Not sure if this is the right place to post so sorry if it is. I did the 1st day of the 30 Day Shred yesterday and of course I'm really sore all over but my lower stomach feels different, its almost like it feels ripped. I'm talking waaaaaay lower stomach. I had a c-section about 2 years ago and was wondering if that has something to do with it. I've heard that when you have a c-section they have to cut into muscle. I dunno, but i do know the pain there is worse thatn the rest of my body today. Any advice?
Thanks!
Gina

I feel the same way I also have a c section a couple of years ago and I know what you mean. I think its all normal though especially when working out is new you should be ok as long as you have a rest day in between each workout. Other than that I dont know I think I am going to take a nice hot bath tonight...LOL

I as well had a C-section last year. I love 30-day Shred. I need to start that again speaking of. I think that is just muscle that rarely gets used unless it is targeted specifically. I know that before I started 30-Day Shred I avoided anything where I would be laying on my back and have to try and sit up because I knew I was going to let out a huge groan. Now I find myself working my abs on jogs and just when I walk in general. It has most definitely helped with my posture.

I'm gonna take today off and do it again tomorrow. I figured it was just cause I haven't used that specific muscle. I know I should expect to b sore I was just worried that I may have pulled something, but now I feel better about it. No pain no gain..
Thanks!

I was reading about c-sections recently, and, at least in my country, they try to separate the stomach muscles instead of cutting through them. I'm no expert, but it's likely that your stomach muscles have not been cut through. Maybe you could get in touch with your doctor from then and find out, so you don't have to wonder when doing a new exercise

The same thing happened to me when I first started doing turbo jam. I over exerted myself and ended up straining my lower stomach muscles pretty bad. It took a week for the pain to go away.
