I'm making stuffed zucchini and it calls for 1 1/2 T of flour. Does anyone know what I can use to thicken the stuffing (Feta cheese stuffing) so I can leave the flour out? Is there a different flour that would work?
Does anyone have a different stuffing recipe that is Atkins friendly?
These all have carbs but they have less carbs than your standard white flour, and all more than make up for the small amt of carbs thru protein or fiber content.
Thank you! I'm about to go shopping and try each of the options you've recommended till I see which we prefer. I just went ahead and made it without flour of anykind and it was fine but I need to explore and be ready in the future.
So I should report that I just used some MIM like bread crumbs and it worked perfectly with a really nice taste.......so another problem solved. Not many things that are impossible to adapt to this program! YES!!!
