Just wanted to introduce myself..I'm new to this site and have been on the beach for 6 days on Phase 1...Doing good so far..havent weighed in yet..trying to stay off the scale and weigh in weekly..I weigh in on wed morning..I'll let everyone know how i did.
A little about myself: I'm a 46 yr old Mother of two..Robb 22yrs and Ben 15yrs..married to a wonderful man named Joe for a little over 2yrs..We live in Colorado and have an Akita and a cat... My husband is some support...he's a runner and sprinter and competes..never has to worry about his weight...Looking for some beach buddies to make my journey share ups and downs etc...

Hi Sarah and :welcome: to the Beach and to 3FC. It's nice to see now Beach Beauties jump right in to the Daily. There is also the weekly Phase I Chickies thread where the Phase I folks swap ideas and victories. The stickies in teh FAQ section contain a wealth of information.

Regarding the weight tracker: when you have been here 20 full days and have made 20 posts, you will be able to make your tracker.

Welcome cocowgirl :)....I am also fairly new (on my 5th week).....lost 8.5 lbs during phase 1 but have hit a wall :).......but come here often for recipes, advice etc........look forward to reading your posts of your successes, struggles etc......

Hi, cocowgirl. I'm fairly recent here, about 6 weeks into the diet. I've lost about 13 pounds since I started SBD (well, 11 of them following the plan; 3 days of not eating due to illness are responsible for the most recent couple of pounds...I really don't recommend losing weight that way!). Six were on phase I.

I'm also in Colorado.

Another newbie. Been here about 3 week. Just started P2. I admire your willpower for not weighing. This is a wonderful place for support and encouragement.

Hello fellow Beach babes! I'm new to the beach and just began my journey today as well. I can't wait to check in after a few days as well to let everyone know how things are going. It looks like this is a good place to get some support staying on track.
hello newbies :)
I've got a mini goal to lose 5 lbs by labor day for the big 10 yr high school reunion....and a long term goal to lose 20-30 by next summer. My boyfriend and I just went shopping for an engagement ring and I am so excited but don't want to put off getting in shape until the actual proposal happens.

Welcome new chicks! You will love it here, everyone is very supportive and great with questions! This group has been such a huge part of my success on the beach, I have been at goal for over a year and just can't pry myself away from these gals as they are the ones that keep me in check daily! Good luck, look forward to getting to know you all better!

Welcome! The people on this board are awesome, very supportive and full of great advice. If you take the time to go through the previous posts, you will gain alot of knowledge about the south beach diet.

Hello , I am new too, started phase 1 this Sat, 19th, and doing well 4 days and as of today 5 lbs lighter,:carrot: I can't wait a week to weigh myslef..

Hi and welcome. I am pretty new here too, I started Sb about a month ago. I have lost about 8 lbs since then. Everyone here is awesome! so very helpful and supportive. It is also very reassuring to hear that "maybe you are then only one who....." does whatever whether it be slip up or hit a platuea or have motivation problems with exercise....Some of the recipes i have gotten have been out of this world!
