stick to my meals. I guess I will see how I feel in the morning. Maybe I am getting sick and won't want anything but soup hehe.

Day 8 today and still OP.

08-18-2008, 04:44 PM
You're doing great! I might see if I can keep up with 12 weeks too :D

08-18-2008, 04:51 PM
Wow what an inspirational thread! Keep up your great work! :D

08-18-2008, 05:36 PM
Wow!! 9 lbs in 8 days!! That is great!! You are such an inspiration!! Thank you so much!! I read your very first post and I thought about starting too, but didn't. Now i wish I have.

In other words, you inspired me to do the same!! Thank you!! They do not have a body for life programme over here, but I am going to go to the gym 6 times a week and stay on plan (calorie counting).

Good luck to you. 11 weeks to go!!

08-18-2008, 06:00 PM
Thanks everyone. One of my little "therapy" sessions from the book had me list things I wanted to accomplish in the next 12 weeks, and one of them was to inspire others to push themselves after seeing that I did it. So I am happy if this inspires anyone to as Nike says "just do it"!!!

I did lower body weights today, did great, and now I am packing my entire house alone, so I bet that is some extra cardio! And my husband comes in this week (from a 14 month deployment to Iraq).....hahah lots of cals to be burned later on this week!

08-19-2008, 12:49 PM
Onto day 9. I am up 2 pounds from cheat day and holding. Weird. Oh well maybe it's muscle building? I am down in inches especially in my legs. A few in the waist and 1" in my arm :)

08-19-2008, 01:32 PM
Maybe something about that cheat day......... :chin:

08-19-2008, 03:41 PM
Yeah I think I am not going to be taking too many more of those. And to be honest yes I cheated but I didn't ingest 10,000 calories. Oh well.

08-20-2008, 04:09 PM
I almost cheated yesterday but made it through. Frustrated as I have stalled and have not lost/gained in three days. I feel better though physically and my workouts are getting better. Hoping by the end of the week to have lost something though. I like to be rewarded for my efforts!
